Hi Jessica, We don't currently have a simple way to migrate Atlas projects and goals from one instance to another - apologies for the additional effort that this may cause you. As you suggest, the most natural next step for us will be to allow importing from csv, which is in our backlog and will hopefully be a feature that…

Hi Sing, I can't answer this for other Atlas users but I can answer it for Atlassian. Our view is that there's no right answer, and the best approach will depend on the nature of each project. For instance, for smaller projects we might have a single Atlas project that runs from when the project kicks off and has a target…

Hi Sing, Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the friction this authorization screen creates. We have indeed built some of the Atlas integrations with Confluence and Jira in. a manner that can cause this message to appear. Historically, using a method that requires cross-site cookies didn't cause this problem, but…

Hi Lauren, As per Matthew's excellent response above - this issue is due to cross-site cookies, and typically due to Safari's strong stance in blocking them. We're actively looking into solutions to this problem but alas for now you will need to re-authorise unless you change your cookie settings. Thanks, Mark

Hi Sing, thanks for the great question. Atlas doesn't currently have a permission model for access to projects and goals. We do give Admins more workspace settings, and users can set individual projects to be private, but right now that's it. Obviously we do want to add some greater level of permissions as we continue to…

Hi Christina, Great feedback! We wanted to keep the goal emoji constant to make it easy to understand at a glance whether you're looking at a goal or a project, and to help communicate the status of the goal. There are probably other ways we could do this whilst still letting users personalise goals, so this is definitely…

Hi Dani, Thanks for your feedback. I'm not quite sure what you mean by creating a task within a project, as you can't create tasks in Atlas. To move Atlas projects from pending to another state, you need to be a project owner or contributor. Then, the project status lozenge at the top of the project details view should…

Hi Erik, Thanks for the feedback - those are both great questions! As we've rolled out Atlas we've kept the permissions model very simple for now, but it's clear that we need to add much more fine-grained permissions to prevent scenarios like the one you experienced above. I'll work with the team to get this prioritised.…

Hi Nutsa, it depends on whether or not your organisation uses Atlassian Access. If your org does, the fields should be synced from your identity provider via Access into the user profiles. The dropdown then reflects whats in those profiles. If your org doesn't use Access, the Department field is user defined on the user…

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your question! We don't currently have a quick way to duplicate projects, but templating is something we really want to do in the medium term. We'd likely have both some pre-defined templates as well as the ability to create your own. To help us best meet your needs - what sort of things would you…

Hi Nick, Glad you're enjoying the emails! I assume you're referring to the integrations we have via our smart links, as outlined in https://intercom.help/atlas-by-atlassian/en/articles/6182947-produce-reports-and-integrate-with-other-apps-using-smart-links Here's a list of the smart link integrations that we've built out…
