Uh, are you sure you want ALL the sessions in ONE Google Calendar? Ok, here you go: https://darryl.com/team24/index-gcal.html (Yes, you could "subscribe to this") You could also use my hacked-together interface to browse all sessions and if you click on any of them, it will give you the option to copy it to your calendar…

Oh, maybe you're talking about the new Agenda view, which does show every session, with your selected ones highlighted in blue, like this?
-
Huh. When I click on "My schedule" I only see my sessions + things like meals, and bash. Oh, and it did "automatically" add Keynotes to my schedule, but I can remove those: I scheduled that Braindate, and there's other sessions that I chose below that.

It's important to note that using Calendar Sync in the app creates a new event on your personal calendar for each session I've selected. At least that's what it did for me in Google. Since it is called Sync though, I assume that it will remove sessions from my calendar if I remove them in the app or website. (Since the app…

Hi @Dan Allenby - Some clarifying questions: * When you say you have a manual change form populated from fields in your change - are you talking about fields in Jira? * And so at a certain point in a change ticket's workflow in Jira, you want to send an email with a form that the client has to approve? * So you're looking…

(Because we had a TAM, and because I'm that guy, I _did_ ask Scott about the HipChat outage when I had my 5 minutes of face-to-face with him. He was incredibly gracious and apologetic to my pretty jerky question.)
-
Wait, is it these guys? Well, if it's like years past, I might have to ask if they know the root cause of the outage. :-D [Hipchat in 2015(?) (when ChatOps was the hot thing?), Cloud in 2022]

Hi, so I haven't played with Postman for a while, so I downloaded it. Neat! Under Auth, I chose "Basic Auth" and entered my Username and Token, and this worked: So with some quick testing I was able to get a 403 if I had the incorrect CLOUDSITEID in the URL. That is probably your issue.…
-
Hi @Steven Vits and @Andras M_ Welp, I just actually tested (sorry for not doing that earlier) and was ALSO getting a weird 403 error. Something changed, and I figured it out. tl;dr * Original endpoint now uses CLOUD SITE ID instead of ORGANIZATION ID as before:…
-
@Steven Vits if you're going to use curl, it's much easier to use this instead of dealing with base64 encoding, which can be tricky. So try using this: --user me@example.com:my-api-token Instead of this: --header 'Authorization: Basic base64encodedToken' If you still get a 403, then you can be assured that it's not an…

I was looking to see if Google Calendar (still) doesn't have a 3-day view to embed (they don't), but maybe the Agenda (and crappy week-long view) will be useful for somebody? https://darryl.com/team24/index-gcal.html If anything, it's a trip to see just how much Atlassian has packed into this conference.
-
Bill, I would love to be a beta-tester for that. On the other hand, I probably should get outdoors more, maybe get back into snowboarding... :-}
-
Ohey yeah, and be sure to check out my last comment in that article which has the magic command to extract the rules with a simple curl command (as provided by @Andras M_ from Atlassian, with a small tweak for the --user bit): curl --location…

Hi @אלינור שריקי - yes, that's exactly what Automation can do. Here's a good example: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library#/rule/1357179 When an issue is created → copy assignee from Epic Make sure all child issues of an epic stays assigned to the correct person on your team. Automatically…

Hi @Josh Shepherd As @Caitlyn Lariviere already pointed out the new Agenda view does already offer a very similar format, which is great! It also looks way better on mobile than my hack does, but honestly we need to give full props to @Tom Moors who whipped up his amazing Team 23 Schedule apparently on the plane ride over…
-
Ha! I had a similar answer to @Jeroen Poismans :-}
-
Hi @Kelvin Teng - I believe this should do the trick: TextField_C: {{#if(not(exists(issue.customfield_ID)))}}None{{/}}{{issue.customfield_ID}}
-
Oh man, thank you @Caitlyn Lariviere - I could've saved myself some work! Eh, on the other hand, it's always fun to hack this kind of thing together. :-} In case folks are wondering, here's the hackery that scrapes and downloads all of the session data from the website into a big old .ICS file suitable for import into a…

Ooof - once again, I misread the original question. Didn't see the real problem was the assignment was failing. Sorry. However, when I was making my nice screenshots, I did see something that might help you: In your Transition action, you can opt to set fields there, so maybe you could try that and see if it makes a…
-
Hi @Prinka Rai - you're on the right track. You'll need to make sure when you create a Condition that you allow for additional clauses (different Issue Types) via the ELSE IF function buy hitting the button I've circled in red below: You would then simply add your conditions for each clause. So I don't have a Support issue…

Hi @Adam Abela - over to the right of this post are some related posts, some of which contain great starting points to answer your question. (I kind of wish the software that runs this site would surface those *BEFORE* people post.) At any rate, these ones look good: * Send weekly report of issues with current status…

Hi @Chen Qiu - unfortunately Jira does not have a Table Type field. It's a very old suggestion that was denied: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-6696 Probably part of why Atlassian didn't do it is because several third-party vendors made plugins to fill the need. Table Apps On Data Center (on-prem) there is: *…

Glad to see you got it working! Sorry I misunderstood what you meant by "running a script". I'd appreciate if you could accept my answer below, since it did lead you to the split() command that you were looking for.

Oh crap @Boyan Angelov _Nemetschek Bulgaria_, sorry, you're totally right, when I make the same call for another user it doesn't include the email. The Organization REST API for users actually includes users of all types, including: atlassian (Jira/Confluence users), customers, and apps. Caveat: It only works for Managed…

Hey @Kukk I love this idea. Unfortunately I don't think it can be done with only Jira Automation. * Automation doesn't support adding attachments, as documented here and here * Also, I'm not even sure how they would implement this* File picker dialog so you can upload files to Automation (stored where?) so that certain…
-
By the way, I just tested the Organization REST API just now and was able to successfully get a full listing of my org's users, including account_id, email, and last active.
-
Hi @Boyan Angelov _Nemetschek Bulgaria_ - interesting that you say you could not get email from REST. I've tested this query: https://MYSITE.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/user?accountId=123456:11ff11111-RESTOFMYACCOUNTID And got this back: // 20240227153024 //…

Hey @Chen Qiu and @Bill Sheboy -- Bill is quite right that Automation isn't the right tool here. But I wanted to point out that Chen' screenshot and description indicates that they want to force a pop-up when somebody tries to edit the Component field while viewing the ticket. Jira simply doesn't have a mechanism for that…
-
Hi @Jamshaid -- So Jira Automation doesn't support running scripts (Bash, Python), but it might be able to do what you want using built-in functionality. If this is a one-time thing you need to run, you could use a Manual Trigger. And then to update a custom field value, you would use the Edit Issue action. Within the text…
