Hi @Jonathan Clingham welcome to the community and thank you for your question. There are no predefined templates to deploy to an ESX. Your best bet is to follow the instructions in the setup guide here. There are various options regarding your preferred operating system. These guides are very detailed and should help you…

Hi @Cailyn Steinhardt , thanks for your question. Is is totally possible by using the CSV import. It is in easy process, that lets you map the data from the import file to jira fields. You can find the detailed documentation on the import feature here. It will guide you through all the steps, one by one. With this method…

Hi @Jemmy Pola , thanks for your question. I guess you are using a 3rd party app for creating Sub-tasks. The warning you get is from an this updated app, which has changed permissions with the last update and now needs your consent to work again. As you have noted, that it is still not possible after hitting "Allow…

Hi @Ste404 I'm not familiar with powershell, but according to the documentation, it is possible to create objectTypes via API. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/assets/rest/api-group-objecttype/#api-objecttype-create-post It is also possible to create new schemas via…

Hi @Diogo Rodrigues , this is not possible by default. You might be able to solve this with a third party app, as you are looking for an issue picker field. My honest opinion: your request sounds exactly like you need an asset management. But using Assets in JSM would require a plan upgrade to premium. There are other apps…

Hi @Emily _ DevSamurai , welcome to the community and thanks for your question. In general, Assets can be used in different contexts and the limits are pretty much endless. Asset management itself refers to the practice of tracking, maintaining, and maximizing the value of assets within an organization. This means, assets…

Thanks @Pier-Olivier Tremblay for the addition. Forgot to mention that. :)

@Nathan Allen, @Haig Aboyan you need to branch on AQL, otherwise the rule will focus on the issues instead of the objects. Please put the AQL from lookup objects into the branching part. Here is a simple example:

Hi @Shobana Regupathy , sorry that it took so long to respond. Could you solve your problem? The screenshots look like on prem, but you selected Cloud with Standard Plan as deployment for your question. I guess this might be wrong, because Assests are only included in Premium onwards. If it is on prem. You should be able…

Thanks for sharing this detailed doc!

Really love this new deployments overview. This gives us so much information about current development and testable features.

Sounds great. Looking forward ⚡️

Perfect. Glad we could help :)

Hi @[deleted] looks like you selected the wrong delimiter. Your CSV file has ; between the words. I guess Jira selected , by default?

Hi Jeremy, here is a guide on how to import data into Assets: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/prepare-your-data-for-importing-into-assets/ Best way in my opinion would be to create your structure manually, meaning the relevant object types with their respective attributes from your table…

Hi @Ashanti Jayasena , welcome to the community. If you want to enter a value in hours, it would be 15h not 15hrs. I'm not sure if this fixes your issue, but at least thats the format Jira expects.
-
Sorry, but it is somehow hard to debug with no deeper knowledge of the configuration. My best bet would still be to add the email logic to the other rules, that listen on issue create, if this is possible.

Hi @Tom Gross , welcome to the community. There is a documentation on recovery mode to restore sysadmin access for e.g. Cloud exports. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/restore-passwords-to-recover-admin-user-rights-972329273.html

Hi @Haig Aboyan could you post a screenshot of the whole rule?
-
Hi @Linus Johansson this sounds like a timing problem. I guess the assign Ticket rules get triggered after this one. You might want to check your rule details for the checkbox "Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule."
-
Hi @Ariel Mears what are you trying to achieve with your script? Could you give some more background information? It's usually not the best idea, to build logic into Jira with custom javascript.
-
Hi @OMHM did you implement the inventory with Assets? If so, we had a similar use case with one of our customers. We implemented an automation rule, with a scheduled trigger, that would search for objects with contract end date approaching and create an issue in the corresponding support project. Dashboards are used to…
-
Hi @Sarra Mehrez , it would be a better idea to head over to the developer community and ask your question there: https://community.developer.atlassian.com This community here is actually for JSM config questions.
-
Hi @Chris your manually have to add the attributes to the select list in the configuration. The problem is, that this dropdown will list all attributes, even from other objectTypes in the schema. So you need to know the specific attributes when adding them.
-
Hi @Atlassianist welcome to the community. Could you post the log of the automation rule execution? Not quite sure what the problem is, because your syntax looks correct. You could also switch the trigger to manual. That would make the rule available in each issue, right next to the workflow drop down. The other option…
-
Hi @Shobana Regupathy could you please post a screenshot of your object type structure and the attributes of the objects?
-
Hi @이정왕 looks like you have a 3rd party app installed.
-
Hi @Sreenadh , you can add all persons from a specific Jira field. This can be single user, multi user or group picker fields. Additionally you can select that the requests have to be approved by everyone. Another option would be to chain multiple statuses with separate approvals. A guide on how to setup approvals can be…

Do you have access to the specific project? Or might there be something missing?
