@charitha.r Hi, there's no such feature in the app. Not sure it's even possible. But you can raise a feature request in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/API

Hi, @Chris Davis hope you're having an awesome day. Jira Cloud for Outlook app (built by Atlassian) has a feature called "Send to Issue" You can send a specific email to and issue of choice, including attachments Then, in the issue itself, you'll find your attachments in the "Attachments" of an issue and your email card…
-
Hi @Sid Lakkundi ! You can't "download" it necessarily (meaning there's no installation file or anything like that). But you can add it to your Outlook from Microsoft AppSource by clicking "Get it now" on the add-in's AppSource listing page.
-
@Marie-Blanche Jalette Hi! Unfortunately, Jira Cloud for Outlook currently doesn't support shared mailboxes. There's a public issue that you can watch and vote for. UPD: the support for shared mailboxes was added (thx @Vitalii Saienko ) to Jira Cloud for Outlook and API-186 has been closed.
-
Hi @Musleh Farid ! Hope you're having a good day! Atlassian built an Outlook add-in that has sending emails to Jira issues as one of its main features. You can open any email in your Outlook inbox, and use Jira Cloud for Outlook app's "Send to Issue" functionality. You can choose to or to not attach your email attachments…
-
@Yvonne O' Leary We once conducted a community post (a bit outdated now) describing the feature set of Jira Cloud for Outlook. TL;DR: Jira Cloud for Outlook searches for issue keys in an email, giving you context info about issues w/o reaching out to Jira. In a task pane (sidebar) you can create issues, transition, change…
-
Hi @Krista Dyer! There's Jira Cloud for Outlook, Jira Cloud for Excel, Jira for Teams, and many more apps built by the Atlassian team. The full list of Atlassian integrations with other products can be found at integrations.atlassian.com.
-
Hi @Yvonne O' Leary ! The first one you linked says "by Atlassian.com". That means it's made by Atlassian. It's also 100% free with no features hiding behind a paywall. The other one is built by a third-party.
-
Hi, @jmercado ! Don't know about the other two, but Jira Cloud for Outlook (Official) is the one made by Atlassian.
-
Hi @Jordan Wilkes ! Max here, one of the developers behind this add-in. Hope you're doing well! Lemme explain this real quick: as the prompt says, Microsoft dropped support for IE11 and so why would Atlassian support a browser that was deprecated by its creator, right? Next, as you're on Outlook 2016 which is not that old,…
-
Hi, @Aaron Wilson a couple of things I'd suggest: * try installing other add-ins on the old (like on your screenshot) Outlook desktop UI and check if they work * try the new Outlook UI, and open Jira Cloud add-in from the meatball menu. * try the Outlook web app: navigate to outlook.live.com, log in, and while having a…

@Aya AlJboor No additional purchases required at any time. The reason you see that banner is because this app relies on Jira and Jira as a product has a paid version.
-
Hi @Aya AlJboor , to integrate your Jira with Outlook you can try the Jira Cloud for Outlook app. It's free and built by Atlassian team. If you like it, you can try any other integration app built by Atlassian listed on integrations.atlassian.com.
-
Hi @Connie Miranda! I hope you're doing well. Here's what I can suggest doing: * visit your Atlassian account at id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps * check if you have Jira Cloud for Outlook listed there and if so, click "Remove access" * go to your Outlook client and open click either of three Jira Cloud for Outlook…

@[deleted], there's an Outlook add-in requirements page in Microsoft's dev documentation that states If the client is configured to connect with POP3 or IMAP, add-ins will not load. So, if you use POP/IMAP then neither Jira Cloud for Outlook nor any other Outlook add-in will not load in a task pane.
-
@[deleted] Regardless of Windows/Mac you probably have the "Get add-ins" button in your Outlook desktop app which is going to open Microsoft AppSource in your default browser. Next, search for "Jira Cloud for Outlook (Official)". It will require some kind of Microsoft account to log in (for me both organization account and…
-
Hi, @[deleted] Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in's usage is not limited by 365 online accounts. Furthermore, this add-in can be used with using a work/school account as well as a Microsoft account on a variety of platforms (including Outlook web, desktop, and mobile apps). You can check details on Jira Cloud for Outlook's…
-
Hi @Nicole Downes ! You don't need any additional licenses for Jira Cloud for Outlook to work. If users have access to particular issues in Jira itself they should have access to those issues from within the Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in. Consider: * If users have access to issues in Jira but not in the add-in they need to…
-
@Bianca Talarico one other option I can suggest trying is to go to the Microsoft Edge WebView2 page and install it. Then your Office suite should use it as a default web view instead of IE. And if that's the case, you should be able to complete the authentication process.
-
Hi, @Vedavyas Konidena thanks for your question! If you have time tracking fields set up for issues of a particular issue type, you are able to manage original and remaining estimates from within Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in. In particular, you can set time tracking fields when creating an issue from the "Create issue"…
-
Hey, @davidwashburn thanks for reaching out and for your feedback. Things to address here: though there were no major features added to the app in the last few months, we constantly improve stability and performance. Regarding UI/UX, we're probably not going to use Atlassian-style UI elements. Let me explain: The add-in is…
-
Hello @Ed Bean! Thank you for your question. Re: They have read these permissions and the assumption, I’m afraid, is that these permissions will be used indiscriminately. I believe that much of what’s listed here is boilerplate. Are there members of your team who would be willing to speak to exactly what data the plugin is…
-
Hi @Jing Jin ! Currently, Jira Cloud for Outlook works with Jira Cloud only. You can vote for API-97 if you want this add-in to support Server/Data Center in the future.
-
Hi @Mayuri Sathe ! Jira Cloud for Outlook does the thing you're looking for! One of its main features is called "Send to issue". If you want to attach an email to the issue search for that issue in an input: After you pick up an issue (whether it's a story or epic or any other issue type) you'll see that issue's details…
-
Hi @robert Maldonado! From your screenshots, it seems like you're using Jira Cloud. If that's so, I'd suggest trying Jira Cloud for Outlook which is an Outlook add-n developed by Atlassian.
-
Hi @Stefan Höltker! So, you can perform two major actions over emails in the app: * "send to issue" / "attach to issue" * paste email content to the issue description while creating an issue from within your email In the first case, the app treats emails as documents/files, and because of that when being sent or attached…
-
Hi @Walter Mobach ! Jira Cloud for Outlook is just an add-in running in the Outlook environment. From the situation you've described, it seems like you have restrictions related issues with Microsoft and that's something we, as add-in's developers, have no control over. I suggest you reaching Microsoft support in order to…
-
Hi, @Hanna_Kukharenka . Actually, it used to say 'Free' some time ago, but now it says what it says because this add-in relies on Jira which has paid plans. The add-in itself is completely free.
-
@Dan Rosager It's not completely clear what's going wrong with the add-in in your case. Could you please send us feedback via the feedback form in the app so we can have a ticket with a conversation history without spamming on the community post? That would be super helpful.
-
Hi @Dan Rosager ! Did you try reinstalling it?
