This is great! I suppose a slight change from the usual questions would definitely make a difference in some way or the other. PS: Trello does change things up :D

Thanks @Kristen Roth ! Will definitely keep a note of DACI! :)

Great Idea!

Icebreakers are always both exciting and intimidating. I mean it always depends upon the size of the group, the type of people (ones who are familiar and unfamiliar). But irrespective of all that, once it kicks off I guess things start to get interesting. Even things like asking simple questions, presenting fun questions…

Hello JSM team, Thanks for the opportunity to get answers during JSM June! 1. Do you plan to support security on Request Types? I mean to restrict Ticket creation for certain request types? As @Patricia Francezi_iDev_ pointed out it would also be good to have plans for "team assignment" along with agent assignment for…

Hi @Thayne Munson There is no built-in functionality to roll up story points from sub-tasks to parent Stories at least in Jira Software. You can have a look at the below post https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/How-can-you-automatically-sum-the-story-points-of-all-subtasks/qaq-p/863364 Another…

Hi @Nawaaz SOHAWON I am doing good :) Jira ServiceDesk doesnt support ability to restrict ticket creation for certain "Request Types". This is an open requested feature by lot of users. You can vote for the Issue so that Atlassian hopefully fixes it in the near future https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-195
-
Hi @Martina Schusterová Yes.. I think its not supported
-
Hi @Nawaaz SOHAWON Greetings ! Can you specify if its the "ServiceDesk Customers" or the "Agent" who creates the Request ? Usually its the "ServiceDesk Customers" who create new Requests from the Portal page, and Agents provide the necessary resolution for the Ticket in his Queue.

Hi @Daniel Verberne Welcome to the Community! To link sections within the page or between pages you can make use of the Macros Here is a writeup on how to proceed with the different usecases https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/ Cheers Ajay

@Brant Schroeder ! I wish a Sound clip was also attached to listen and rockon ! Awesome lyrics .. To join the party, here is a high velocity cover screen which I sketched...

@Jack Brickey A very good read ... I was not aware of the trick to add boards under the profile. Now that I know will use it for my daily Scrum
-
Hi @Caro N Welcome to the community! I just checked creating a new project and see that I have the icons & search box within the same page Can you check creating a new Service Management project and let me know?
-
Hi @Kathy Hart Could you share the KPIs which you would love to have in the Macro ? If its simple we could look into Forge for achieving the use-case Cheers Ajay
-
@Bailey Davis Oops that was a wrong screenshot and I have corrected it
-
Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the community. The default ServiceDesk project reports doesnt support grouping based on organizations. Have a look at the marketplace Apps which supports the use-case
-
Hi @Aya AlJboor Welcome to the community. You could use Opsgenie On-Call Management & Escalation feature to achieve the use-case https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-management/whats-new/jira-service-management-powered-by-opsgenie
-
Hi @Bailey Davis The issue seems to be the Body field is not set as required. In-fact the field needs needs to be set as required in the"Request form" for it to be visible in the Portal Page. See attached screenshot
-
Hi Sarah, I know its a strange issue and it seems that all your configuration are OK. Can you contact Atlassian Support to debug the issue further - https://support.atlassian.com/customer/servicedesk-portal#JIRA
-
@Keith Jones yes .. I got the assumption wrong that the Request Type is always set to "Emailed Request" Type.
-
Hi @Keith Jones I think you can add the "Field has been modified" validator for achieving the usecase.
-
HI @Lynn van Dooren Usually when you have a service Desk project set up the legacy automation takes care of handling the status transitions based on the rule below In your case you can use Automation for Jira rule as an example to set the Status based on external/internal comment
-
@Sarah Kennedy Greetings and welcome to the community! Can you confirm the following so that we can have the issue debugged a) The Issue was created after the SLA rules were updated - because SLAs are not applied to historical issues. b) You get to see the problematic requests by providing the same JQL 'Service=level3 AND…
-
Hi @Jorge Vea Greetings and welcome to the Atlassian community. Can you please clarify your use-case a bit further? Agents need to be a licensed user ( hence a login) to access the requests. Cheers Ajay
-
Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the Community ! Can you confirm you have admin permissions? Usually non-admin team mates can Export to PDF a single topic from the Tools menu. Admins can export the entire space or multiple pages by going through the Space Admin menu to the Advanced tab.
-
Hi @Rose Sayegh You could achieve the use-case either using a Post function Ref - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-automatically-change-the-assignee-when-transitioning-the-workflow-705954603.html

Hi @Helen C Is the support team based out of a single timezone/location ? Jira Service Management lets you create calendars that match the working hours of your team including lunch breaks, holidays, and weekends. You can then assign that calendar to an SLA(s), so the SLA clock stops when your team are away. Regards Ajay
