Hi @Jorge Y. Mattheos Delgado welcome to the community and thanks for your question. In terms of Jira Cloud, there is no access to the data storage possible. If you would like to analyse the data you would need to query the Jira REST API. The documentation on this can be found here There is also a python library if you…

Hi @Fanny Vachet thanks for your question. Would it be ok, to limit access to the other projects to only a certain group of users? That way the projects shouldn't be visible to everyone anymore.
-
Thanks for the correction @Trudy P Claspill 🙏🏻

Hi @serge calderara thanks for your question. If you're in a company-managed project, the way of configuring the issue security is the same like it is on data center / server. If you are using a team-managed project, it is not possible to use issue security. The type of project you are in can be seen in the bottom left of…

Hi @brian.g thanks for your question. Actually there is no easy way to solve this. You will need to convert your Epic to a task and convert all Tasks to sub-tasks. For the subtasks part, you could search for all issues and then use the bulk change option to move all issues and switch the type to sub-task. Hope this helps
-
Hi @Martin Hirsch thanks for your question. When creating issues via automation, you are able to add the field Linked issues. This will allow you to select the link type and select trigger issue as target. Hope this helps.

Hi @Sriram Prabu welcome to the community and thanks for your question. The status card says that there are no issues in status "selected for development" so this might be the reason why the don't show up. If you are having issues in that specific status, you might want to check if they are excluded in the board filter.…

You will need to Switch everything from Server to DC, as Jira will otherwise notifiy about a license mismatch. In terms of environment changes, there should be nothing to consider. In your setup it would be simply running a single node Data Center instance
-
Hi @xinlin_peh could you please describe your use case a little bit more?
-
Hi @Teresa Condon you should be able to switch everything (Jira+all apps) from Server to DataCenter. But as Data Center is a subscription, you will need to buy a whole year.
-
Hi @Omprakash Thamsetty you need to search for the issues in the groovy script. So you will need to build in something like this: Issues.search('PUT YOUR JQL HERE').each { issue -> // your email logic is triggered here } Your JQL looks a little wrong I think. The Esitmated hours part needs a fix for the parentheses and I'm…

Hi @Omprakash Thamsetty thanks for your question. This is something I would usually achieve using Automation rules. If you want to use ScriptRunner, Jobs would be the recommended way to go. There you would configure a scheduled job that scans periodically. In the script part you would need to search for issues in your…

Hi @Archana Gopinath welcome to the community! Could you please explain a little bit more, what you are trying to achieve? Where do you want to get the data? Issue search? REST API? Maybe also add some screenshots.

Hi @Todd Winton thanks for your question. This should also be possible in Cloud, but the location has moved:

Hi @xinlin_peh welcome to the community and thanks for your question. I guess you want to attach an attachment to a mail for a customer? If so, it is not possible to send attachments. There is currently no feature in default JSM. You will need to install a 3rd party app to solve this. Two of them for example are: * Email…

@Jane.Gibson sorry for the late response. you should be able to add your field to the card layout on your board via board settings. here is a example how it looks, using the Priority field
-
Hi @Atlassianist there is no need to set the issuetype as it it is derived from the customer request type. The basic request should be the following: { "serviceDeskId": "10", "requestTypeId": "25", "requestFieldValues": { "summary": "Request JSD help via REST", "description": "I need a new mouse for my Mac" } } What are…
-
Hi @Atlassianist thanks for your question. Using the response from a get of an existing request is not recommended, as there will be a lot of fields and values, that are not necessary. I would highly recommend starting with the base version from the documentation and add the additional fields you wish to set during create.…
-
Hi @Jane.Gibson could you post a screenshot of your screens, where you added the field? And maybe one more, where you want it to display? To add to my question regarding the Request Rank field. Did you create this?
-
Hi @Santhana Raj Maharajan welcome to the community and thanks for your question. Using JQL, you are able to select multiple keys like so: key IN ("ABC-1", "XYZ-3", ...) Hope this helps 🙂
-
yes, probably that would be the only solution.
-
Hi @Jane.Gibson welcome to the community and thanks for your question. Could you please specify a little bit more, what type this "Request Rank" field is? According to your JQL, this is not the regular Rank field and rather a custom one you created. Are you using team managed or company managed project? As this might limit…

Hi @Vishal Biyani there is no API to find deleted entities. Actually these are not stored anyway. Deleting connections between issues or even deleting issues means that they are gone. No way to get them back. Sorry.
-
Hi @sadhana.chittibabu thanks for your question. If you are using a company managed project, there are a few possible solutions: 1. the custom field has a context, that is limited the the projects where you already used it. You can check that in Settings --> issues --> custom fields --> search for the field and hit the ...…

Hi @Pavan thanks for your question. There is a python library for Atlassian Applications, that also allows to upload apps, that can be found here This will allow you to install apps via script for example, to automate the process. Hope this helps.

Hi @Zach Misino thanks for clarification. The above part with "comments" looks more like a copy of a chat then a comment section. This is definitely no Jira Default feature. Maybe the above section is auto generated and put up there in a custom field? Where is this information stored? In the description? I guess it…
-
Hi @Zach Misino thanks for your question and welcome to the community. Could you please post a screenshot of the two comment columns you see?
-
Hi @Yuliia Vyborova I guess I got you wrong in the first place. Could you try to use the following as branching JQL: parentissuesof("{{issue.key}}") I hope that this should be enough.
-
Hi @Yuliia Vyborova {{issue.Epic Link}} should return the key of the parent epic. This could also be used directly in your JQL. No need to create a variable here.

I did a train trip through the Canadian Rockies about ten years ago. Sitting in a train and constantly following water running through these mighty rock formations is something I will never forget. I can also connect to @Dave Mathijs, as flowing water always calms me down, even after the most stressful day.
