Hi @Marko Makuc, I would definitely raise a support request for this (at https://support.atlassian.com/contact ) my hunch might be that this is showing obfuscated IDs relating to GDPR support but I could be wrong. I would expect that it's something that our support team would want to investigate though. Regards, Dave

Hi @Mazen Hassan, Unfortunately it's not possible to show original estimates in plans at the moment and currently we have no plans to change this. This isn't because it wouldn't have value, but is simply a reflection of where this change is in terms of relative priority to other features on our roadmap, Regards, Dave

Hi @Peter Riise, That sounds really unusual ... are you on Cloud or Server / DC and if you're on Server which version of Advanced Roadmaps are you using? Things definitely shouldn't behave in the way in which you're describing, Regards, Dave
-
Hi @Christopher Shorb, The "Your Work" drop-down menu in the top navigation bar will show you all the recent issues that you've viewed or worked on, Regards, Dave

Hi @Anuradha Yadav, You can configure permissions for who can access the Advanced Roadmaps features. If you look under the "Plans" -> "Settings" menu option you will see "Advanced Roadmaps Permissions" - you can adjust the user groups to prevent people accessing plans. So although there is no invitation model in Advanced…

Hi @yuliia.soury, Just an observation / question - but I'm really curious to know why you're combining the Due Date with the Sprint field? Are you using the Due Date to represent the planned end date of work or is it being used to represent a deadline? I'm interested to understand the benefit you get from using the 2…

Hi @Charlotte.Hinton, One option might be to try Advanced Roadmaps (see https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/roadmaps/advanced-roadmaps ) which is available with Jira Premium. This allows you to build plans of cross project work and there is a progress field that will show you the progress of work based on time…

@Indranil Chattopadhyay PMP Do you mean within your own Jira instance or within the wider Atlassian Jira community? If the latter, I would recommend following appropriate groups or tags and getting involved in the various discussions and questions - you'll very quickly get to know others within the community. Regards, Dave

Hi @Chris Covert, It's not possible to update the Team for a sub-task because it's considered part of the issue (in a plan the sub-task will always inherit the Team value from it's parent issue). This is why you also can't have a different sprint for a sub-task, the sub-task considered to be part of the issue. Regards, Dave

Thanks for sharing this @Soumyadeep Mandal !

Hi @Aline Chapman, It's worth being aware that the report that @Daniel Ebers has mentioned is part of the old "Live Plans" interface for Advanced Roadmaps that has now been deprecated and will no longer be available after July 31st. We do want to introduce some of the reporting capabilities back into the new interface in…

Hi @Mike Ferrier , One of the limitations in Advanced Roadmaps is that a plan will only display and allow you to set a single release on any issue (whereas you can actually set multiple releases on the issue directly). The reason for this limitation is due to the Auto-Scheduling (formerly "Calculate" in Portfolio)…

Thanks @Dave LIAO - I must have missed that, I'll respond to it today!

Awesome, thanks @Curt Holley !

Hi @Bhumika Dave, This is a great question. It sounds like each team has their own project, however I would definitely recommend making use of the "Team" field as assigning teams to issues will help unlock capacity planning and enable you to see sprints on the timeline. If you have multiple teams working on a single…

It's interesting that you specifically mentioned custom fields from Advanced Roadmaps, @Clark Everson. Knowing what custom field types to support has always been a challenge for us - we think that we've got pretty good coverage of custom fields but it would definitely be good to know which custom field types we're lacking…

Hi @Ayo Ayoola, I just wanted to provide some additional context to why this is happening. When you filter for issues in a plan it might be a requirement that you are able to work with the descendants of those issues. In this case all of the issues apart from one are matching the filters (which judging from your own reply…

Hi @Ayo Ayoola, To link an Epic to an Initiative you need to use the Parent Link field (rather than the Epic Link field). Advanced Roadmaps introduces the Parent Link field that makes it possible to create additional hierarchy levels above Epic. The Epic Link is only used to link Epics to Stories. You'll need to add the…

Hi @Kristine Ursfjord, Advanced Roadmaps is now bundled with Jira Data Center and is included with a Jira Premium licence on Cloud. It's no longer possible to buy it as a separate application, Regards, Dave

OK, thanks for that extra info.... do you know if you have scenarios enabled for the plan and if everyone is looking at the same scenario? (the URL should match exactly - including the "sid" request parameter). Does everyone see the values for the estimate before the changes are saved to Jira? Regards, Dave
-
Hey @[deleted], Just a few things to clarify on your question... Seems like everybody can not see those values. Is this on the Jira issue details screen or on the plan? yes, we have reviewed our changes So just to confirm, that you've saved those changes after reviewing! What estimation unit is configured for the plan?…

Hi @Jennifer Maguire, Unless I'm missing something, this definitely sounds like a bug to me and I would recommend raising a support request so we can get this fixed. Changing the velocity of a team should have no impact on the dates of an unestimated issue. Something definitely doesn't sound quite right and it would be…

Thanks for that clarification @Jennifer Maguire, my apologies for misunderstanding your original question! You're absolutely right, that does seem strange... if the end date is beyond the fixed date of the assigned release and it doesn't have an estimate then I definitely agree it shouldn't be pushing the date past that…
