Hi @Fred R , welcome to the Atlassian Community! Descriptions can be very long, I know mine are ;) You can always add new field like 'Short description' or 'Public description' to summarize what's in the idea and show it in views

Top 3 premium features I miss the most: * Archiving pages - keeping out-date pages bring confusion, I used to just export outdated sections to .pdf from time * Automation - I can see that putting some expiration date on content on content being dependent on other actions could help me keep KB clean * Troubleshooting…

Looks like a missing feature, I tried to add link on transition on separate screen and it is also not possible :( I've made it required and it is being ignored on mobile :(

To link issues on mobile app (android), you can use the options menu in the top right corner. When linked issues are added, then Linked issues section will be visible under issues, with option to link other issues

Probably depends on many factors. You can check on single page like this community page vs 1 confluence page in view, then creation of new page, then edit. Probably depends on installed apps, macros used on page etc.

Hi @Valdis Nikoņenoks , welcome to the Atlassian Community! I don't think that's possible, yet. Did you try to use the views? https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/database-views/

Hi @Terri Barris , welcome the Atlassian Community! Basic item lists ( [ ] ) are not wrapped in anything, so it is basically checkbox with text. I've found some long ticket where Atlassian is drawing the line between Jira and Confluence when it comes to tasks ;) https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-41566 Probably…

Oh, there are multiple factors and it depends on the team, the product, who is reporting this etc. If it's for external customers: they may or may not follow the guidance. What's worst the might not report bugs at all, if the form is complicated, because it would require too much effort from their side. It's better to…

No, but it caught my eye because it’s related to your case. I never fully trust any incident messages - other services could be affected but either not mentioned or not yet reported. ;)

Hi @Kim Clark , welcome to the Atlassian Community! It looks like there is an ongoing issue on Confluence, check this: https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/ It's good to check the status page if something is wrong: https://status.atlassian.com/

Basically you need to cancel all of the products: * Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing. Select your billing account if you have more than one. * Select Subscriptions, find the subscription you want to cancel, and select Manage. * Select more actions > Cancel subscription, then review and confirm your cancellation.…

looks like there are some possibilities: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Document+Generator+Template%3A+Test+Execution But again you would need to check what exactly do you need (based on your data and set up) and ask Xray team for some support in helping you achieve it. Btw. Xray have their own academy, my…

Hi @Jake Robert Ventura , welcome to the Atlassian Community! I've checked with Chat GPT, and basically .xlsx is more complex, here is part of the looong response: * XLSX is a more complex and modern format that is XML-based and typically compressed in a zip-like structure. When dealing with large files, especially those…

During my time in support, we used to create multiple FAQ and how-to articles with labels and questions/problems phrased in different ways (on the same page). This ensured that even if a user wasn’t precise enough, they could still find relevant articles before creating a ticket. When we first started, I would create FAQ…

@Cui Wei Lee great to hear that :) Please mark this as solved by accepting answer :)

Unfortunately, in Confluence, comments cannot be added directly to content inside excerpt macros because excerpts are meant to pull content dynamically from one page and render it on another. The excerpt itself is treated as a single rendered block, which disables commenting directly on that content when it's included…

We support most authentication apps – some of the more common ones are Google Authenticator, Authy, or Duo. Also if you are testing with the same user (agent and customer) - those are considered own changes, and by default Jira doesn't send notification on own changes.

In Jira features can changes based on the context (project, global, etc.), you can watch the Jira URL to get hints of different locations for accessing features. This might be the case of single project/board view vs broader plan Note: things are constantly changing and in 2025 there will be new…

Hi @Cui Wei Lee , welcome to the Community! It looks like place for details of selected issue, click on some task and see if it shows the issue details. Hi @FitDevOps , welcome to the Community! It looks like you are 1 step from solution. Projects use workflow schemes which groups workflows. Here is a hint from chat GPT: * Call /rest/api/3/project to list all projects. * For each project: Call /rest/api/3/workflowscheme/project?projectId={projectId} to get the workflow…
