Congratulations on your Atlympic Medal, @Nikki Zavadska _Appfire_ ! 🥇

Hi Jexo team - we're big fans of your Youtube channel and your apps! Thanks for making great products for our customers and for sharing this behind-the scenes look at how your team runs. (I also am a :bigfan: of Among Us - great game choice!)

Hey there @Darryl Lee , good call-out! This feature was introduced via a progressive rollout to customers. You may have been included in an earlier cohort. The feature is now fully available.
-
Thanks @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_ * We pre-filled the board with some questions and invited team members to add their own * Once the question has been moved to the 'this week's question' column, it stays there perpetually. Maybe halfway through the year I will archive the cards in that channel to clear out the column If it's…

Slightly less conventional example, but on the Atlassian team, we've been leaning heavily on Slack to help keep our teams in sync with the switch to remote work this year. We have been experimenting with async team communication preferences and rituals to keep our team culture strong - one way we do that is by syncing…

Thank you to everyone for your very open and candid feedback on our header image! We've decided to remove it from this post.
-
@Benjamin Horst That was certainly not our intention! I'll share the feedback with our design team.
-
@Tom O_Connor and team, thanks for these practical resources for those who find themselves abruptly organizing all-remote planning. We'd love to hear from others: how have you been adapting to less travel or fully remote working when it comes to PI planning?
-
@Mirek , thank you for your post! The agilecraft.com website is the Jira Align website; it will be incorporated into the Atlassian website in the near future. The pricing page that you have linked to is accurate and up to date. If you have more questions about the licensing and pricing beyond what is detailed on that page,…

Hi @brian moore thanks for your question and welcome to the Atlassian Community! Jira Align is a cloud-first solution, and we will always work with our customers to help them adopt a hosted version of Jira Align if possible. However, we work closely with potential customers to understand their deployment needs as part of…
-
Christian Ziegelt @sp Thank you for your comment and question! Unfortunately, we do not offer a self-hosted version of Jira Align at this time. We understand that for many organizations, cloud security is a sensitive topic and can sometimes present challenges to overcome. We have worked with some of the largest enterprises…
-
@Mindaugas Kuodis, thanks for your questions! It's great to hear you're interested in exploring Jira Align for a SAFe use case. Here are a couple of additional resources I'd recommend: * Our product overview demo covers the core functionality, and how Jira Align can support strategic planning, portfolio management, program…
-
@Amorita van den Heever first of all, I'm so sorry to hear that you've had an unpleasant experience so far with Confluence and Jira. That's the last thing we would want for any customer! I second @Kat Warner's comments on the resources available here on the community - many experts who can help address specifc questions if…

Hi there @Tarun Sapra, thanks for your comment - and glad to hear the archiving features we've been working on for Jira Software are interesting to you! We take great care when prioritizing new features in Server and Data Center editions of our products. Our rationale for which features belong in each edition is outlined…

Fingers crossed you can upgrade soon @Anton Chemlev - Toolstrek - ! You'll get lots of good updates, like shared editing of filters and dashboards, in addition to the 8.0 updates :)
-
Thanks for raising this, @Jacques - this issue is resolved in Jira 8.0.1: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/issues-resolved-in-8-0-1-966679555.html
-
Thanks @Gonchik Tsymzhitov! 15 of the top 20 Jira Server apps are already compatible with 8.0, and more are being added each week. We know this is a key part of customers being able to upgrade, so we appreciate your patience!
-
Thanks for helping out, @Justin Alex Paramanandan ! That's the recommendation from the Jira team as well.
-
@140401 kindia We recommend you upgrade to the latest bug fix version within an Enterprise release version - so Confluence 6.6.6, not Confluence 6.6.0. The 6.6.6 version will have the latest bug fixes and stability improvements.
-
@Meg Holbrook Great feedback that we can take action on. Thank you for raising it! This blog post (The human side to scaling Jira Software) has some detail, but we have plenty of opportunity to surface more best practices. We'll keep working on it!
-
@Meg Holbrook That's a great point - we can definitely help to add some context to what larger customers are doing around best practices. This discussion on archiving is a good example of community threads we can take back and build more content around to benefit the community. Are there any particular best practice topics…
-
Hi @Mark Montminy, thanks for describing your current and desired future state for archiving. I agree that there's no perfect solution, but with input like yours, hopefully we'll make progress on addressing these requirements in the future.
-
@Dinesh Dhinakaran Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear you're still experiencing some issues - but it sounds like you've taken the right first steps by reaching out to Premier Support. It can be tricky to troubleshoot issues without knowing exactly how your Jira instance is configured. Let me see if I can find any…

We'll look into it :)
-
Thanks Micky! Doing well, and hope you are too! Great tips - I like the advice to make sure legal is involved since there might be sensitive data stored in Jira that should be treated carefully.
-
Hi @Bastian Stehmann - thanks for your reply! Both are very interesting approaches - that's good tip for everyone to know that a backup archive instance needs to be the same version as the production instance. For the second strategy, it sounds like you would be updating the permission scheme, but leaving all of the issues…
-
Hi @Alexey Matveev, thanks for your reply! I'm familiar with this (very helpful) KB article, and I probably should have been clearer in my initial questions. I'm curious not just how you might archive projects and issues in Jira, but the broader process around setting up an archiving plan or strategy. Who on the team needs…
-
@Paulo Alves Great to hear! Let me know if your team has any feedback. We'll let the other product teams know you're interested in future challenges like this one!

Hi @Patrice Champet, sorry for the delayed response! Can you let me know whether you are still able to download the template? If the form is still not working, I can email you the template.
