Hi Lori, I haven't seen a way to export from Confluence article to Excel, but you can export to word or PDF. If you truly need to get that content (assuming a Confluence table) into Excel, you can copy the table in edit mode, then paste in Excel. Copying from read view won't grab the table headers for some reason. If this…

If you have a personal space, you can see how it works there. Also, was that a global change in your environment, or just on one space?
-
You need to be a space admin to access different configurations.
-
This can at least be a work around until it is (or is not) addressed in a future release.

I am on 6.6.1 and I also show parent level pages like this. We don't normally run this navigation view; instead we use page tree. Try this: Space tools, configure side bar, navigation display options = page tree.

Vivian, Even after creating the application links, linking (copy/paste) is the only way I know of to complete your requirement. * It would be powerful if searching for an existing issue was in the create JIRA issue pop-up.
-
*Ticket created for this issue. Will attach link to it once Atlassian responds.

Hi Casey, I do have the same issue when working with fixed width tables. After lining up the 3rd columns (with the blue bar) they visibly look correct however are wrong in the code. This definitely looks like a bug.

Martin, We have about 60+ active projects in our IT environment. Each is it's own space. The most important part of these projects is the project status section on the home pages. We wrap this table with the page properties macro so the content will display elsewhere in a nice project dashboard. Having 60+ projects in one…

G+G works in Confluence Server 6.6.1 :) just saying... It literally just puts the cursor in the global search box.

Note: I am also finding that this community is a fantastic resource if you have outstanding questions that google or the Atlassian knowledge base can't answer.

Hi Ashwin, For cloud, you can sign up here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/try and create a URL for your site. I believe this is a 14 day trial. Basics / how-tos / and how to cancel can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/get-started-with-atlassian-cloud-744721598.html YouTube is also a…

What exactly are your sources? Both Confluence or is one an intranet, twiki, or other site? If this is a confluence to confluence request, try out the {include page macro. This won't duplicate the header information; just brings over the content of the page.
-
Confluence Source Editor is the free add-on to do this.

Since I am in @Matt Doar's case where I don't want to impact the business, I will stick with the 6 month approach. Exception would be if a cool new feature (like co-authoring in 6x) comes up in Confluence 7. Thank you all for the feedback!

I really wish Atlassian would put more table options in the toolbar; It would help with my page formatting :) Example: Create a field to change the table properties like: * Table width = 50% * Table width = 800px Potential workaround until resolved:

Hi Sandy, What version of the applications are you running? Links don't seem to break for me in Confluence Server 6.6.1 / JIRA Server 7.4.1. Have you indexed the environments lately? - Jon

If you are completely locked out, can you access Confluence with the admin account manually? Example URL: https://yourURL/login.action?nosso

Nagaraju, Why wouldn't you do the full AD sync during off hours, then make sure 'incremental sync' is selected in the AD user directory? We have 7k in my organization and it didn't take long to do a full sync. - Jon

Brief testing: * Accessing a profile (clicking their user name via mention or in search results) will display ~username in URL * Accessing personal space = ID in URL When going to personal spaces, special characters cause the ID to occur. ~ is in your space key. *Hoping other champions can verify my statement* Regards.

One of the differences between Cloud and Server is the look and feel. If you do want to modify the global navigation, you can try a couple things: * Change the global CSS to hide elements * Download a theme add-on (example: Brikit or RefinedTheme) and configure accordingly Hope this helps!

Are you on Confluence Cloud or Server? Note: Your example points a cloud instance.

Hi Igor, Are you referring to the global navigation (blue bar) or just the breadcrumbs on the top of each page?

Hi Christine, I created a test page with an expand macro with a user mentioned within it. The user got notified once I published the page. The only way I know to retroactively notify users in your case is to copy the page and publish it again. I tested this in my 6.6+ instance and the user got the 2nd notification. If I…
