Thanks @Bridget, and congratulations to everyone on the awards list (as well as the whole Community) for being so awesome!

Hi @[deleted] @georgina_daian, We've decided to release this functionality as a separate app. Feel free to check out My Requests Extension for Jira Service Desk and let us know if it suits your needs. Cheers, Dzmitry

Hi @Chris Stone, If it's still relevant to you, this week we released Extension for Jira Service Desk Cloud, which contains the Dynamic Forms feature unavailable out-of-the-box. Feel free to try it out and leave feedback: http://bit.ly/2Cd1H7N Cheers, Dzmitry

Hi @Gabriel Viger, I'm happy to inform you that Extension for Jira Service Desk Cloud is on the Atlassian Marketplace! Try out the Dynamic Forms feature: http://bit.ly/2Cd1H7N Please keep in mind that the configuration is slightly different due to technical limitations of Cloud hosting. We're preparing a guide article…

Hi @Sergio Palacio, @Calvin Senteza is right if it comes to the exact case you described, provided that only native Jira Service Desk configuration is used. But there is no possibility to set up dynamic fields that way, which can be done with Extension for Jira Service Desk. With the app, creating dynamic request forms is…

Thank you @Susan Hauth _Jira Queen_ for mentioning Extension for Jira Service Desk! Just in case @kumar Gajapaka, the Dynamic Forms functionality has recently been enabled in the first Cloud version of this app as well. I'm on the Deviniti team who are the makers of this app, so feel free to contact me in case of any…

Hi @Emilee, Thanks a lot for spotlighting us! We've been working hard on helping improve UX of Jira Service Desk for customers, agents and admins since the product's inception. Here's the 4th part of the article series regarding My Requests screen:…

Hi @AKSHAY THAKARE, We've already got a support ticket on this. This is a rare misbehaviour, but we will fix it soon.
-
Hi, 1. Unfortunately there's absolutely no way to do it out of the box. However if you don't mind looking at a Marketplace app, then we've recently released My Requests Extension for Jira Service Desk. It gives you, as an admin, the possibility to configure which fields can be displayed on My Requests page, which of them…

Great FAQ @Jack Brickey! Thanks for mentioning our Queues for Jira Service Desk app :) Regarding the question about resetting SLA: it's actually possible with another app of ours, Extension for Jira Service Desk. We've got two post functions for SLA metrics management there, namely Restart SLA and Update SLA to date. While…

Hi @Bruce Reed, Thanks for your feedback! My Requests Extension is compatible with Refined Theme since version 1.1.2, and we plan on adding export possibilities in the future. As to field selection, which ones did you feel lacking? The app provides support for all custom fields and most system ones. Cheers, Dzmitry

Please delete this - I've just uploaded an updated version of this article: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-articles/How-HostDime-Improved-Deployment-with-Issue-Templates-for-Jira/ba-p/938825 Sorry for inconvenience.

Hi @Jan Anderson @Jozsef Lehocz @[deleted] @MarkCai @Susan Hauth _Jira Queen_, To enable modifying columns on My Requests page, we at Deviniti have created My Requests Extension for Jira Service Desk. It gives you, as an admin, the possibility to configure which fields can be displayed on My Requests page, which of them…

Hi @Arturs Kruze, We at Deviniti think that it's been too long waiting for this feature, so we've created My Requests Extension for Jira Service Desk. It gives you, as an admin, the possibility to configure which fields can be displayed on My Requests page, which of them are visible as columns by default, and also define…

What is the FIRST Marketplace app you would recommend to a new team just getting started? If you're new to Jira, you'll definitely benefit from Issue Templates. It takes some time to build a decent template repository, but after that, creation of repetitive issues (and even Epic structures with lots of Stories and…

@Chima Abah, Please file a ticket to our Service Desk and provide our team with a Support file, a configuration screenshot and all the information you have about the problem. They will help you out :)
-
Hi @Chima Abah, Two questions to be precise: 1. Are you trying it with Extension for Jira Service Desk or Dynamic Forms for Jira? 2. If I get you right, you've added some options to a custom Select field, but they are not displaying on the Dynamic Forms configuration. Is that correct? Please provide a screenshot, so we…
-
@Gabriel Viger, We're working on the configuration part right now, so I can safely assume that with all the testing and stuff it will take us 1-2 months to release the first Cloud version. Dzmitry
-
Hi @Gabriel Viger, Which one are you asking about? We're already working on Extension for Jira Service Desk Cloud, which will contain the Dynamic Forms functionality. As to Dynamic Forms for Jira, right now it's not on the roadmap, as we've got slightly different priorities for the upcoming year. Cheers, Dzmitry
-
Hi @Raphael Oliveira, This feature is available only on Jira Server right now.
-
@Alvin OK, so our Support team will contact you in a while :)
-
Hi @Alvin! I assume there may be other conflicts inside the system, which we would need to investigate. Please submit a ticket on our Service Desk and upload your support file, so we could dig into your setup faster and solve the problem.
-
@Alvin, just like I said in the upper comment - an upgrade to the latest version of the app (which is 3.2 right now) should fix the problem.
-
Hi Alvin! Which version of the app are you using, and on which screen does this problem occur? There is a problem which we know about required fields blocking workflow transitions - we're working on it, so it should be fixed by the next release. For all the other screens, we've already fixed such occurrences, so I suggest…
-
No problem @Alvin! Stay in touch :)
-
OK, so my suggestion for now remains the same as above: create a Dynamic Select field and call it Priority. Then you can hide the system Priority field from the screen and use this custom one as a Dynamic Field. The drawback is that you won't be able to create schemes with this field like with the default Priority field in…
-
Oh, I see. Unfortunately, for now you cannot add a system field as the master in Jira Software as is. Which exact field would you like to add? I'd suggest a workaround until we add this possibility in Jira Software: if possible, create a similar field with the same options as a custom field. Then you will be able to…
-
OK, I'll try to make it clear @Alvin @Gaurav Yadav. We've reworked the feature's configuration, so the documentation is a bit outdated right now (sorry guys, we're working hard on rewriting it and migrating to our Support webpage). The Dynamic Forms functionality in Jira Service Desk is included into the Extension app. In…

Hi Vishal, I suppose you're asking about Jira Service Desk, right? Then you can solve this by setting up separate request types for each project. If you're on Cloud, it's even easier for the end users with the new UI, as it will be basically a dropdown menu inside the Customer Portal that your users choose. Cheers, Dzmitry
