  • Hello Everyone! https://www.linkedin.com/in/colin-helke-309b08116
  • When you were configuring your mail handler, did you set a Catch Email Address? If the catch email address is filled out, only emails that are included in it will be processed. Leave it blank to allow all emails to be processed.
  • Hello Scott, I agree that having the ability to connect multiple emails and mail handlers in a single project would be a great default feature. Have you looked into JEMH I use this along with the portal to take in requests. It is extremely configurable and suits every use case that has come up for me.
  • @Blythe Ebersole That's great to hear from the team. I would be happy to talk. You can reach me at Colin.Helke@inclusa.org. I look forward to talking with you.
  • @Blythe Ebersole, Congrats on the recognition. Atlassian deserves it. Before I explain some of the unique cases, here is a little backgroud into what Inclusa does. Inclusa is a managed care organization that supports over 15,500 Family Care members across its 51-county service region in Wisconsin. We help members connect…
  • Thanks for the suggestion. I have thought about custom fields and sub tasks but the issue I run into is, I might send 200 water bottles and 300 frisbees. Does that mean I have have 500 subtasks of 2 subtasks with customfields. I was thinking of something like a regular asset management system but for bulk items. I could…
  • Right now I have it set up like this: IT Project Users and Roles * Project Role (Administrators) - Colin Helke * Project Role (Service Desk Customer) - All Users * Project Role (Service Desk Team) - Jira - IT (this group has only IT members in it HR Project Users and Roles * Project Role (Administrators) - Colin Helke *…
  • I played around with some of my SLAs and the only way I found that you could do it, is if all of your reporters are in groups. The Reporter for Customer A is in "group A" and the Reporter for Customer B is in Group B. Now you can right your SLA JQL like this: Time to Resolution Issues Goal reporter in (memberof("Group A"))…
  • I don't think you can stop the workflow and tell the user to assign it but you can add a post function that assigns the issue to who ever transitions it. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/advanced-workflow-configuration-776636620.html
  • One way you could avoid having to transition the issue and assign the issue, is to have the issue assign to whoever transitions it. You can use the "Assign to Current User" post function on this page Advance Workflow Configuration. So now you just have to click "In Progress" and the issue is assigned to you.
  • Hello Mohamed, Please let me know if I understood your question properly. Priority can control what type of sla is running on the ticket. You can define slas/priorities based on JQL conditions. So you could have a "Time to Resolution" SLA for "Issuetype = Incidents" and a "Time to Complete" SLA for "Issuetype = Service…
  • I believe that document is the same one as this link. This article is 4 years old, does Atlassian use this anymore? It would be nice if they updated it. http://atlassianblog.wpengine.com/2014/03/jira-asset-management-overview/ When I was testing with this article, I just made a "Basic" Servicedesk and pretty much deleted…
