Emilee Atlassian Team

  • @Kevin Rex Hi there and thanks for coming to community with your question. I'm an Atlassian on the Jira team and can answer some of your questions and point you to some documentation. First off, the good news is that nothing about the products is really changing. JWM sits upon the Jira platform and your data and projects…
  • @Andy Gladstone As a big fan of TDF, I love this analogy for a team! Many ppl don't realize how much of a team effort cycling is but the team needs many different skill sets to accomplish the goal they've set out. Recommend Tour Unchained on Netflix if anyone wants to learn more about the team's efforts. @Chrissy…
  • I'm sooo loving these creative team names!! Thank you to the 6 teams so far for participating! If you haven't registered your team yet, what are you waiting for?
  • @Huwen Arnone _Deiser_Devoteam_ Great questions! For the marketing award, we're most interested in seeing examples of marketing teams using Jira to organize work. That could also include an example of how someone has helped a marketing team use Jira, but we want to specifically see a use case for one of the many different…
  • Hi @Douglas Bain thanks for sharing your feedback and concern. I'll reach out to you directly so we can get a few more details to understand your license.
  • Oh hello there! I'm super excited to get this group going and hear from other marketers about what you do and how you like to work. I've been around the Atlassian Community for some time now and love that we a public place to talk about #allthingsmarketing What type of marketing do you do? I've worn many different hats…
  • @G subramanyam Thanks for calling that out! I've changed the setting and it should be accessible now.
  • @Juho Korhonen In order for it to appear as a linked card you can't add the title first. See how I do it in this quick video for that same link. This isn't quite a smartlink feature but more of a what we call a link card. If you copy and paste a link to a Confluence page or a Jira issue, that will appear in the same way…
  • Hi @Elena Koleva _Nemetschek Bulgaria_ Happy to engage - you brought up an interesting topic! It's a shame that there is so little influence that an IC can make in order to improve the psychological safety of a team (if you are a reader who feels differently, please chime in!). While I haven't run every play that I…
  • @Tomislav Tobijas Yikes!! Thanks for pointing out. I've updated the setting so should be working now.
  • @Elena Koleva _Nemetschek Bulgaria_ Great post!! I wholeheartedly agree that psychological safety is super important to feel like you can perform at your best. This sentence about feeling stuck and unmotivated definitely hit home as I've been there myself on teams. Your questions about how to check the psychological safety…
  • Hi @Todd Barner , I think that if you can preview the form then it should be live. Try clicking on the share button next to the preview. If should give a url link that you can embed in a Confluence page. Also, for more help - take a look at this documentation page which shows step by step how to do this. Hope that helps!

  • It's not too late to still review! Still looking for more reviews for JWM and Atlas. Thanks everyone!
  • Hi @RamR Thanks for sharing your feedback on the Teams app and everything you can do with it. If you haven't already, please consider sharing your feedback on the Marketplace listing for this product as well!
  • Thanks everyone! I've sent links to everyone that has responded so far (except @Dana A - need your email :) And to respond to @alison.eyring point which is very valid, there are many different ways that companies can solicit reviews for these sorts of things. An organic one that you are mentioning is definitely the top…
  • It's the last few days to earn this badge! If you haven't written a discussion post, make sure you do so by Friday! For everyone else - the badge will be applied automatically once you meet the criteria listed. If you don't see it appear, let me know so I can look into it.
  • @Mary Agueros Exactly! I'm doing it now to make it easy to find and track a large google sheet. I can quickly look at the embedded file without going too deep.
  • Hi @Sidar Yarar , Can you give us your best practices first to help spur the conversation? It's helpful to set the example so people have an understanding of what type of best practices you are looking for :)
  • @Prabhu Palanisamy _Onward_ I'm not sure of the answer to this but I think it's a good question to ask and I'm curious of the answer to this too. I'd recommend also asking in the JWM product group in case there is someone there that can help out.
  • Thanks @A A Ron Geister _Trundl_ for the additional insight into how you use JWM with your other tools in Finance. Looks like you are able to do a lot to control the processes within Jira and I wonder if the JWM team would be interested in your use case. For your marketing use case that you want to try out with forms,…
  • I second your sentiment @Laurie Sciutti ! I also love the forms built into JWM. We use it to have other teams fill out requests that they want us to work on. That way, it doens't get in the way of current work and we can get the basic details to see who would be best to follow up and scope out the work. Definitely saves us…

  • Hey @A A Ron Geister _Trundl_ Thanks for sharing how you use JWM for finance teams. This is a use case that I don't see very often so I'm curious about what other tools you have in your arsenal that you connect with JWM. Automating off-boarding is definitely a great example of using the tools to simplify processes and…
  • @Amanda Barber JWM is a great way to track more structure work flows. For simple work tracking and managing, Trello is great. My team mostly uses Trello as well. But it doesn't have some of the mapping of dependencies and and tasks that can be linked to other teams. All depends on what your team needs are!
  • @Pauline Robert I'm curious to learn about the results of your survey and how you're finding people to take it. Please share it here once you're done! Have you and your team taken a look at what Atlassian has done previously as part of their State of Teams report?
  • Haha nice gif @Merveille Umulisa and welcome to the group. I hope we can help educate you more about how to use the tools together for work management. Besides Trello, what other Atlassian tools are you familiar with?
  • So glad you find them so useful @Stephanie Simons . The team is working on the next iterations of Smart Links and we're all ears if there are use cases you want us to look at.
  • Ah that's such a great gif ❤️ @Manon Soubies-Camy and what a unique way to use Trello. I wouldn't have considered it for asset tracking like you do with your balls of yarn :)
  • I'll kick us off here! I'm Emilee and I've been a long-time Atlassian, jumping around different teams in marketing. If you're an Atlassian Partner or Marketplace app developer, you may remember me from my days engaging the Marketplace community :) Now, I'm on our Work Management Solutions Marketing teams working on bring…
  • @John Dunkelberg There are migration assistants for Jira and Confluence available to help you move from DC to Cloud as quickly and painlessly as possible. You can learn more about where to start in our migration hub here.
  • @Bob Sovers Ah yes that is true for our in-product marketplace. It's already filtered down to cloud options to make it easier for customers like you to find relevant apps. You should see an options for "Sort" which will allow you to change how the results are presented to you. By selecting newest, you can also see the most…
