"so one user can be added to many workspace but will pay just for one?" Yes, one user can be added to many Workspaces. You will only pay for the user for Workspaces that are paid (that could be more than once though if you had more than one paid Workspace). If I pay for two Workspaces, and I add Bob to both Workspaces,…

Any user can make as many Workspaces as they like. However, a paid subscription or Standard or Premium applies to one Workspace only. (Enterprise is not usually available to most customers as there is a minimum size requirement). So you are not limited to the number of Workspaces you can have, but your paid subscription…

"We are not using premium and so all members are admin, is this the problem?" I think so.

Go to Trello and read the notifications -> bell in top right of page.

Can you trick it into sending a different browser type to Trello's servers?

Maybe https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Introducing-Trellinator-Automate-Trello-with-Google-Apps-Script/ba-p/925271 ?

We don't have any reports of this happening right now as far as I know (this question is over two years old). I would suggest trying with a different web browser or a different computer to see if it is your computer or your account. You should then try to reach out to support at https://trello.com/contact/

No, all the changes they made to the board in the past will remain.
-
If you are an admin for the Workspace can't you archive the boards?
-
Currently there is not a way to stop this as far as I know.
-
When you add people’s faces to cards it also sets them to watch the card. This is one reason people get notified of things but you can stop watching anything : https://help.trello.com/article/799-watching-cards-lists-and-boards You can also control the frequency that emails go out. If you set that to periodically then if…

Go to the board you want to add the user to and invite them directly to the board. Don’t worry about their status in the Workspace itself because you don’t want them to be a member or the workspace.
-
Yes.
-
If you don’t share your board with other people, then no one else will be able to read your content. Currently the only feature that has to do with permissions would be that you have finer grained permissions for people you invite to your workspace on the paid plans. On the free plans everyone that you add to your…

If you are trying to do that in the Desktop application, it’s due to Apples restrictions on what we can show in an app that doesn’t have in app payments. It is not possible to pay for Trello through the desktop application. If you use a web browser I think you’ll find the experience less confusing for purchasing.
-
No limit on number of workspaces. Free Workspaces are limited to 10 boards.
-
Use a web browser: https://help.trello.com/article/715-inviting-people-to-a-workspace I think you might be using the desktop app and there are issues with Apple and payments possibly that make the interface a bit weird.
-
They can't pay for themselves that way. You have them in a board that is in a workspace. Someone paid for the workspace (your workspace admin) so if the board you are adding them to - whatever workspace that board is in - you have to have that person paying for that workspace to add them to the board (or to the workspace).…
-
Yes, you just need to set up an Automation to do it: https://blog.trello.com/butler-automations-for-slack-jira
-
The message should say something more than that I think? Are you using the desktop app? It should say something like "This user is already a guest on a different board in the Workspace. If you add them to this board you will have to pay for them". If you are a workspace admin you can just do that. If you are not then the…

What happens? Does the page give you an error? Not load?

Please post a screenshot. You either have a filter enabled (which you can X out or type x to clear) or you are logged into an empty account under the wrong email address.
-
No, not really. Technically it's limited to like 1400 ppl though at the API level: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/guides/rest-api/limits/
-
Add one of them as an admin of the board. And then let them change the Workspace for the board to one of their Workspaces.
-
That’s not a filter. Have you installed any chrome extensions for Trello? Can you log into Trello.com in an incognito window and see if it persists?

The other replies in this post are from 2020. If it is happening to you again (I haven’t seen it pop up since then) it might be most helpful to start a new thread on it so we can track it down.

Currently the only way to copy information automatically from one card to another (or one board to another) automatically is Unito AFAIK.

This might help but I'm not sure: https://blog.trello.com/fedramp-announcement
