Hi @Shubham Vishwmabhar , Welcome to the community. Please follow this guide for the installation https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/installing-jira-data-center-938846870.html

Hi @Christian Hoffmann , Welcome to the community. What errors in the logs do you see?
-
Hi @Matt Holden , Welcome to the community. Site-Admins always have access and are licensed to all products in a site, so you can't remove them from JSM.
-
Don't worry, you're welcome. If you give anonymous access, anyone who can access the Confluence, can access that space. There is no protection from Confluence side. But you can use page restrictions (the lock on the top of the page) to limit access to specific pages. But if you are behind your firewall and Confluence is…
-
Yes, anonymous access allows everyone who can access the confluence to see the pages without logging in. This article describes how to set it up. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/setting-up-public-access-156.html
-
I'm still not sure if I got it right, but if you just leave your confluence behind the firewall, in general only employees of your company can reach it, right? So you can just turn on anonymous access to the public spaces. Then everyone who can reach confluence can access this space without license. Only users that should…
-
If you want to run two instances of confluence, you can do so, but you need a license for each one. But why do you want to.move outside the firewall if access should be limited to the company.
-
Hi @Crystal Baker , The cloud backup is a complete backup, so it will overwrite all existing data in your data center instance. Check out this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-from-jira-cloud-to-server-applications-938846963.html
-
So you want to move the confluence to somewhere outside the firewall (but not yet into cloud) and the public spaces should sill only be accessible only for the company? Why do you do that, doesn't make so much sense to me at first glance. Or should the public spaces be public to everyone? Then you can just move to a server…
-
Hi @MollyW , What do you mean by externalize? Do you consider migrating to cloud?
-
Please raise an issue with the Atlassian support here https://support.atlassian.com/contact If that is a known issue, they might have a solution.
-
The load balancer is for incoming traffic only, the outbound proxy is used to access the internet check with your network team if you need an proxy to access the internet and if the server can reach internet at all..
-
Maybe you have to configure an outbound proxy. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/configure-an-outbound-proxy-for-use-in-jira-server-247857187.html
-
You have to check, what projects can be removed. An indicator might be the last updated date in the projects overview. But you'll need to check with the users. Space issues can be solved only by deleting projects or issues, so you need that cleanup you are planning. Otherwise you have only the option to increase disk…
-
Hi @Rashmi , If Jira is running well and can be accessed in the browser, it should be ok. Did you start Jira with systemctl or directly by the start script. Maybe stopping the service and restarting will fix the status of the service.
-
Hi, Did you do an update of Confluence or any app? What other errors are in the log? Did you try starting Confluence without apps? https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-disable-plugins-in-confluence-in-6-1+-using-java-system-properties-899424535.html
-
Hi @Tania Mata Morales , It is not possible to have Sub-Tasks under Sub-Tasks, they can only be under "normal" issues.
-
Hi Boyd, You have to start Jira and access the Setup Wizard to get the Server-ID, just as you thought.
-
Hi Rajeev, Thanks for the clarification. You are right, Bamboo is available as Datacenter. But the Data Center Versions of the Tools are still hosted by yourself, wherever you want. So easiest would be to just change the license, remove the server licenses and then add the DC license and you are done. You could move to a…
-
Hi @vmandapati , Bamboo is not available on Cloud, but Bitbucket Cloud provides Pipeline functionality, which might replace Bamboo. https://bitbucket.org/product/de/features/pipelines And you can deploy to other servers using SCP https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/deploy-using-scp/ Maybe that works for you.
-
Hi @Josh McNeill , Welcome to the community. It might work, but depends on your setup. If you have a kanban board, it depends only on the status. So you have to transition the issue to the right status after creating it. If you have a Scrum board, you have to add the issue to the sprint to show up.
-
Love this, thanks a lot.
-
Hi Ben, Thanks a lot. Looking especially for an application monitoring, so data from within Jira.
-
Hi @Javan Bailey , Welcome to the community. You can edit the board filter so that closed issues are not shown in general, but the there will be no way to show closed issues then. To do that, go to the board configuration. There should be a link to the board filter. Open that filter and modify the query, so that done…
-
Hi @Dmitriy Voznesenskiy , As the error message in the log states, Zero Downtime Updates are not supported for major release changes. So for the upgrade to 5.0.0you need a Downtime.
-
Hi, Sorry, misunderstood that. No, that's impossible to see in Jira.
-
Hi @Suma Pralhad Kustagi , if you are on Cloud, you can't check that. If you are on Server/Data Center, you should take a look at the System Information Page in the administration area, there you should be able to find that information.
-
Hi @Uwe Vogt , it was possible to use the xml-backup until May, now it is only available for sites with more than 1.000 users. https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/use-jira-site-import-to-migrate-from-server-to-cloud/ If you have such an xml-backup, you can try to request an exception from Atlassian, but I don't…
