Hmmm ... 🤔 You'd have to be very strict with how descriptions are written and you wouldn't be able to enforce that a Description filled in by someone has an exact value within a subset. That tied to RegEx not being available for JQL searches I can't see this working as a solid way of filtering, given the scenario you…

What would you envision using as filter criteria?

Hello @Francis_Pelland I can confirm. The flagged field is a 'locked' system field. Consider it's value options to be only boolean: ON/OFF
-
Hello @Daniel Beman Out of the box, Jira only offers 2 tier cascading-select custom fields. Sadly, the vendors that support extensions for this use case don't yet offer their plugins for Cloud. Soon 🤞

It's next on the list. I've done all the circuit training sessions, boxing, pilates, kettle bells, TRX, ...

Any card game in particular? Big fan of card games and every culture/country has it's own quick versions of family card games :D

Back in the day I remember reaching levels around 90+. My grandma finished the game though 😆

Hello @Jules I see you posted this in the next-gen channel. For next-gen specifically, you can only access this feature through the global issue navigation. Steps: Visit the issues and filters page by click on 'Issues and Filters' in the global view of navigation (if you are in a project, first click on the Jira logo on…

Hello @Ram Malapati I would recommend a labeling system to tag each of your issues (during detection, fix or resolution) and then filtering based on that. What are you currently using to discern between these root causes?
-
Hello @Darya_Koyfman How are these links created? Through a custom field?
-
Hello @CliffordP This is a known bug in the new editor experience. The bug you see here is slightly different from one already reported but will be fixed through the same path. You can follow it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72036

Bewitched!!! time travel moment

You can't use variables out of the box, no. Scriptrunner allows you to use additional JQL functions or to make your own. For instance, you could create your own latestUnreleasedVersion() function that would always return, hum, the latest unreleased version. Check out the documentation.
-
Hello @Elena Swaddipong The custom field type you are after is not supported by Next-gen projects. You can consider opening a feature request for its support here as a product suggestion: https://support.atlassian.com/contact

Ah! You are quite right 🤯I have been driven by two opposing factors here: * the above link states the following in the information panel at the top: Using the classic Scrum and Kanban projects? You're in the right place! * next-gen Kanban projects DO allow Sprints to be run However, you are right. Classic Kanban projects…

Also, if it's the roadmap feature you benefit most from, you might be interested in peaking into Jira Portfolio :)

Hello @Isabele Romanini Carvasan This issue has been previously discussed and solved in this thread: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Burndown-on-custom-status/qaq-p/303998 😄

Hello @[deleted] You might be able to have multiple sprints running in parallel in a Kanban project, as is possible with Scrum projects. See the documentation for more information: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/using-parallel-sprints-797737030.html That should allow you to create a split between ready,…
-
Hello @Ana Schnepf This is one of those scenarios that you can manage in a myriad of ways, depending on how you want to track the ongoing work as it flows through your teams (one ticket that flows or one for each step, for example). In terms of support, you can create multiple parallel sprints and open/close them…
-
Hello @Jennifer Greyling To answer your question: How can I make them go away? On next-gen Kanban boards, the issues that reach the DONE column will 'disappear' after 2 weeks. This is not configurable at this point in time. The alternative, to gain a little more control, is to add sprints.
-
Hello @Alejandro_DOMINGUEZ The escalation of a ticket opened within your company's service desk can only be driven internally. Atlassian is indeed the software provider but its use falls in the customer's hands.
-
Hello @Ramesh Babu I'd go with something along the lines of the following: * specify project * specify epiclink (Epic's key) * specify issuetype A hypothetical scenario would be: * project = TEST * epiclink = TEST-1 * issuetype = BUG Resulting filter: project = TEST AND epiclink = TEST-1 AND issuetype = BUG
-
Hello @b.tahir As you point out, a limited access project to which a user has been granted access and admin rights should allow them to see the project board. There might be something slightly off with your configuration. Can you share a screenshot of your project's access (People) configuration page?
-
👍thanks for the tips. Have you structured the session in specific chunks? I'm thinking of something along the following lines: * Intro - Kick-off the fun * Mini team experimentation * Planning * Execution * Demo * Celebration + informal retro 🤔

I can't say, to be honest. I haven't used Actionable Agile before. However, the docs presented don't give insights into how it can best be leveraged. I would assume it will be driven by JQL, at which point it becomes purely a matter of personal taste. Project split vs backlog managed-split

This looks good! Have you tried out the Trello article before?

I must say I like the concepts presented. I might take some learnings to my team. Thanks for sharing @John Funk

That's great! Indeed, a shame it is publicly available. I'll take a peek into the townhall recording. Thanks 🚀
