Hi @DJ Chung, I'm a developer at Lively Apps and I would consider ourselves power users of Confluence. I personally use it every day and visit the home page of our Confluence instance probably once per hour. :) We also have an app (Task Reminder for Confluence) that integrates with the home / dashboard: it comes with a web…

Awesome! Sounds like you're all set up? Great to hear that! :) Cheers, Sven

Hi @aysegul erciyas, I'm pretty sure the error you're seeing ("Unexpected error communicating with the server.") is popping up in a flag when you do a live Query Preview inside the PocketQuery admin, correct? If yes, that's a bug that we are currently working on fixing as we speak. This is really just a wrong error…

Hi @aysegul erciyas, I'm one of the developers of the PocketQuery for Confluence app that was mentioned by @Mike Rathwell. If you have any questions about it, don't hesitate to ask here or shoot us an email to support@livelyapps.com! :) Cheers, Sven

Looking forward to meeting you on Monday! :D Cheers, Sven

Thanks to the 2020 CAB members for putting in your time and hard work! Also, congratulations to the new 2021 members!

Thanks for sharing this, Emilee! Super proud to appear twice on this list with our Cloud versions of PocketQuery and Task Reminder! Many more on the way :)

Wow! Great post! Thanks @Hasnae

Hi Leo, Unfortunately, I think there's no way to do this in plain Confluence. This is one of the reasons why we have built our app Lively Blogs for Confluence. It tackles this issue by allowing you to add an important label to your blog posts. This will make them stick to the top for a configurable time frame. You can see…

Hi @Andreas Haagner, I think our app Lively Blogs for Confluence might offer what you're looking for. It comes with a global overview page for all your blogs which is also available via a macro to be inserted into other pages. Let me know if you have any questions. :) Cheers, Sven

Hi @Shaunt Kojabashian, We actually had the exact same problem, migrating from Server to Cloud. On Server, we had previously removed those unwanted parts using our own app HideElements for Confluence. On Cloud though, this is not possible and we really didn't want to use plain Confluence for our public documentation…

Hi @Kenny Mikami, This is something that an Atlassian Solution Partner can likely help you with. You can search for local Solution Partners in the Partner Directory: https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/ Cheers, Sven

Hi @Rochelle Lim, I'm one of the developers of the Task Reminder for Confluence app. We know that Confluence is missing a lot of capabilities when it comes to creating reports on tasks. We are currently researching what capabilities are the most important and where and how these reports should be creatable and accessible.…

Hi Martin, Just wanted to let you know that the Cloud version of Task Reminder for Confluence was finally released on the Marketplace! :) We priced it at $0.05 which is the cheapest possible on the Marketplace so it's available and accessible for everyone! You can find it…

Hi Anna, Might be a bit biased here since it's our own app, but I really love how my colleagues have arranged the blog overview in Lively Blogs. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like: Cool thing about Lively Blogs is also that it allows you to set teaser images for blog posts and comes with a lot of macros that let you…

Hi @Rune Hellem, So, since pulling JSON files that are hosted somewhere is pretty much equivalent to a REST GET request, you could use our app PocketQuery for it. The thing about PocketQuery is that it tries to display your JSON as a table per default which means it expects it to be in this layout: [ {"columnA": 1,…

Hi @Craig Beaubien, It sounds a bit to me like this is more of a manual process for you, but do you have this data available in a database or via a REST API? If yes, you could use our app PocketQuery to dynamically pull in the data for a given product. For example, you could create a Query called "warranty_check" which has…

Hi Vladislav, Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Qlik Sense and do not know of any Confluence integration for it but maybe Qlik Sense has a REST API for producing charts? Although untypical, they might have some endpoints which return already rendered HTML which you could then simply display through PocketQuery. From a…

Hi Martin, On Server, you could simply use our app Task Reminder for Confluence for that. It is not yet available for Confluence Cloud but we've been working on a Cloud version and it will be available very soon! :) Cheers, Sven
-
Hi @Frozzo, This is absolutely possible but you'll need a third party extension for it. I know of several apps on the Marketplace that can do this, but since I'm working at Lively Apps I'll of course show you our own one. :) The main feature of our app Git Snippets for Confluence is that it allows you to embed…

If you are looking specifically for space admins to manage space-specific groups you might be interested in our app Team Admin for Confluence which allows space admins to create, edit and maintain groups right from the standard space permissions screen: Let me know if you have any questions about it! :) Cheers, Sven

Realistically, you would have to have full control over the machines your users use to access your Confluence. You would have to disable features like this on the operating system level on their machines, otherwise there would always be a way to make a screenshot, recording, print or whatever. But even this would not…

Hi @Bharat Tuli, Have you had a look at our app HideElements for Confluence? With it you can control the visibility of UI elements on page, space, and global level. Simply insert the HideElements macro into your page and you will have a nice menu like this were you can choose to hide the sidebar and other elements: Cheers,…

Happy that you like it @Samie Delebo - Your Gal at Gliffy! If you feel like anything's missing don't hesitate to let us know. We of course still want to improve it, even though it's free now! :) Cheers, Sven

While I wouldn't consider this an officially supported feature, you could probably use the "load dynamically" REST endpoint of PocketQuery to execute a Query. This however will also only give you the HTML. We'd love to hear what your exact use case is! Could you maybe raise a ticket at our PocketQuery ServiceDesk and tell…
-
Hi @Joao Flavio Mendonca, Thanks for your question! Right now we are not storing this information, as part of our goal to not store any user-related information. I do however see how this could be useful. I'm pretty sure that if you set the log level for PocketQuery to INFO today it will log all creation/update/delete…

Really looking forward to having a new colleague in Munich! So many cool ideas that we will be able to work on together. By the way, if you have any questions about the position you can also hit me up directly. :)
-
Thanks @Jonno Katahanas that sounds great! Especially nice to hear that you are using Forge internally for things like these, gives me a lot more trust in the platform personally. And to everyone who hasn't chatted with Jonno before, can definitely recommend! :) Cheers, Sven

I'm not aware about public numbers on number of instances and users per deployment. But you might wanna look at the Investor Portal and more specifically the most recent Shareholder Letter where you can find information about revenue share. Cheers, Sven
