Hey @Josep Canet If I understand right, you have a series of meetings that you are logging actions (due and completed). In which case, using Tasks will give you the actions and ticking them completes them (note: with my PM hat, I often edit the page to tick the task as it seems to generate less email noise!). Then you…

Hey @Ionut First, I hope it all goes well! Here are a few things that I think will help: * Checking out some of the recent Community KB articles -- there was a drive last month to create some, so you will get some good inspiration from there (I created one myself, which covers most of my thoughts) * Getting participation…

Hi @Ann Knackstedt So I use a similar format to what you are describing, but I don't use checkboxes for attendees. I simply have a row in a table that contains the attendees and I put present in one line and apologies in another. I don't track any MI off of this (e.g. cross checking that everyone has attended at least one…

Hi @Danielle Rose One thing that we do is add a nested bullet under the task and @ mention the person who created the task when the task is complete. The nested bullet gets included as part of the task (in case you ever use Task Report macros). E.g. (a bit tricky without tasks as an option here... but hopefully makes…

Hi @Bill Rudy Yes, I realised after I answered that I gave you the wrong timer. I did find what you need and edited it in the post. Check out https://countingdownto.com/create-count-up
-
@Bill Rudy is the HTML macro with an iframe an option? If so, you could Google for an online countdown timer to include (e.g. this one, which N.B. I haven't tried). On our Confluence we use as an Intranet and use a few online tools to iframe the solution. Or, you know, cause an issue every day so it can always be a fixed…

Hi @Jason Dahl Out of the box you can't do this 100%, but there are plugins that achieve the full results. What you've described is a use-case I have for some top-level projects that we compile board reports from. How I achieve this: * Page Properties Report aggregating the table data (note: your headers have to be…

Hi @Frank Nägele Glad the first bit works :) In terms of attachments -- if you upload one with the same name, Confluence will version it and the updated picture will show. So with your import, ensure you keep the titles the same, and then Confluence will swap out the displayed image with the most recent version. (You can…
-
Hi @Frank Nägele If I understand correctly, you simply want to display the image on the page without the need to click on attachments? Easy to do -- you'll want to read the Display Files and Images guide. Hope that helps!
-
Glad some of it helped :) Good luck & let me know if you find another approach, as we share the same challenge!
-
Not a huge amount that I can add on top -- I've encountered the same issue and you do end up with content sitting outside of an ideal structure, which, you're right, does cause overhead. For me, when Confluence instances start to get large, I find the best thing to do is ensure people name things correctly, and to start…

Hi @Darren Joyce Page permissions inherit for view access: that is, if you cannot see the parent page, you cannot see the pages below. This can make management of permissions complex if you want to grant access to only certain pages within a tree (and impossible if these pages sit underneath pages you want to restrict).…

@Renee Louis are you able to share a screenshot of what you mean? Is it possible that the other lines also have a header style applied to them?
-
Hi @Renee Louis You need to use the Table of Contents macro in conjunction with headers. Check out the Confluence guide for this.

@Maggie Stearns building on what @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- has said, you could consider creating a space designed to be visible to outside users if you don't fancy running the risk of people miss-filing pages under the page visible to "outside-users". If have a space that explicitly states it's for Outside user access then…
-
Hi @Hoc Yes, it will consume a license if the group is Read-only. You can set up anonymous access for your site /space, which allows anyone to view, but if you want to specify certain people as read-only, then each of them needs a license.

<applause /> The unanswered one is neat. Feels a bit tucked away. In my mind it has more value being above the label and contributor list, so you can see it quicker. Would also be cool if it could contain a URL off to the unanswered questions queue for the thread (e.g. that example you gave having a see all option for…

@[deleted] that was a great read, thanks! Lots of ideas to incorporate. Going to explore some of those macros for hidden content. Really interested in the dialogue paths, and love that you made a Confluence-based RPG (+10 to the Ingenuity stat!).
-
Many thoughts on this one @Stuart Rolland As @[deleted] pointed out, there is the Jira Filter macro, which would bring your tickets into your Confluence. You'd need to devise some criteria for your filters (if you're using Applications/Software and Components then that will help with filtering), and probably incorporate…

Hi @Harpreet Matharu This isn't an answer for a built-in feature (as far as I know there isn't one), but I have had a similar situation to you. I also tried Forms for Confluence and didn't really get on with it. What I did find useful was ConfiForms by Vertuna. They've got some really good documentation examples and their…

Further reading that might help you is the Customise your Space guide for Cloud

Hi @Murali I do this a lot with a paid-for plugin Table and Filter Charts for Confluence. There I use page properties reports to create tables that I can apply filters on top of. A very useful add-on. I'm not aware of anything you can do RE filtering without an add on.

Hi @Bahman Sharzad There is a plugin (Melody) that might help understand if you've got underling memory issues And check out Atlassian's guide on troubleshooting. Hope these help you

Thanks for the read @Jimmy Seddon Make sure that every day includes some time for yourself ^ This is something that I've been bad at for personal life (but getting better); but I also think it applies to many of us during working hours. By this I mean spending time to work on the non-essential fun / pet projects that…

Amazing news. Insight and Jira are such a powerful combination -- having them work even closer will be great to see!

Hi @Gregory Muir It should just be a simple case of editing the page and removing the 'file' that sits below the multimedia macro. That grey box below isn't the video file, it's just a thumbnail visual for it that was auto-created when you uploaded it; the video will remain in the page attachments even if you remove any…
-
Hi @Fred Erick You can use the Include Page macro to show a complete page in another (the security settings will inherit from the source page, so bear that in mind). There is also the ability to Move pages, but that isn't copying -- it's straight-up moving elsewhere. If what you need to do isn't all or nothing (e.g. you…
-
Hi @Rebecca Brooks You could consider having the Blog Post macro on the page, and use labels to identify the unique posts you want to show on the page. Alternatively, you could use the Include Page macro to source the content of a blog into a page (but that's manual for each blog, so not really a great idea). But…
-
Hi @sara.s that Confluence link won't work for people outside of your organisation, so cannot see the problem. Maybe add some screenshots so we can see what problem you are getting. Unless the below guess helps: It could be that the table has been removed in a draft -- if you see the table when viewing the page, but when…

@Monique vdB I'd reckon the following would be useful for notification management * Having a (probably behind-the-scenes) ID for each notification so that my email notifications can contain a hyperlink to the exact notification alert that resulted in the email (probably a large portion of the time I'd be looking to just…
