@Vickie Mullins On newer versions of Confluence Server, table fixed width is an option. If you are on Cloud, you already have this option. If you see Fixed Width when clicking in the table, follow @Thomas Schlegel's response and then drag the walls of the cell to the desired width. * You will be eyeballing the column…

It seems to be a case by case by environment scenario. Example: Putting a Trello board on Confluence Server won't work.. but will work on Confluence Cloud. Still sad about this..

@Andy If this solution works, please vote and mark it as the accepted solution. I would prefer this thread overtop of the "2 other fun items" response. Thanks!
-
2 other fun items: * If you have project spaces, add a space shortcut to that JIRA project. * If you have application links made for these 2 apps, you can highlight text on a Confluence page and then make a JIRA task instantly. * Best of luck!

Sorry for the book :) Part 1: When it comes to how to organize, my business does things by spaces due to the volume of content and the permission needs. Project services space: * Includes project status dashboard Project 1 space: Includes project status, meeting notes, support files, requirements, etc. Project 2 space:…

In the space you created, if you click on the space logo in the upper left, whatever page that takes you to is your current home page. You can point to a new home page in space tools/overview (if needed). When it comes to your URL, you will want to make sure your space name does not use special characters or else the URL…
-
Note: This status page is on our project's home page because the project's home page will be the "title"/link in your dashboard.
-
Hi @Andy, Essentially you will want to create a project status page in each project space. The information you want to roll up into a dashboard should be in a 2 column x many row table wrapped with the page properties macro. Example: Note: Your status pages will need a shared tag at the bottom of the page. Your Confluence…

FYI: Just clicking the mailto link did nothing; I had to ctrl+click for any action to happen.
-
Hi @Tra, Links like that will open in your default browser. In my case, ctrl+click on the mailto: link will open a new tab in Chrome. Check out the following page and see if you can set the mailto to open in your default email system. I can't test this due to not having local admin permissions on my PC.

@[deleted] Hopefully these notes from my environment will get you moving: * Set up the application links from the JIRA side (easier) * Application Link settings: Oauth incoming/outgoing * Outgoing Authentication settings: Enable outgoing 2-Legged OAuth requests (checked) * Install root certificate in trust store: SSL and…

@Amalia Tiropoli If getting Trello to work nice with Confluence Server is important to you, please vote for this enhancement :) https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-45779?_ga=2.133996615.874569294.1532352619-845179816.1480959432

@Amalia Tiropoli I take it you are on Server. Some macros are available in Cloud but not Server; This is the case for Trello. Besides for placing a link to your Trello board, I have not found another work around. * Note: I also tried an iframe src="trello board URL" in the HTML macro, however that still did not work. Some…

Confirmed (sadly) that Trello will display as a link on Confluence Server 6.6.1:
-
@Amalia Tiropoli Per @Shannon S the macro will auto-insert as soon as you paste the URL of the card or board in Confluence Cloud. More information can be found in Shannon's response here. Note: I don't believe we have this functionality on Confluence Server; we can only insert a link.

Got to love MS Paint. If I only had photoshop....

Hope you all have a great time at the upcoming Summit! Hopefully will see some of you at the Vegas Summit in 2019!

Hi @Barth Weishoff Yes. After opening up the space to this user(s), you would need to add the necessary parent / children page restrictions so they don't see or edit sensitive information. Another option is to move the desired page(s) into a space with less restrictions. - Jon
-
Pages - add also means pages - editing.
-
@Barth Weishoff, Confirm "pages - add" is checked in the space permissions. Those users need editing ability in the space before you can edit any page.
-
Are you a Confluence administrator with that user account? If so, try with a non-admin.
-
Including satellite locations :)
-
@formeroosid, In space tools / permissions, granting the users "Pages - Add - checkmark" will allow them to edit pages (including adding the team calendar macro). To restrict the ability to add a calendar, deny the editing ability by "Pages - Add - X". Note: The impact of doing this is the user(s) wouldn't be able to edit…

If the goal is to invite a JIRA user into your Confluence environment, you can invite the user from here: https://yourconfluenceURL/admin/users/inviteuser.action. Note: This will consume a Confluence license.
-
@Senthilkumar, The title of the question is sounding like you need a service account listed in your global permissions to pass the health check. A Confluence service account should be made in case your SSO goes down - you then have the ability to log in. Please verify you have an admin account listed in the individual…

@[deleted] Having the date picker functionality in the meeting note template may be a difference between Confluence Server and Confluence Cloud. After reviewing the meeting notes blueprint documentation for Cloud, it only mentions @mentions functionality and not the date picker.
-
Can you still supply a screenshot of this section in editing mode?
-
@[deleted] Disregard my previous post; looks like you are good.
-
Please edit your meeting note page and supply a screenshot of the action items area. If there is a macro in that section, what is it called? Thoughts: The default meeting notes blueprint has a text area for action items, not a Task List. If your blueprint was modified to use a "Task List Macro", then the date picker might…
