Hi @Stacey Shearn , not with the Atlassian Expand macro, but there is a free plugin called Refined Toolkit, which has a UI Expand macro with the property that lets you have it default-expanded (and the expand generally looks nicer). If you are the admin / can convince your admin then I recommend giving it a shot

@Tamsin Stirling I agree with @Max Foerster - K15t -- there is nothing out of the box you can use. There are plugins that give Confluence a 'Theme', which you could try (I use RefinedTheme for our company Intranet and it lets me do stuff like the below with layouts):
-
Hi @Simon Shaw Top right -- click your user profile and there should be a dropdown for Tasks. You can use the Task Report macro to do this onl pages of yours and set it to look at tasks assigned to you in all spaces Hope that helps
-
@Nicole Arney I am getting this issue too; have an open ticket with support (which is pending with me right now, as I have to get logging details) The workaround I had was to create JIRA filters (using Epics in my case), and using the Filter as the source for the Plan. Obvious downside is that you cannot create Epics from…

Hi @Julie Acker If you look in the Top Right of Confluence, there should be a user icon -- if you click that you should get a drop-down menu with "Watches" as one of the options. That lists all the pages that you are subscribed to see updates on -- if this is the cause then you can simply remove yourself as a watcher on…
-
Hi @Karen G Quinche If you have common attributes on your tickets, then you can include these in your query. Depending on how straightforward these commonalities are, you might be able to do in the basic JIRA search, otherwise the Advanced JIRA search is powerful (and I generally say it's good to learn; a lot like SQL). If…

@Brant Schroeder I used RefinedTheme on our Confluence server instance and it acts as our company Intranet. Went live with it a couple of months ago, and things have been really positive so far. We don't have a public space -- we require all people to log in (AD synced and SSO). As well as the space permission being set…

While this is late to the table, I came across this via Google when trying to solve a similar problem (Content by Label) was my fix, so thought I would post what I have done. I have a series of pages in a space that talk about projects in the firm (one project, one page and I only have one Excerpt macro per page). I wanted…
-
@Moyukh Mukherjee like @Andrea Mendez mentioned, there is a permission on the Space itself that allows you to set Restrictions, as Confluence breaks down Space permission to a reasonably-granular level. so your Confluence Administrator should grant you the "Pages - Restrict" permission.
-
Hi @Jan I think what you are looking for is best achieved via an add-on (app). We have blog post sliders, but that is via the RefinedTheme application. The native Confluence Blog Post macro didn't present content the way we wanted. I'm sure there is probably a way to achieve what you want without additional applications,…
-
@Irene Mauch if you are looking to get Confluence looking visually strong, then plugins are the best way. Like Refined Themes for Confluence for instance (I use this for my work Server Instance and my personal Cloud) and there is a demo site they have; there are other options. from different providers that I haven't tried.…
-
@Zak Laughton I never thought of that. Might start to introduce on some of our larger docs
-
@Kali Horton For my most common use-case in tech, I have found tying Confluence into the change governance process to be essential: if we introduce change, in the change approval process someone should be checking the relevant documentation is updated -- so it's more instilling the culture of change=updated documentation.…

I'm one month into using Confluence as a Company-wide intranet, and so far the reception has been really positive. We're starting relatively small: day one it was more of a static view, with a couple of people clued-up on how to post content. In the subsequent days I have been introducing more and more people to the true…
-
We use the EazyBI application here, as we found the visualisation from JIRA was limited & that we wanted to embed reports on our Confluence similar to you are mentioning. EazyBI is powerful, but does have a learning curve to it (and costs associated, being a plugin). It runs off of JIRA, but there are Confluence display…
-
Effectively, yes. Although if I had your requirement I would not use the @ mentions and just tell people to manage via restrictions -- so it wouldn't be updating the page permissions when you see a mention; people would directly change the page permission. Yes, I'm sure you will be able to run scripts -- fundamentally most…
-
It may help knowing what you are trying to achieve, but I'd re-iterate sentence one as your answer to "Is there any option...?": not that I know of, as that is the function of Restrictions Read up on how Restrictions work What you are effectively asking for is: anyone who can edit the page, has the right to invite others…
-
@Ilya S. is this just an isolated case? Or is it all Draw IO macros on your Confluence? If isolated, have you tried adding the macro again and looking at the Recently Viewed or searching for the Draw.IO plugin? The Universal Plugin Manager can give you some diagnostics if stuck & have a site-wide issue. Otherwise, may be…
-
@Evgeniy Buturlia not that I know of, as that is the function of Restrictions Without knowing the full context, I would suggest try to find the best method that can work around this Thoughts: * Sounds like you may want a Space for this if you follow the below * You could increase the people in Space Permissions & allow the…

I'm about to embark on my ACP-200 (Confluence Admin) journey. I've taken the ACP-200 Certification Prep, which was a good tone-setter for what I should expect (however I was hopeful for some more comprehensive resources accompanying it; I'll probably brief people in my firm directly than recommend they sign up for that…
-
@[deleted] even better! For us (in context Confluence as an Intranet launched last month for 300 people, with only 30 or so (currently) clued up on Draw IO): 90% of the issues will be fixed by merge (assuming it is intelligent and that people's drafts they never edited don't count to the total). Ask me in a year's time…
-
Hi @Keenan Johnson Still having this issue? If so: 1) I assume your Source Data is "Filter", not Projects or Boards (and that when you look at the filter in JIRA you can see the issues that are missing) 2) What have you set Include Issues Completed For x Days as? From my month of using Portfolio those are the two things…
-
@[deleted] thanks for the reply -- great to hear there is progress & potentially something in the works
-
@Steve Allen nothing that I am aware of, and when I was at the Atlassian Team tour in London there was a section about Portfolio on the upcoming roadmap. I would assume it is still in an invest mode as it was one of the applications in focus during the team tour, plus the fact they are running the new experience, and it…

@[deleted] also interested in this. In the interim, is there any thought towards highlighting / identifying / Locking (always a dangerous feature) items edited by someone else. First case today where someone came a cropper from editing separate pages with someone else. Managed to repair thanks to version history, at least.…
-
@Kesha Thill happy holidays to you too It's firm-wide, and we are about to launch in a couple of days. Progressing really well for what we want -- i.e. something that is development-light and won't require an army of people to maintain. The trade-off is that we don't have full control over all the features (some plugins…
-
@Kesha Thill, I am working with Valiantys ( @Seif Ben Abda) to make our Confluence into the firm Intranet. This will cover Blog-like content from departments, our employee directory (linchpin), floor plans (draw io), service desk JIRA forms (embedded via iframe -- would be nicer if there was a better way to do this as the…

Solved: After checking Confluence logs we saw that the Refined Theme plugin was blocking this Workaround was to create a Confluence page for this Form and then use the IncludePage macro in the Refined Theme page (instead of just creating Confluence content inline)
-
No solution but I have the same problem Is it me or is the feature request link broken? I'll try to find this and vote Ideally we'd like a "preserve email conversation history" checkbox that could be toggled case by case (I.e. Customer by customer)

There is a JIRA macro in Confluence: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/jira-issues-macro-139380.html In this you can either write JQL or load in an existing filter
