Hi @Julien Fiocco Happy to help, but I'd need a bit more context to point you in the right direction. A few questions: Which app are you trying to install? (the name or Marketplace listing link would be helpful) What error message are you seeing, if any? Are you a site admin? Only users with the "Atlassian Marketplace"…

@amit awasthi Can you try adding additional system prompt such as "After the Jira task creation action is completed, summarize the created tasks with their keys and links, then end the conversation. Do not restart the workflow or re-display the input summary." and check the behaviour?

Hi @Annelise Sheehan Welcome to the Community! Operations in JSM is essentially the Opsgenie functionality that Atlassian baked directly into JSM after acquiring Opsgenie. It handles on-call scheduling, alert management, incident routing, and escalation policies — all natively within JSM instead of needing a separate…

Hi @Tori Tuhi Welcome to the community! Your list of the current supported tools is accurate. There's no attachment upload capability in the Rovo MCP Server right now, and you're not the only one asking for it. In the meantime, you can make use fo the REST API if your workflow can handle a two-step process- Use the MCP…

Hi @Suganya Krishnasamy Rovo Chat is built on top of a general-purpose LLM, and the way it grounds responses to your org's Teamwork Graph is through a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) layer. When a query doesn't match anything in the indexed organizational data, the model does fall back to its pre-trained knowledge…

Hi @Codemine That has to go through Atlassian's support directly. Here's what I'd recommend: Raise a support request here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ — choose "Account Login and Email Issues" as the category. Explain that you've lost both your authenticator and your recovery key.

Great that you figured it out! :)

Hi @Bernardo GARCIA MONCAYO I think there might be a small mix-up here. The API token you're looking at in Bitbucket (App passwords) is Bitbucket-specific — that's correct, those only work for Bitbucket APIs and git operations. For Confluence Cloud (and Jira Cloud), you need an Atlassian API token, which is created from a…

Hi @Edie Hovermale Short answer: no, the official Jira Cloud for Slack integration doesn't sync file attachments from Slack into Jira issues. When you create or comment on a Jira issue from Slack, only the text content gets carried over — any images, PDFs, or other files attached in the Slack message are left behind.

Hi @Loren Hughes The Rovo AI tools currently emit mentions in the old wiki-markup style (`[~accountId:xxx]`) rather than constructing proper ADF (Atlassian Document Format) mention nodes. Since Jira Cloud comments use ADF under the hood, those wiki-style mentions just render as plain text instead of clickable @-mentions.…

Hi @Chris Gartman As @Trudy P Claspill mentioned, can you go to Project settings > Channels > Chat, check that the chat channel is enabled and that it's mapped to request types that are accessible to external (non-org) users. If the request type backing the chat is restricted to internal users or a specific customer…

Hi @Dermot Tiernan First, Atlassian does offer data residency for Cloud products (Jira, Confluence, JSM) in the Australia realm. If you haven't already, make sure your org is pinned to the Australian realm via admin.atlassian.com under "Data residency." That covers in-scope product data at rest. That said, given you're…

Hi @julioxx22 The Rovo MCP server is actually available to all Atlassian Cloud customers at no additional cost. There's no separate license or add-on to purchase for it. You just need an Atlassian Cloud site. The only thing that varies by plan is the rate limit: Free plan: 500 API calls per hour Standard plan: 1,000 calls…
-
Hi @Sofia Suazo You can go to support.atlassian.com, select "Billing and licensing" as the category, and explain that you need full account deletion.

Hi @Joel Esler I dont think write access has been removed from the MCP Can you make sure the MCP connector is using the latest version? Also the connector configuration may have been updated and needs to be re-authorized with the new permission scopes. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the Confluence MCP in your Claude…

Can youmake sure your team member still has the "Add Comments" permission in the project's permission scheme. Go to Project Settings → Permissions and look for the "Add Comments" row. If their role or group got accidentally removed during a recent change, the comment box simply won't render for them.

Hi @Yoshikazu Kameoka Welcome to the community! I know it sounds basic, but try having them clear their browser cache and cookies for the Atlassian domain, or open it in an incognito window? I've seen rendering glitches in the new UI that go away after a cache clear.

Hi @Jennifer Bader The Reporter picker in the UI's Basic search filters out deactivated users by default, which makes sense in some contexts but really falls short when you need historical data. Good news is there are a couple of solid workarounds using JQL (Advanced search): Option 1 — Search by email or account ID…

Hi @Alex Cook You're right that native Jira dashboards don't give you a straightforward way to sum up custom number fields across a filtered set of issues. The built-in gadgets (pie chart, two-dimensional filter stats, etc.) can show counts and individual field values, but they won't roll up a "total internal cost" across…
-
Hi @Jaemin Kim The .net vs .com thing is confusing, I know, but Atlassian does operate across multiple domains for different internal functions. It would best if you can contact support.atlassian.com to resolve the matter

Hi @kfaizullabhoy74 Please reach out to Atlassian Support.

Hi @prashant Atlassian hasn't officially deprecated acli, but the reality is their investment has clearly shifted elsewhere. The authentication update you mentioned was more of a maintenance patch than a feature release. The bigger picture is that Atlassian has been pouring their CLI energy into two newer tools that are…
-
Hi @Teal Wilkes Welcome to the community! To your first question - as of now, Rovo doesn't offer a way to swap out the underlying AI model. Atlassian controls that integration on their end and there's no admin-facing toggle to choose a different provider. That said, Atlassian has been expanding their AI partnerships, so…
-
Hi @Edward Martin Welcome to the community! Jira Product Discovery intentionally excludes the native "Description" field from table view columns. The reasoning is that descriptions tend to be long-form rich text (with formatting, images, etc.) that don't render well in a table cell. JPD's table views are built around…
-
Hi @Francisco Guzman The Trello API treats Custom Fields a bit differently from standard card data They live under a separate endpoint (/cards/{id}/customFieldItems) rather than being part of the default card object. I think most connectors and integrations only pull from the main card payload, so Custom Fields get missed…
-
Hi @Petra Welcome to the community! Can you verify if the Resolution field is set to "Done" on transition to Done status . Its possible that some issues are being moved to Done through a bulk operation, an automation, or a transition that bypasses that post-function? If the Resolution field is empty even though the Status…
-
Hi @Thomas Nielsen The MCP toolset currently supports creating links but doesn't expose a dedicated "remove link" action. So your CLI agent wasn't wrong — it genuinely doesn't have the capability to do it through the MCP channel right now. The current workaround would be to use the Jira REST API Get the link IDs — call GET…
-
Hi @Alexandre Paiva de Lacerda Costa I think this is actually by-design behavior because Epics in Jira are intentionally kept above the sprint level in the hierarchy. Sprints belong to stories and tasks - that's where the actual sprint commitment lives. When the Program Board calculates a target delivery date for an epic,…

Cool .. @Jensine Chung there you go!

Hi @Jongin Moon The hash code you're seeing (15TMG3P) is Jira's client-side error reference. Unfortunately, the community can't look those up — only Atlassian Support can trace them. If the steps above don't help, I'd recommend opening a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com and include that hash and trace ID.…
