@Matt Morley you can use the "voting" powerup to allow people to add a thumbs up when they have acknowledged a card, but you can't vote on assigned checklist items. If you wanted to, you could subtask instead of assigning checklist items:…

@Elena Korolkova there are also several options these days for using Trello for email directly (including my own :) I just shared a post about that here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Re-Accessing-the-from-sender-field-of-an-incoming-email/qaq-p/1627530/comment-id/43084#M43084

@Michael Pryor That's great! Back in the day, I used to copy a link to the card and open it in Safari on iOS and the interface worked *just enough* to copy the address out :)
-
@Thierry Moutard do you mean that your colleagues can't see this menu option? Note that in order to see that option they must be a member of a board. Even if everyone in your team can see the board, they have to Join the board in order to interact with it: https://help.trello.com/article/1090-unable-to-edit-a-team-board
-
@Sam Marrocco if you're finding some Butler commands are particularly taxing you can port those to Trellinator. For example this function would populate any card created with checklists, labels, members and description from a template whenever and however it was created:…
-
@discerntolearn you can apply a filter to the board when you're in the calendar view: https://help.trello.com/article/787-filtering-search-cards-on-a-board
-
@Sam Marrocco You can't get that information from the standard "email to board" feature, but I have a product that lets you use a Trello board as a shared Gmail client: http://www.benkodesk.com/ Then there's Hipporello which lets you accept support tickets through web forms as well as forwarding emails in and replying to…
-
@Rebecca Arthur you might like the new "team table" view that's just been released (you'll need to start you business class trial in order to use this feature)
-
@Jeff Gould I'd recommend starting off with a board that has lists for each of the key stages in on-boarding, and a template card that you can copy that has all the information you need to get as checklist items. When you start a new client on-boarding process just copy that card, and move the card through lists as you…
-
@Laura Templeton gah! It's not much of a time saver if you have to run it manually 48 times and rename the lists!!! I had another typo, the last butlerDefaultdate should have been butlerDefaultDate with a capital, sorry I was in a rush and didn't test, I've tested with a dummy board now and this works:…
-
@Laura Templeton hey sorry I had a typo in the code: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/8128c5431e2c2adb3a565ec0cc55f76e note the change there I had "list.copy" instead of "template.copy" Can you try again?
-
@Jill Kennelly yep you're correct if you create that type of card it really needs to be considered a "pointer" back to the original, unless you use something like Unito to synch the cards up. There's feature coming up that will allow a native synch through a linked card, but it's not quite there yet. Not far off though,…
-
@Michael Pryor does that apply to cards created via the API also? Currently if I create a card named with only a link (or a card named with a board link) via the API it doesn't turn it into a "link card" or a "board card". I'm particularly interested in this feature for linking/synching cards when you release it, so I hope…
-
@[deleted] as far as I understand it, when you have assigned a checklist item to a member then you convert it to a linked card it won't preserve the member or due date assignment. This Trellinator function would do it though: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/416d3487d41b86a531d788223099e24e You can read more about…

@Kimi Oaks Butler Bot runs as a bot, so if the butlerbot member doesn't have access to your board, it can't do anything. If you remove the butlerbot member from your board and it's still running, then it's not running as a bot, but running through native Butler, in which case you can click the "Butler" button at the top…
-
@Frances Brower another board might have a Butler rule installed that is making the change. Try following these instructions to recover the card description change actions: https://help.trello.com/article/783-recovering-the-description-of-a-card-that-has-been-changed but instead of: updateCard:desc put: updateCard:name In…
-
@MarcusKirsch but instead of creating the GO LIVE card via automate.io, you could just create the first one then copy it to each list and modify the copies however you need to, and move the due date accordingly.
-
@MarcusKirsch well, if you're creating a card via automate.io and setting a due date on it, you could trigger when a due date is set on a card in the list where the cards are created, then you could copy the card and move the due date on the copy:
-
@MarcusKirsch at what point do you want to run this command? Like do you want it to run weekly, or when a due date is set on the last card in a list? Something else?
-
@Jill Kennelly instead of using a board button, why not trigger the command to create a linked copy in each person's board when they're added to a card as a member?
-
@Tammi Rettig probably you're saying something like "remind me to" and Siri interprets it as trying to add a reminder. Name the shortcut something else like "create trello card". Here's my command for it: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Hands-free-Trello-card-creation-with-Siri-Shortcuts/ba-p/1407761
-
@Kerri Holiman @Laura Templeton okay I think this is what you're after: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/8128c5431e2c2adb3a565ec0cc55f76e
-
@Felix your maintenance board is pretty similar to mine, I also use due date completion as the trigger to advance the due date but I do it like this: when the due date is marked as complete in a card in list "{*} days", set due in {wildcard1} days, and move the card to the bottom of the list The reason I set due in X days…
-
@Bill Gate do you mean that you can't add more than 10 cards to any list? Are you able to maybe do a screencast demonstrating this?
-
@MarcusKirsch this Trellinator function would do it: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/3d9e7e5aa82709b20b9f04abad574278 You can read more about Trellinator here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Introducing-Trellinator-Automate-Trello-with-Google-Apps-Script/ba-p/925271
-
@James Roark hey, presumably this is for the new download thingy. You can see my implementation here: https://github.com/iaindooley/trellinator-libs/blob/master/TrelloApi.js#L89 and here: https://github.com/iaindooley/trellinator-libs/blob/master/HttpApi.js#L44

@Ghitta Basson is there some consistent theme in the comments? like they're all from the same person or contain the same text? Or you just want to pick and choose?
-
@Ostreiko Anna yes you just have to invite another team member to the board: https://help.trello.com/article/717-adding-people-to-a-board
-
@Del Bao you can search using the "is:archived" modifier: https://help.trello.com/article/808-searching-for-cards-all-boards
-
@Roeland Schoppers what about creating a button that moves all cards in the list to a new list "Reported DATE" so you have a record of what was reported on a given date, the lists can then exist out to the right of the board until you want to archive them.
