Hello @Earl McCutcheon About the clarifications, We are having Jira + Agile Plugin in one server and just a Jira Service Desk in other server.

@Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ Thanks for your help. I was able to connect PostgreSQL 9.6 to Jira 6.3.13 and it was successful and we are now trying to test all the conditions before trying out in production environment. I would like to share what I did to connect, I replaced a postgresql driver in lib folder(Installation…
-
@Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ So there no way we can connect to PostgreSQL 9.6 . Because we have done a migration from Oracle 12 C to PostgreSQL 9.6. And we are upgrading Jira from 6.3.13 to 7.13.2 which is now currently using Oracle 12 C. We are also moving Jira to AWS. Any suggestions on how we can approach to this…

@Michael Arndt Resolution should be captured when issue should be moved to last status which in your case is Done. Resolution screen is shown when you transition the issue to Done? Do you know an option called where is my field ? Using that find the resolution and it will show you where and all its available.
-
@Sharmila Chanda You need to have Jira System Administrator Global Permission. Ask your Jira admin to add you into the jira-administrators group then you will get all the admin privileges.
-
@Neil Shah You need to configure Issue type screen scheme First define a screen and add a fields that you intend to be part of change request. After that associate that screen with an issue type in that particular project. You will get a clear understanding about these when you refer the link that I have embedded above.
-
@RAJENDHRAN R You can do that easily using Screens and Screen schemes. Just create all the screens with the fields you want and add them to the screen scheme of your project. Then you have to go to the particular workflow and edit it and associate the respective screens to the transitions. May be you can start here from…
-
@Michael Arndt You might want to take a look at this documentation about Workflow Conditions As @Jack Brickey rightly mentioned restrict those transitions for Project manager group or role only to execute that particular transitions with Workflow Conditions.
-
@Gert Kornet I think that might work and you will get all the available issues, components and all other configurations in the project.

Hello @Hassan Arif Every Atlassian Application installation comes with a Admin account set up process. I wonder how that step is missing out for you. Please recheck on the installation procedure and try again, because without admin account creation there is no way you can login to the application.
-
Hello @Michael Arndt I feel like whoever configured the workflow has not included the Resolution on the transition screen, because the resolution field is always required it should only be presented during a transition or they haven't configured a post function for the Done status to set a resolution. Generally what you…
-
@Hassan Arif That's where the problem is you should have setup the admin account in installation process. Try reinstalling the application and setup admin account, after installation is completed use those credentials while logging to the application. Pls follow this documentation…
-
@Hassan Arif Can you tell me which userid/password you are using - Is it the one you gave while setting up admin account or Atlassian account details ?
-
@Hassan Arif If you have already installed then head to Settings --> Applications --> Versions & licenses there find the jira core in license key paste the license that you have generated there.
-
@Hassan Arif Try generating a New Evaluation license from your Atlassian account and paste in the license region while installing the Software. That should work and you can complete the setup process.
-
Hello @Cristian Ionescu Yes you can have a same transition re used for issue moving to different statuses. As a example I am attaching this screenshot for your reference. You can see that Close transition is used twice in the workflow.

@Arjun_Tech About the Email Notifications Settings in Confluence you might want to take a look at this documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/email-notifications-145162.html The documentation also explains why you are getting those notifications and you can unsubscribe from those.

Hello @Greg Roberts You can make your cloud trail subscription as active in the Administration --> Billing Overview and you can provide your billing details and upgrade to a paid subscription. Anyway Atlassian sends you a mail before the free trail ends and you can go through the mail and it also consists of a link wherein…
-
@Adonis Hajdari It depends on what privileges your customers should have. You can start with providing view permission and you should take a call whether to provide your customers with add or delete pages, blogs, comments and attachments permissions respectively. Refer to the link that I sent and you will get a clear…
-
@Nathan_Swartzendruber As @Joe Pitt rightly mentioned we can't control the issue numbering in JIRA.
-
@Adonis Hajdari You can achieve that with Space Permissions. All you have to do is for the Customer Space provide necessary Anonymous Space Permissions and for the rest Spaces don't provide any Anonymous Space Permissions. You can refer this link and can easily configure the necessary…

@Kenneth Ord Sorry I could not find any document stating for 10 years or 50 years. But what Atlassian assures is As long as you have an active subscription the data will be retained by Atlassian. If you don't have an active subscription, after 60 days from the subscription expiry date they will not retain the data.
-
Hello @Ross Maye Can you check your system whether JRE is installed or not. If installed check in the command prompt which version of Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment is there. If the output is showing something similar to this "build 1.8.0_201-b09" or some build version in 1.8 is fine. Then Confluence should work fine. And…
-
Hello @Kenneth Ord After you have been unsubscribed, Atlassian retains your data for 15 days (for evaluation sites) or 60 days (for paid subscription sites). About data storage and retention policy for any Atlassian Products you will get most of your queries answered in this link.…

@Gert Kornet This app is not available for jira cloud. And i think there is now way out for you to copy comments between projects.
-
Hello @Gert Kornet As far as I know there is no straight forward method to copy components between projects and components cannot be added automatically. But you can use Clone Project for Jira plugin to copy the components to other projects. Click the link to know more about plugin…
-
@Andy Heinzer We are using internal jira directory only and and in the source site these users do not have 'jira-software-users' group membership. After I migrate data then these customers are getting added to 'jira-software-users'.
-
Hello @Thomas Murray Have you checked your firewall rules of the host machine - incoming rule has a 8080 port entry?
-
Hello @Gaurav Goel First you must have integration between Jira and Git Lab and you need to configure triggers in the Advanced workflow configurations. Go through this link and you will get what you are looking for https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/configuring-workflow-triggers-802592811.html
