@Emily Errico If you ever need to work page elements/IDs, check out this page: * How to hide elements in Confluence using CSS or JavaScript Modifying CSS or HTML has been hit or miss on my end.. interested if someone else posts more info about CSS's styles in Confluence. Best of luck!

@Jarrud Diercks, Based on this community post, it looks like there are limitations with custom templates in regards to populating variables. * A potential solution is to look into creating your own blueprint. * Template VS Blueprint

Secretly took and PASSED ACP-200 today! Thanks everyone for the support!

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-Do you have a link to the documentation that states this - and does this also apply to Confluence cloud?

Hi @Kyu Hyuk Kyung, Check out how your environment is set up by reviewing the storage configuration: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/attachment-storage-configuration-166876.html?_ga=2.201134825.633765514.1529334302-593906906.1525808578 Regards

@Miriam Martinez If creating spaces for each project is out of the question, your only other easy option is to put the customer name in front of each page title. I can feel all the frowns across the community... Box company Requirements --- Box company Development --- Box company Final Software company Requirements ---…
-
@Caroline Collet, To the point above, your administrator will need to assist you with your space permissions. Your help desk should be able to get you in touch with your Confluence administrator. You can also send the administrator a question though the following Confluence URL: *…

These add-ons can potentially save you time if this is a routine process. Wouldn't hurt downloading the free trial and seeing if paid solutions are worth it.
-
If you have any budget, I would suggest looking into Copy Page Hierarchy or Copy Page Tree. I use one to copy template spaces for new space creation. The add-ons range from 250-350USD.

@AnnWorley So "can view" is not necessary "read only". Apologies, I still have the SharePoint mind-set. So there is no "read only" restrictions that will carry down. To restrict editing, I would need to break inheritance and choose "editing restrictions" for each desired children page.

@Bhakti Paranjpe No special plug in. Created a new space because my personal space was imported via XML. New space permissions: confluence-users have page add permissions (for this test). Results: Restricted "can view" to Confluence Test user on level 1 a : Inherited level 2 a page allows user to edit. Breaking the…

Confluence-users is the only group in space settings. They have page add permissions. I would still think restricting a page to view only would trump the add permission in space permissions. Here is the page restriction break down and results for Confluence Test user. Any child page under Permissions Test (Can View) would…

Thanks @Gezim Shehu [Communardo]. I am however looking for Confluence results.

@Shannon S, Thank you for the information. I will share these findings with our desktop support team. Regards, Jon

@AnnWorleyIs there a way I can send you a direct message: Got a question to run by you.
-
Thanks @AnnWorley; voted.

After testing Copy Page Hierarchy macro, this seems to resolve my current need. Still would like to know if there is a way to use @currentspace value in the Task Report macro.
-
@Shannon S Windows 7
-
@TS If this solution worked out for you, I would appreciate it if you marked this question as answered. This will help others to know the macro fields can be case sensitive.
-
* Confirm the file is still at that URL destination * Are you able to just read it (download)?
-
Pinging the minds of @AnnWorleyand @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-though not a sustainable model :D

The quick solution would be to combine the 2 labels into 1 label (C). Label A and B are on a page, but add C if you want it to be in your Content Report Table. I'll look though the knowledge base as well to see if you can do a "this and that" statement in the Content Report Table, but I doubt it. I like being proven wrong…

Thanks @Shannon S for the info.

Yup; I had reindexed - without luck. If this happens again, I will look into your suggestion + Mikael's post. Thanks!

No, the company's Confluence/JIRA admin needs to deactivate your account. Give them a quick call or email to complete that task. I wouldn't @mention the admin in the environment because that will definitely expose the security hole. *no raise for that person*

Tonight, yes. Interesting... UAT couldn't verify end of life when I installed 7.7.0 ... yet gave the check mark so I never expanded to look at the health check. What does this check do? Checks if the running version of JIRA is approaching, or has reached End of Life. Result We couldn't verify the End of Life date for JIRA…

@Morgan Knicely Do bugs reported at support.atlassian.com land in jira.atlassian.com?

Glad it worked out!

Just saw your example photo, update your page properties report macro so it displays column Status instead of status. See if that works.
