Resolved the issue: After upgrading, the plugin changes the Binding settings from Logout Binding = DISABLE to POST. After changing it back to DISABLE, the logout screen appears correctly now.

* Click the paperclip at the top of the page to display all page attachments. You can delete the attachment from there. * If you trying to delete the latest version of your attachment, you can't: You need to reupload a previous version to replace the current. * Click the paperclip at the top of the page to see all the…

@saiprakash_avulaAre you just trying to make sure confluence-users is added to their LDAP permissions automagically? On the active directory side, when a user is put into their category, they will inherit confluence-users (which is added in the Confluence global permissions) Setting up internal directories can be tricky…

You can add existing team calendars in the calendars page on your quick navigation. People would be able to see the content based on permissions. If you want this to be on a separate page in your navigation, try this: * Add the {team calendar macro on your desired page * Choose an existing calendar and then click OK * Edit…

While a bit snarky (ENFJ), I still scored a 7 :)

Web link option does not work?

How are your non JIRA users seeing the JIRA content on the Confluence page? Don't they need accounts to see the content? Our users are prompted to authenticate to JIRA when accessing this content on Confluence.

Ohhhhh! We have the table filter macro - it worked nicely: Never knew it did that!

Note: My setting does not set the default group once a user joins Confluence, that is handled upstream with the nested group examples.

@earl detect, This is more information on this topic (for JIRA): https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Is-there-a-limit-to-the-number-of-comments-that-can-be-added-to/qaq-p/176540 I assume Confluence does not have a limit however there can be performance impact on extremely large pages (like a release log page…

Note: I am on Confluence Server: SQL: * Confluence db > dbo.cwd_directory and note your Confluence Internal Directory id * SELECT *FROM [Confluence].[dbo].[cwd_user]WHERE directory_<strong>id=</strong><strong>'98305</strong>'AND active='T'My results only show the local admin account because everyone else is run from Active…

User Directories was such a pain for my first year. I had to chat with Atlassian support and SAML SSO vendor to figure this puppy out. We created confluence-users group in Active Directory. This group is marked "can use" in global permissions just like how you have it. We then have various groups nested within…

Did you create a service account during setup of the application?

***This worked for us; Not sure if it is your situation.*** March 30th we upgraded to 6.6.1 ---after we couldn't edit pages. Turning off collaborative editing allowed us to edit pages again however we lost the 'co authoring' piece. My sys admin resolved after looking into the following content.…

@lukasI ran into something similar last week where Merchandising could see all IT projects. The issue came down to their project using the default permissions scheme. Within there, "all logged in users" was listed in Browse projects. I would suggest making a new Permission Scheme, change "all logged in users" to at least…

Just tested on 6.6.1, seems the search results don't pick up deleted pages fairly quickly. Tested: I created a test page, searched for it on global search (found it), deleted the page, searched again, nothing showed. *This was all within 2 minutes* Would be interesting to see if your contents are still searchable tomorrow…

For the admin account: * Directory = Internal * Group membership = confluence-administrators and confluence-users Notes: * My User Directory configuration has Active Directory on top of Internal Directory. * We have an AD group called Confluence-administrators. Confluence-administrators is added in the global permissions.…

I am also in the beginning stages of blueprints. Wouldn't mind a "save space as blueprint" option in the admin console. Let the users develop in the UI vs coding.

Casey, For now, support has noted on my ticket to copy and paste tables. You would then be able to manually align the columns properly. I did note on the ticket that copying and pasting is not a fix and I would like the issue (which they could reproduce) to be looked into in a future release.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think you can attach files to a template. I am assuming agenda1 is an embedded file. Try this: * Try to put Agenda1-5 (documents) into a file list on the space. * In your template, type Agenda 1, but then make that a link to the file in the file list. * See if your links display as…

I have a troubleshooting space where each application is a knowledge base. I tend to put the category before the page title. If there is a complicated navigation, it would be Category - Sub Category - Page Title. Example in your case: +Store APIs +Store APIs - Orders 01 +Store APIs - Orders 01 - Create 01 +Store APIs -…

Confluence is a wiki on steroids. You can customize your environment with bolt-ons to be very technical or very simple depending on your business requirements.

@Julio Valdez Copy and paste should work. If the paste messes up your formatting, try to copy and paste the code. Note: Source editor will need to be enabled in Confluence administration. * Source page * Edit mode * Click <> top right * Copy code * Go into space tools / content tools / edit-create new template * Click <>…

Nancy, A file is a file regardless of what extension it is (don't upload an .exe). Drag and drop these items from your source into a Confluence file list or page. Are you trying to display these images in a specific way?

Anthony, I was a SharePoint admin now living in a lovely Confluence world. I am a very document centric person so I tried to bring those values into Confluence. As you learn, you will run into things you like and dislike because... well... the products are different with different goals. Tip: * Do everything Meg said noted…
