Please move this article to the Summit section. Thank you.

Thank you @PJ Wysota for your kind words, and thanks even more for the priceless help in the app's development! We appreciate it very much.

Hi Stephen, Currently, there is only a possibility to export bundled fields to XML format. However, we're discussing Bundled Fields 2.0 right now, which probably will feature exporting to other formats among other goodness. We haven't received such requests before, so we should investigate before putting it on our roadmap.…

Hi Cristian, We at Deviniti are currently working on this exact feature as part of Extension for Jira Service Desk, so it should be ready in a couple of weeks. There will also be more improvements to the My Requests screen - please watch the app on the Marketplace if you'd like to get notified when we release.
-
Please move this to the Marketplace Apps collection. Thanks.
-
Hi @Kenny Czadzeck, Epic templates are already available in the Cloud version as well. Feel free to test it :)
-
Hi @Alaa shamas, As it was mentioned in the previous replies, the customers need to submit edits in the comments section by default. But we at Deviniti have developed a tool which allows to do what you've asked for, and even more. It is Actions for Jira Service Desk - a small app that enables workflow actions with…

Yes, it's a great idea! Thanks @Huwen Arnone _Deiser_Devoteam_ :)

If you're interested, here's the Community Showcase article on this topic based on my previous reply and the interview I gave to Bridget Sauer: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agile-articles/How-Deviniti-uses-Atlassian-tools-to-track-tasks-manage/ba-p/839029

Hello @Kesha Thill, As a content marketer at a Marketplace app vendor (and a Platinum Solution Partner as well), I definitely fall under the "power user" category, if it comes to Confluence :) And I can say that we use it practically for everything related to the tasks that live in Jira (except the code, which lives in…

This little thing has been released recently by our fellow countrymen Spartez. Check it out and see if it suits you: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.spartez.jira.plugins.support-chat/server/overview
-
Hello Johannes, There's a LiveChat integration for Jira on-premise, which is absolutely free: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.intenso.jira.plugin.livechat/server/overview
-
OK, thanks for the info! Just fixed it.
-
@Lucas Modzelewski _Lumo_ Are there any problems with image display?
-
Happy belated anniversary! :)
-
Sorry for a delayed response. Yes, it is possible. You can also try add to your workflow the Only User From AD condition built into the app, as I mentioned earlier. if you choose it, you don't need to set up default approvals. However, try both options and browse the Marketplace for some more - at the end of the day, it's…

Hi @Craig Castle-Mead. Surely there is a little legwork with configuring the sync and creating the users in Jira, but you do it just once - after this, you have access to all the goodness that the app provides, and automate user creation in AD using the Update Property post function, if you need it.
-
Yes, you can manage approvals in your Service Desk out-of-the-box. There isn't a "higher level" above the Jira administrator, but you can add all the management staff to the approvers' list, so they wouldn't require approval by the admins. Does it solve your request? Let me know.
-
Which other options to make use of LDAP data in Jira can you see?
-
I'd recommend to set the Copy Property post function's output to the Request participants field - this will just add the boss to the issue without affecting reporters and assignees. Here's the setup guide in our user docs:…

Hi Gareth, We've tested it quickly, and it appears that Field Help doesn't display on all kinds of fields in Multilevel Structures. Please send a detailed request to our Support Team, and we'll fix it as soon as possible. https://intenso.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1
-
Gareth, Apparently, I've misunderstood your question. So sorry about that :/ I've just talked with our support team and searched through the Marketplace, and what I've learned is that so far there's no technical possibility to make request type multilevel structures, like Extension does with custom fields. It means that…
-
Hello Mosh, Another way would be configuring the LDAP sync only to a subset of users, i.e. the jira-users group that you create in AD. This could also prevent performance issues in case of a large user database, and of course the Jira's internal directory would be cleaner :) There's a fine piece of documentation by…
-
Same to you, and good luck with resolving your issue!
-
It looks weird. I'm currently running 3 different Jira environments and am logged into 3 different Jira accounts. Try to reach Atlassian Support Team to solve this.
-
Unfortunately you cannot do that in Jira, because accounts that belong to different companies belong to different databases as well, so it's just technically impossible to manage two accounts from one instance of the program (that's as far as I know). But, as I said, there's no problem in working with several different…
-
Unfortunately there's no possibility to do that out of the box. But you could try setting up a Multilevel Structure with the Extension for JSD app to set up the dependencies and hide the irrelevant request types on the Customer Portal. Read the user docs to know more about the feature, and in case of additional questions,…
-
Hello Gareth, Do you work on Server or Cloud hosting?
-
Hello Murthy, You could try to do this with Active Directory Attributes Sync app. The group filters, like the one you tried to apply, work there well. Please let me know if it solved the issue.
-
@Derek Fields _RightStar_ is absolutely right: the app does it with the Copy Property post function and a custom field on the issue screen. In addition, we've got the Only User From AD condition there, which can restrict the approval only to the manager displayed in the field. Read the user docs for more info:…
