Thanks for keeping me honest here, @Jon The ticket is in progress right now.

Sorry for the lack of reply here! We shipped without that functionality, but someone was working on completing it as their 20% time. I'll find out and get back to you

Hey Jon, I share your annoyance with this sidebar scrolling issue. Really like the suggestions about making the activity feed filter sticky, we haven't discussed that. To make life a little easier for everyone, I think we're going to add tabs back to the sidebar, which allow you to move between the file tree, the activity…

We do hear a bit about this issue, and are considering bringing it forward, but we've got some other known asks that appear to be more common (like improvements to status, improvements to the file tree, scrolling on the sidebar, etc) that we're going to tackle first.

There are a few different reasons these bugs are appearing, and we've been picking them off one by one over the last couple of months. The biggest remaining cause is simply that the PR itself is so large that we're not able to process the entire thing on the backend before it times out. If you're still seeing this issue,…

thanks for the follow up, @Eugene Husak Right now single-file-mode is a way for us to improve handling really large PRs, but we're circling back to start virtualizing the diffs so that it is no longer necessary to only show a single file at a time.
-
I can totally appreciate how annoying that is. A bug connected to some backend improvements we made required us to roll it out back while we fix the guts of our git operations. We're hoping to have this fixed in the coming weeks (barring any surprises!) Thanks for your feedback Rolandas!

Yes, of course, we're all on Bitbucket :) Here is the best information I can share. We're working on a new PR experience that you are probably using if you've just started on Bitbucket. The next 2-3 months will probably be mostly about addressing primary usability issues, but we're also getting ready to start some new…

Hey @olivier.butler , Bitbucket PM here. We don't yet have the concept of a 'review' which packages feedback yet, but we're getting ready to work on it. The diffing between commits is a little further out on the roadmap, but we're making some big investments in other workflow improvements that you should be seeing soon.…
-
We're actually planning on launching those improvements in the next 6 weeks! We'll make it possible for you to select side-by-side as a default, to ignore whitespace for the session, to set your tab width, and to manage your diff add/subtract colors (in case you have red-green colorblindness).
-
thanks for the feedback, John. I can see why it would be useful to disable that functionality in certain circumstances. I'll give this some thought and put it into our backlog
-
Coming soon!
-
This is near the top of our list!

Tasks will be launched as they work on the old PR experience in 1.5 weeks :) We will eventually move towards resolvable discussions, but its months away.
-
Hey @sgautrin Sorry to hear that you're still feeling like this new experience is trailing the old one. We're working hard, and as the PM taking over from @Alastair Wilkes , I'm constantly reviewing our feedback channels to prioritize what will have the biggest impact. We're going to be finishing the Tasks functionality in…

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look at this!

Hey Friends, Based on feedback from our users, we decided to not deprecate that groups management v1 API endpoint, instead making it GDPR compliant. Cheers, Jarred

Hey Morten, I'm a product manager on Bitbucket. I'm sorry this has gone without further response. Could you follow up with me on email? Would love to talk to you about it. jcolli2@atlassian.com Jarred
-
Hey Praneet, That's right. 2.0/teams/uuid/members will not be deprecated. re: Groups, Yes. User management should be done through some kind of SCIM / SAML solution. Jarred

Hey Praneet, Thanks for pointing this out. The correct guide is https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/bitbucket/bbc-gdpr-api-migration-guide/. Will update the other one to reflect the changes more accurately!
