As far as I know, there is no way to add an specific issue type to one of the issue type schemes that are used as basis for the new projects.
-
Hi @Parag Gupta , It is not really polite to leave other questions unanswered and just ask it again. Why do you want to create a new scheme everytime you create a new project? In general, it is not recommended to do so, it makes administration a lot harder.
-
No, it is no special project type, just create a project and call it "Template xyz" . Then you can create a project with a shared configuration (it is a link at the bottom of the create project screen), and choose the template project in the next step.…

Hi, Currently only the outward links are exported, not the inward ones. Here is the improvement, feel free to vote on it to increase the chance that it will be done. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-63388
-
Hi, Did you check, that the settings in the dbconfig.xml are still set right. Is your database still supported? With knowing more, it is only guessing what it might be.
-
Hi @Parag Gupta , You can create an project as template and configure it the way you want to have it. You can then create all new projects with a shared configuration, then it will have the same configuration as your template.

Just noticed that you are on cloud, so you might look for similar api calls there, they should be there.
-
Hi, You can assign the permission scheme like this https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/8.7.1/#api/2/project/{projectKeyOrId}/permissionscheme If you want to get more info about users/groups assigned to your roles, you can get them here…
-
Hi, First question is, why are you doing this? And why with Im- and Export. Can you elaborate on this, there might be better ways Anyway, please read the documentation carefully, both is explained there https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/importing-data-from-csv-776636762.html
-
Hi, As it seems that you are on cloud, I think this will be the right api call https://developer.atlassian.com/bitbucket/api/2/reference/resource/repositories/%7Bworkspace%7D/%7Brepo_slug%7D#post

Hi @[deleted] , Can't they see the dashboard or can they see the dashboard and no contents on it. If they can't see the dashboard, keep in mind, that you also have to share the dashboard itself. If they can see the dashboard, project permissions might be a look worth.
-
Hi @Sekhar Chandra , just wait a bit and check if it happens again. If it still happens, you will have to reach out to the Atlassian Support, I think.
-
Great to hear that.
-
Did you also check the server configuration in your my.cnf? I once had a similar issue and then it was only the server config missing, if I remember correct.
-
Ho @sokolman , Welcome to the community. Can you check that you have set the encoding right on server, database and table level. Additional, this kb article might help you getting closer to the issue. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/troubleshooting-character-encodings-167194.html

Yes, you can choose which users should get the service desk "license" and what users only have the jira core or software license. Regarding the marketplace, you are right, you always have to match that your number of jira users. But the highest number of users is the relevant number. If you have 10 jira core/software users…

Hi, Regarding the price, if you need a maximum of 3 agents, you can even try the free plan, which has some limitations but has all basic functionality. If you need all functionality, you will need the standard plan, but that is for 3 agents also only 10 $, so you will be at 20$ / month then.
-
Hi @Tyson Hoffman , your use case is perfect for jira service desk. You can connect your service desk project with an email address, so that all emails received will create an issue. You can communicate with the sender of the emails by commenting the issue and can also create internal comments for your communication with…

Hi @mahdi_hosseinali , So you are looking for a way to create more work logs? You can do this with the "log work" menu entry in the issues, just as you created your first work log.
-
Hi, there was an incident, should be working now again. https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/7wtvbh1rvn18
-
Hi, I just asked to have someone from Atlassian have a look at this.
-
Hi @Diego J Vasquez , Welcome to the community. Are you on cloud or on server. You might have to enable it on your instance in general before it can be used, but that depends if you are on server or cloud.
-
That depends on the language and what you want to do. But I think without general knowledge in writing scripts you will not achieve what you want.
-
Hi @hassan.mohamed , Welcome to the community. Maybe the project permissions has changed and/or the users are not added to the project. You can check both in the project administration area if you are the project administrator or ask your project administrator to do so.
-
Hi @Prasad Netaji N , Here is a link to the api https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/8.5.3/?_ga=2.53176872.1805901695.1579239025-315489623.1565892084#api/2/permissionscheme You can use any scripting language that suits you and that allows to do REST calls to create the script.
-
Hi @Giuseppe Terrasi , I think this is not possible in Jira without apps. You might take a look at eazyBI, with that you should be able to create such reports.
-
Hi @Giuseppe Terrasi , If you just want to see all bugs in all projects, you can simply select them in the issue navigator. If you want more visualization, we need to know what you want to see, I.e. what data or what kind of diagram.
-
Ok, thanks for the answer, that's what I expected, but I hoped that there might be a solution.
-
Hi Jack, Sorry if it was not clear. Customer A and B can currently see Portal C because it is open for everyone. But we want that only Customer A and B can not see the portal C nor the request types (just as if it does not exist) but the rest of the world should see it. So we just want to exclude the customers from…

Hi @Alejandro_DOMINGUEZ , yes, in that case you will have to find the responsible people in your company, that have configured the service desk. There are ways to have an escalation in the service desk, you can point them here if want to:…
