Hi @Maia M , Currently it is not possible to use "dynamic" spaces in automations, unfortunately.
-
Maybe this happens when users edit each others comments? This might be one possibility.
-
I agree that the document timestamp can be seen as a workaround. However, at least in Confluence Cloud, document ids will change if you export and then import content into another Confluence instance. That means an old PDF printout will not cross-reference with e.g. a new backup copy of your Confluence content. One thing…
-
In Confluence Cloud, you have very limited options to influence the layout. I would not know how to put a border around a page, as the general page layout is controlled by Confluence itself.
-
We offer this on Confluence Cloud with a macro: Document Metadata for Confluence Cloud . You can also include the last edit date/timestamp. This might actually help you on DC: Instead of focusing only on pageid, use the last edit timestamp to identify the exact version?
-
This might be caused by the Confluence index not being up to date. You can ask Atlassian support to reindex your site, and then check if it works for all pages.
-
That's strange. I don't think I can help further.
-
The problem is that user accounts are stored in the US. This is personal information, and the information you'd normally be required to store in the EU.
-
Hi @Ankit kharola Most likely you need to add external fetch permissions: https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/manifest-reference/permissions/#external-permissions
-
Most likely you can't export custom emoji.
-
Atlassian is changing the interface for macro properties. Unfortunately I sometimes have the same experience. Up to now reloading the page or using a different browser has helped.
-
Hi @stevan , Maybe it's the "name" field in the webhook. A name field is not defined in the documentation.
-
I think I understand your problem. The problem is that Atlassian sees the users as non-public and denies them access. The only remedy I know of is that the user logs out to view Jira, but that is a hassle.
-
Hi @Paul Thorndyke , As I understand, the Confluence user is not anonymous. The Confluence user is known to Atlassian, and has no access to Jira. I believe there is a difference between public access (i.e. for everyone) and anonymous access (users with no Atlassian account/login active).
-
Not sure, but it looks like you are not looking at the Confluence storage format, but at the rendered html format.
-
Atlassian should do this asap.

A user is a Confluence user. Currently all addons for Confluence are priced per Confluence user. So if you have 100 Confluence users, you'd need to pay for 100 addon users. This pricing model is determined by Atlassian.
-
It's free for up to 10 users, and then depends on the user count, you can see the pricing here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217765?tab=pricing&hosting=cloud

Hi @Frank Cortes , We make Document Control for Confluence, which allows you to assign reviewers, lock and sign documents in Confluence. Some of our customers use this to manage documents for audits including in pharma, banking, aerospace and other sectors. Feel free to ask us for help.
-
Hi @Enrico Di Cesare EXT , you can use https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-space/#api-spaces-get and you must specifiy the space key as a query parameter.
-
Strange, maybe you have to open a support request with Atlassian: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
-
Hi @kenneth.ouedraogo , You need to go to space settings -> content -> restrictions. Click on the lock icon of the page in the list of pages. You will be redirected to another page, where at the bottom you can click on the lock icon again and the page restrictions will be removed.
-
Hi @kenneth.ouedraogo , If you can't access a page in a space, you can ask the space administrator to allow access for you.
-
Hi @Colin Matteson , Unfortunately Confluence databases offer no API access. This means currently you can't build an automation like this.
-
Hi @adi.bengaldotan , This is not built into Confluence, and I don't know of a simple to use app which has this feature.
-
Indeed, databases miss an API functionality and a simple query language.
-
Most likely the following happens: * after preview you save your html * when rendering within Confluence, the html gets sanitized and not everything gets rendered. * in preview everything gets rendered again
-
Unfortunately I don't know of any plans to introduce this feature. At this moment, Confluence databases offer no API access, so I don't think third party apps can offer this feature.
-
Hi @Colin Hewson , No, you can't protect individual elements of a database. Only the whole database (page) has access restrictions.
