Hi @Carol Low great to see this getting a release. Looking forward to trying it out (outside of a Figma screen!)

Thanks for the reply Bill. That worked. I feel a bit of a fool for not trying this myself earlier. It should just work with the NOT IN operator but forcing it to pass by checking to see if its empty of course works too.

And how exactly does this compare to the feature we have now? Am I right in that its a merger of the restrictions and sharing dialogue plus some tidying up and the following three features? Smart suggestions Personalised share notifications Warning when sharing with groups

Great! A feature we have been waiting for, for years. Wondering how this differs from the apps on the marketplace? Deep Clone, Configuration manager for Jira (CMJ), Project& Issue Templates, Templating.App, Converton Project Templates for Jira, Blueprints Creator etc. Speaking of which, even the most expensive addon in the…

A workaround to my own request: Set a label on the issue creation in Confluence automation, and then in Jira automation whenever an issue is created in Jira with this label, change the Customer Request Type.

We have 2500 paid users and sometimes upto 1000 guests, so I can confirm with first hand knowledge that guests do not count towards your user tier. We can technically have 12500 guests even if only 1 person is logging in, as we pay for 2500 users. We are using Confluence Standard. Confluence Premium or Enterprise is not…

@Aron Gombas _Midori_ the FAQ mentions plans per month: When will it be available? Starting December 9th (today!), customers on Free and Standard plans can start using automation. There is no change to Premium and Enterprise plans. See the usage limits that determine how many times rules can be executed per month,…

I also do not have permission to access the portal. I have a login at the earlyaccess JSM but not this specific portal.

I think I may have worked it out. The replaceAll is replacing the contents of everything between the brackets - in the original case (30/10/2024), as this is the (\(.*\) part in the regex. In my example I mistakenly misread the slashes and changed the characters to recognise for the replace. In this case i put in the - to…

This is great. Thanks John. Also great that the feedback I gave has been adhered to, namely that this feature should not be available to space admins, but product admins (and org admins?). And available on all editions of Confluence too.
-
I assume this is a Cloud to Cloud migration? As this is a new site, i'd recommend using the Copy Product Data feature but first into a fresh trial of Jira Premium, and then from there another migration to the destination. The reason being that when moving a single project or handful of projects, the copy product data…

I stayed away from Team precisely because it was in Vegas. I went to San Francisco and San Jose though. Who wants to hang out in a desert? If you don't like casinos and heat and wind and sand everywhere, why go? I don't get why they chose Las Vegas in the first place. At least LA will be better next year. Barcelona was and…

@John Hooper Does this export give me a list of spaces that the user has access to, even if i dont have access to that space? I don't need access to that space but knowing the permissions that they have is essential. Even if this would only be available to org admins. As an admin I dont need access to the space but surely…

Hi Darshanaa, I would say: 1. Restrictions: Untangling the page restrictions in a space. You can't just search for pages in the restricted section, nor can you order by creator or created date. Its a mess, and even worse if you are on Confluence Standard because accessing a page and lifting restrictions is a crippled…

@John Hooper This is a great feature, and it works well as an overview. For Confluence Standard users because they have limited storage it would be invaluable to have this available in each space and list the pages in the space in the CSV with the size of each page (and the attachments therein). But this is a handy feature.

Hi @Kristen Waters I would say at least the space owner should get the request. If we make it a hard coded -all people with space admin rights- then there are some spaces that have dozens of admins and we would be spamming them. Plus, ICT always get admin rights so ICT would get spammed anyway. Ideally if it can be a named…
-
In our place, IT always create the space so this will just create more spam for them. People already create a ticket when they want access, and this is the way we would like it. Also, people in the IT department will eventually leave the company and the person who created it will then also not even receive the request (and…

Hi @John Hooper (again) I don't see this on our Confluence Cloud - Should this have been rolled out to all instances already? EDIT: i see that there's one day left to have this rolled out to our instance!

Hi @Andy Gladstone - we are using an IPaaS solution called Workato which takes the API call for retrieving the personal spaces, 250 at a time: This is the Get Space v2 API https://<yoursite>.atlassian.net/wiki/api/v2/spaces?type=personal&status=current&limit=250 We feed the results of this into a results data set and for…
-
I'd love to conribute but I feel that my efforts might be wasted if this is yet another feature that Atlassian will keep for Premium.
-
Also interested to know if a subset of features will be available to Confluence Standard users. Things like the summarize feature.

I think every person who follows a team that isnt the winner (and thats 99.9%) wants their team to rise to the top. But if your team is always in the top 2 and wins things every season you should surely be happy with that. I don't think you'll get much sympathy from other supporters when you choose to support one of the…
