Don't get me started on the text editor.

@Matt Brauer As much as I love Confluence, it is article centric. Not to push anyone to a different solution, but O365 would be file centric. I've been in Confluence for 4 years now and yes.. it does feel hacky. This is why the Atlassian Marketplace has so many options out there :)
-
@Carlos Garcia Navarro Well that was simple! Thank you!
-
@Martin Bayer _MoroSystems_ s_r_o__ Using kwxxxxxxxxxx worked... Going to have to remember to use maiden names in these scripts. Thank you! Jonathan
-
@Martin Bayer _MoroSystems_ s_r_o__ * Verified that the user key and lower_user_name were different in the database. What is odd is the previous post functions work fine for the user, it is only this newly created post function. Note: I have the scriptconsole, however I don't seem to have a selection for UserManager.
-
@Martin Bayer _MoroSystems_ s_r_o__ That might be the situation however in step 6 the only code is issue.assigneeId = "Katie.Txxxxxxx" . Where are you suggesting I update userkey/username value?
-
@Miguel Bravo Created and Updated are system dates and do not display as choices in the view screen.

Getting down to the wire, any news? :)

This issue is a bug noted here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-59266

The LiveSearch macro on the home page is a must in this case.

@Jules Perrelet , I think it would be worth while for you to engage an Atlassian Solution Partner to iron out all of your requirements: https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/ * They can help with designing your content so it matches the same look and feel (via global CSS) as your current website. * They would also help…

Note for the community: After creating a test page, adding the attachments macro, assigning a label to the macro, I was able to browse/upload a file and the label attaches. As soon as I add a Team Calendar, I get the error message when uploading.

Hi @pewterhacker , Based on this article https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-search-syntax-158720.html special characters don't play nice with Confluence search. Phrases with special characters Confluence ignores all symbols, such as hyphens or underscores, even if they are included within double quotes. Avoid…

@ahmet.dingil You have options, but all options will require extra steps. * Restricting the pages per @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- is the simplest option. You will need restriction access in the space. * @Max Foerster - K15t 's option of taking the pages to root by reordering pages is a work around which requires space admin…

@Fernando Bordallo Perfect; that info confirmed our path to a work around.
-
@Ada Chen This would be a good panel topic at Summit 2020 ;)
-
@Fernando Bordallo I think I need more info on the mail handler piece. If I am changing the mail handler so Reporter = JIRA Admin (nested in jira-administrators), shouldn't the emails import into the project regardless of who the "from" is in the mailbox? In regards to the Issue Collector, I need to find out why I can't…
-
Yeah, I am using the JIRA service account as the reporter so users know stuff is coming in via email. I'll check out the issue collectors suggestion. If that doesn't work, we may be able to do some fancy mail routing from the LOTUS NOTES end. I bold that because people can't believe we utilize it still :)
-
Hi @brbojorque Within the email's subject it would be cool if we could call out a component by putting it within brackets. We do something similar with Hyland's Perceptive Content product. At this time, I don't think we need to investigate any further. The users just responded back to me and said they like the ability to…
-
I am open to purchasing an add-on as this would benefit all teams.
-
@Alex Laycy I was able to set up the incoming mail, thank you so much! In regards to the JIRA automation, what was your use case for using that plugin with incoming mail? We currently have JSU Automation Suite add-on, so depending on your answer, I'll see if this add-on can do something similar. If it can't, maybe I can…

Alex, Thanks for the information! I'll definitely check this out. I'll have the added challenge of working with Lotus Notes :P - Jonathan

Here is the only other article I could find in regards to RSS and Slack: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Having-trouble-getting-RSS-Feed-to-work/qaq-p/711268 - Jonathan
-
@Anjali Ravi , In Confluence space settings, space tools, there is an RSS Feeds section. Within there should be a blog link. Next, go to your desired Slack channel and add the app RSS. Try pasting the URL into that RSS app and see if your new blogs post to the channel after creation. Note: I can't try this because we block…
-
@Sloan N_ B_ , After deleting the cache, the arrows updated to the new priority icons. Thanks! Jonathan
-
Note: Pages created by clicking the create from template button will be nested under the parent page.
-
@venkata bharat vuyyuru If you are the space admin, you can create a space template like so: * Go to your desired space * Space tools * Content tools * Click the 'Create New Template' button * Create your template (add label if desired) * Save * Go to a parent page in your space * Add the {Create from template} macro *…

@Carlo Anapoli I updated the response above. My setup is to generate a sub task based on selection of a component. The sub task will then auto assign to whoever we hard code in step 12. It is messy but it works. - Jonathan

@Niharika Shriva , While the Confluence Usage Statistics was enabled, our CPU spiked. We sent logs off to Atlassian, who then responded back that the stuck threads were due to the Popular macro. Once the Confluence Usage Statistics was disabled, space activity and the popular macro are no longer options, however our global…
