Any one can create a suggestion at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER My suspicion is that this task is neither as simple nor as accurate as you believe. But don't let that stop you from suggesting it

It could be useful to mention the other five Jira schemes with a summary of what they are for? The other thing about schemes is that naming them well, and adding a link to docs in their description, will help you understand what they are for later on
-
Of course, this change is made with the Jira instance stopped. And assumes that the app link has already been set up in the UI

The SQL we use in Data Center is select property_key, propertyvalue, propertystring.id from propertyentry join propertystring on propertyentry.id = propertystring.id where property_key like 'applinks.admin%url'; Then once we know the two ids 123, 234 update propertystring SET propertyvalue =…

Likely the webhook set up on the Jira side is not getting called?
-
You can avoid changing the Summary of existing issues by having an empty Summary column in your CSV. The original Summary is not modified in this case. You could try the same trick with Assignee - have a column but leave it blank and see what happens when you test it with one issue
-
If you have enough heap allocated, your current use is unlikely to be a problem. We only create new projects when a different set of versions, components, admins or permissions are needed. Not just because a new team exists.

More than about 1000 worklogs will slow down the issue loading, but there is no limit enforced. More info at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-45903

I think the colors are related to the colors chosen for the system field Priority. Tip: if you choose white for the color for a status, then the issue is white on white in the calendar gadget. Oops
-
ScriptRunner behaviours may help you with this
-
Not sure if you can add comments when creating an issue. You could make the Description field required with a Behaviour, as others have noted. Or add a validator to require some text in some field on the next transition after Create
-
But the bottom line is that if anyone copies source code text from Jira or Confluence, they should use an editor and a review tool that displays unicode characters. That way they won't accidentally introduce the hidden text into the code base.
-
The fix in Jira DC 8.13.13 is to show the bidi characters when the text is within a code or noformat macro in the Description field or a comment. You can check for the existence of the bidi characters with the following long-running queries but the characters may just be because someone was editing harmless text right to…

I don’t think that the article linked to by Andreas was pushing a product. I’m not sure where Sergei got that idea from. And Joe’s comment doesn’t help because Andreas is clear about being an Atlassian partner. Let's stick to the original question here, please

The hard way is to review the backlog on a weekly basis. One way to make that a bit easier is to add a Quick Filter that shows issues created in the last week. That helps you send the new issue to the top of the backlog if it is more important. You could also add a new status to your workflow to indicate issues that have…

I generally use the Jira Python library and I see the same thing. The search returns issue and then I have to call that second issue REST resource to get the issue links I looked for an expand parameter value to do this but didn't see one

And as Mykenna said, is this going to clash with the Team field from Advanced Roadmaps in Data Center?
-
Is the field to be named "Team" or "Teams"? Both are used in this article and it makes a difference

Still present

Resolution Date is set when the system Resolution field gets a value added. Updated date does not include when watchers or voters are added. Otherwise, as Nic says, it's any other change

This usually happens because an Epic has child issues that are not included in the board filter. The issue counts in a board will only include issues that appear in that board You can link to the Epic issues that are outside the scope of the board

https://my.atlassian.com/download/source/jira-software should work if you are authenticated there and have any kind of license

I found all projects with a From address set using select * from propertyentry where property_key='jira.project.email.sender';

Good one!

Interestingly, I found out that you can add remote links to an issue using the REST API and in doing so appear to create your own "link type", such as "child(ren)". However the link type is not added to those available. It's just text in an issue. I used this as part of a GitHub Jira integration we wrote. So it is possible…

Alternate plan: lock all pages in the original space and make people do their own Move Page action in the UI if they want to use the page.
