@Jay It actually took off pretty well, now you can watch various events at https://www.twitch.tv/atlassianlive There was a Dungeons&Dragons event just this morning, including our head of engineering!
-
Good on ya, Jimmy! Atlassian also participates in Extra-life. This is an attempt to bring a similar event to Australia!

@DM > The main problem I'm having is that issues with images now look more important than the ones without images. That is a good insight. Thanks for this feedback!
-
@--- Take a look at the comparison here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Next-gen-articles/Classic-and-next-gen-project-templates-in-Jira-Software-Cloud/ba-p/862404
-
@--- I believe you are using a classic project. The images on cards is only available for the next-gen projects...
-
@Christian Lewis which reports are vital for you? @Dave Holdsworth I don't have a specific date, but they are high on our list and being actively worked now. @James Harwood Sometimes we can deliver new features and sometimes we have to deliver things that improve the next-gen projects but are not directly visible. But we…
-
@Sandeep Shouche Reports must be enabled first in the Project settings ⚙️ -> Features.
-
@Clark Taylor the Done column issues are cleared off the board after 14 days. The column will then show a link to find them using the search page. However we know this is not ideal and we are working on designing a better way to clear issues off the board. Let us know what would you expect a feature like this to do. You…

@Roberto Ialino you cannot completely disable the new templates. The option to disable independent projects will disable the option for all users who are not Jira Administrators. If that doesn't work (regular users can still create their projects), please raise a support ticket with Atlassian.
-
Ok the bad news is that this is not possible right now. It is a valid concern. I've looked into existing possibilities. But neither the issue move nor the issue import/export worked. The issue move can change issue numbers, for example if you have deleted an issue before and have a gap in the numbers. There is a workaround…
-
@Anna Henke That's a valid concern - and you are correct. The issue keys can end up different. How would you need this to work? Would you need the same key-number? Or just the number? This is probably not the best place to discuss this - may I suggest opening a question (the 'Create' button on the top of the page)? I will…

@[deleted] If that was an Agility board, I might have an idea, but not sure about Trello ;) Maybe try next door at the Trello community.
-
@Greg Johnson Unfortunately I do not have an answer for that.
-
@Aaron Jestrab Converting the project is basically moving the issues from one project to another. The move will allow you to map issue types etc. But if you have an existing Kanban, maybe first try a new Agility project to see if it suits you. As to why we haven't added this is the classic projects: The new Agility…
-
@Daniel Polistchuck No, the classic Kanban and Scrum projects are not getting this feature... Only the independent projects (currently just Agility template) can use it. Which features are Agility projects missing that would prevent you from migrating to it? We know there's still work to do, and we like our users to tell…
-
@Brian Yes, your understanding is correct. You are a project administrator (and only for the one project). You need to be a Jira administrator to create other types of projects.
-
@MaryP When you integrate it and if you don't mind sharing a screenshot, please do! We are always interested in seeing how our customers use our products!
-
@P_D_ Foerster It's not a result of buying Trello. But Trello has good features that users expect from Jira as well. Also you can import your board from Trello to Jira and one of the things that were not possible to keep before were the images on cards.
-
@Kamen Kanev Well, it depends how you look at it. If you are thinking about turning on the feature in other project, then no. However the new projects created from the new template should get most of the features of the other projects - there's already backlog, sprints, custom issue types. Many other features are on the…

The cloud version of Jira does not support this kind of wildcards. It only supports the * wildcard at the end of the word, therefore the '23' string is being ignored. ? is being converted to *. See the cloud docs for more info about searching.
-
Excellent answer! You can also see this article for news about Agility projects.
-
The custom fields are created by the plugin in Jira and will stay there. You can go to Settings -> Custom Fields and de-associate the custom fields from all screens. That should hide them. Existing issues will keep the fields and values, but if you don't associate them with any screens, they should not show anywhere. New…
-
Glad you found your answer, but sorry to see you go! I guess there was something missing in Agility?
-
@Chris Chaney The backlog shows only work that needs to be completed, therefore backlog doesn't show "Done" issues. When you change the status to Done, the issue will disappear from backlog. As Alexey said, you can still find them in search, but they won't appear back on the backlog unless you change their status again.…

@[deleted] The most efficient way is to move all your issues to a new Scrum or Kanban project, see also: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agility-Beta-questions/Can-I-convert-an-agility-project-to-another-project-or-board/qaq-p/744354#M16

Hey Mark! You have created an Agility project. This is a new type of project we have added recently. It doesn't have all the features as the other projects like Kanban and Scrum yet but we are working on adding more. It has some extra features though, for example, it's the first project that non-admins can create…

@Uria Ohana Take a look at this answer: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agility-Beta-questions/Can-I-convert-an-agility-project-to-another-project-or-board/qaq-p/744354#M16 But out of curiosity, what doesn't work?

Take a look at this answer: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agility-Beta-questions/Can-I-convert-an-agility-project-to-another-project-or-board/qaq-p/744354#M16 For now you'll have to create a new project and move issues to it.

The difference is that your colleagues have administrator privileges. As a regular user you can currently only create Agility projects. This new feature was added recently - before you couldn't create any projects without admin privileges. The new project is evolving - we are adding features to it. We would really…
