Also, have a look at some recommendations here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/OutOfMemoryError-unable-to-create-new-native-thread/qaq-p/1096028 it might help
-
Hi @Damian ! Yes, it might be the issue. How much free RAM does your server have? You can check it using the following command: free -m
-
Hello @Damian Please, check the following article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-server-throws-outofmemoryerror-unable-to-create-new-native-thread-224397455.html

Thank you @Adrian Stephen :) I might as well accept the answer myself but I usually try to make people understand the importance of this simple action. But thank you, nevertheless, I really appreciate it. Have a nice day!
-
You're welcome! Have a nice day! P.S. You might also want to mark the answer as accepted so that people with the same or similar question would find the answer easier ;)

Hi @Alex Tsyglin and welcome to our Community! Please, try to add the following: ... AND resolution = Done AND resolution changed AFTER startOfDay(-1) BEFORE endOfDay(-1)

Hello @Kuan Yong Wong The workaround I've found is to use a No Format macro: Another way around would be clicking "Unlink" all the time.
-
Hi ashwini.todewar@definelabs.com ! Yes, it can be done within Jira Software
-
Hi @Vishal I'm glad it worked out :) I think it's enough to restart or reload the iptables service after new rules are added. P.S. By the way, you might want to mark the answer as "accepted" so that people with the same or similar questions would find it easily. Have a nice day!

Hi! Here's a quick guide: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/running-confluence-with-firewall-on-linux-693896826.html What rules have you added to iptables? Do they correspond to the ones in the article?
-
Hi @Dominic Bridge Please try the suggested solution here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Software-project-templates-is-not-available-in-quot-Create/qaq-p/1096739

Just a small follow-up. Please note, that new issues wouldn't be created in this case. The existing ones would be brought to your attention with the help of issue filter subscription.
-
Hello ashwini.todewar@definelabs.com ! We've accomplished a similar task with the help of the following: * Date/(Time) custom field * Issue filter subscription The idea is to change Date/Time to the desired specific day and when it comes all the subscribed users receive a letter. The drawback of this method is that you…

You're always welcome. Have a nice day!

Hi @Pablo Marcos and welcome to our Community! Could you please be more specific? Here is some material that might help (I think): https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Jira-Core-Vs-Jira-Software/qaq-p/820160

Hello @Virginia Harbord I'd recommend using the "Permission helper" functionality: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/jira-admin-helper-818578850.html to determine the cause of such behavior.
-
I'm glad it worked. To better understand what's going on with the permissions I'd go through the corresponding permission scheme of the project. Perhaps "internal_developers" group has the "browse project" permission whereas other ones don't. Have a nice day!
-
Hey @Francois Louw Please, try to use the Permission Helper to see what the issue might be there: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/jira-admin-helper-818578850.html If it's ok and the user should be able to access the issue in the project with no problem, get back to us and we'll try to troubleshoot it…
-
Hello @metinbulak I think the "Message threshold" setting is the one you need. In more detail: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/advanced-configuration-868983204.html Hope it helps.
-
Hi @Sekhar Chandra ! If a page is orphaned it means there are no incoming links to it and it is positioned at the 'root' beside the initial home page of the space. Have you tried to expand pages at the 'Reorder' section?
-
Hi @Meredith O-Donnell and welcome to our community! I'm not sure whether there's such an option within the template itself but the method you could try to direct the user to the certain spot is Link to an anchor on a page You can place the link to an anchor at the top of the temple with a descriptive text. It adds the…

You're welcome! Glad your method worked. I wish I could be more of help.

It applies to Ubuntu as well, by the way. Please, have a look at the following: Jira 8.0.2 Server - Health Check: Thread Limit Issue The similar problem and its solution are described there. Hope it helps.
-
There may also be an issue with this: systemd ignores system ulimits. The values will need to be specified in the proper service file <servicename>.service. What OS do you run? Is it CentOS/RHEL 7?
-
Hi @Calvin Senteza Do you run your Confluence instance under the confluence user?
-
Hi @КБУ 1551 and welcome to our Community! As long as your users are fetched from the AD (in the Service Desk) I think you should just use the AD integration for the Confluence as well. If you had your users listed in the local user directory on Service Desk we could use it as an external directory for Confluence. Hope it…

You're welcome! I'm glad it worked.

Hm, and you're positive you're able to telnet to the port 443?
