Hi Mahmoud, what version of Jira are you using? What is the deployment? What should haben, wenn die timelimit is breached?

Hi @Raymart Cruz , sure. The Automation would look like this: It utilizes the native JSM Workflow Approval Feature. There is a documentation on this feature here. In short: In a JSM project, a workflow can have multiple approval steps. These can be added to any status in the workflow: The approval decision triggers…

Hi Rachel, this is cloud. You added the tag for cloud when creating your request. If you are still using server, than you're right. Server ist limited to a 1:1 connection. Sorry :(

Hi @Emma Hay, the following setup should work for you (Ablaufdatum is my "License Expiry Date"):

Hi Roqya, what do you mean by "I need a 95 percent" ? You should be able to select the following:
-
Hi Toomas, just tested this in my environment via External System import, with the following settings. Worked perfectly: CSV Summary,Issue key,Comment rteastasd,KAN-1,"29/10/22 21:40 PM;admin;Import Comment;;;"

Hi Rachel, I'm not quite sure, if I'm getting it right, but you are able to add multiple confluence spaces as a knowledge base. Therefore you could have the same labels in two spaces to link articles: Do you have a specific problem with this setup?
-
Hi Pas, I don't have an environment to test it right now, but looking at your code, I guess the problem is setting the value. First thing you should try: log the option value you have, when searching for "SI" When this returns a valid value/id, you should pass this id to currentIssue.setCustomFieldValue(customField, "SI")…

Hi Somnath, it depends a little bit on your current setup. Assets would be the perfect place to manage your clients, services and send an email on scheduled maintenance depending on asset information. As you are using standard plan, you don't have access to assets currently. To better recommend a suitable solution, let me…
-
To catch up on Curtis answer, you could also label all confluence pages and limit the request type to specific labels in the KB settings.

I've already got several Jira ACP certificates and want to tackle a Confluence one next, to extend my knowledge and become an Atlassian expert

Hi @Dmitriy Bokhanov thats because the notification is a default Jira notification, not an JSM customer notification. If you are able to mention someone in a comment, they probably have more rights than a customer. But it looks like, they are not added to the project as a User to view the issues. If you want them to access…

Hi @Martin Ellwart this is not possible. Contexts are always limited to an Issue Type and/or project. Also there is no organization selected when creating a request. JSM server is a little limited. Considering Datacenter, setting up Insight (Assets) to support your process, might be interesting. As far as I understand, you…

Hi Saqib, could you explain "task under task" a little bit more?

Hi Zohar, this feature has been requested a long time ago: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-4770 Still this has not been implemented and adding fields to the axis is somewhat limited. Currently the only option would be, to use an automation rule, to copy the name of the Organization to the labels field. But this…

Hi Raymart, Automation has a separate trigger called "Approval completed". Best way would be to use this trigger and after that, check for approved / denied and send the request based on the result. Alternate way would require some more configuration, using a custom event. This event could be triggered in the workflow,…

Hi @Anthony Norwood , currently this is not possible. There have been apps to implement this use case on Server/DC, but as of now, the needed API is not available in Cloud. Kind regards, Kai
-
This looks really good. Would be cool to test this.
-
Hi @Jehan Gonsalkorale , definitely yes. We have implemented HR and other none IT use cases with several clients. JSM is to good to not use it for other stuff.
-
Hi @Ste Wright , thanks for the feedback. That would be possible, yes. I just thought there would be an easier way :) Kai

Hi Everyone, my name is Kai and I work as an Atlassian Consultant for a Platinum Solution Partner in Germany. I really appreciate this community and I love to work the agile way. Looking forward to interesting discussions.

Hi @Mary Mascari I'm on @Mike Rathwell side with this. Usually it is a good option to stick to the standard features. But, if you are still willing to pull the info for the fields from external sources, you could probably try Elements Connect It allows you to create custom dropdowns with external data. But be aware, that…

This is really cool. I need to free some space in my calendar.

Hi @Sierra is it essential, that the users have a valid license and aren't portal only users? If they need the permission, we usually solve this via communication and help users understand, that using the portal has benefits in terms of request fulfilment. If this is not possible, you could use an automation rule, to fill…

Hi @[deleted] , I just scrolled through the API documentation. It's noted, that no invitation mail is sent :( I then thought it might be a solution to create customers via automation, as this could also be triggered via webhook: curl: curl -X POST -H 'Content-type: application/json'…
-
Hi @[deleted] , I'm not fully aware of what you are trying to achieve, but I think there might be a misunderstanding. The REST endpoint you mentioned (besides that it is experimental) only adds existing customers to a JSM project, so that they can create requests. As fas as I know, an invitation mail is only sent out, when…
-
As of now, I don't know any setting in jira cloud to solve this. You're right, the app will collect the mails from the mailbox, parse them and feed them into jira.
-
Hi @Patrice Champet , using Insight LDAP import will enable you to import user related data into insight objects. Best idea is, to also create a jira user attribute in the object and fill it with the right Jira user. After importing, you can then create a new custom field connected to this Insight data. You will then be…

Hi @Vinod Rathod there is currently an open feature request, for editing issues: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-93 I would suggest trying this addon, which enables customers to edit request and send them notifications via workflow, if there input is needed.
-
Hi @Jean Pierre Du Plessis you will probably need an app, that has more support for parsing incoming mails. An example would be Email this issue
