Thanks for updating us, Dan. The last error message points that the Database is already open by some other application/client. Anyway, you may request your colleague to raise a ticket with us via support.atlassian.com with your evaluation SEN if they still face issues.
-
Hi Dan, Were you able to resolve the issue? If not, I thought of creating a new ticket internally to followup on this.
-
Hi Omar, Just so you know, this feature is now implemented in the upcoming version - Bamboo 6.9.0
-
Hey Dan, Nice formatting. First of all, I highly doubt Bamboo version you use can be 1.6 especially when you say that you're evaluating. The current version (as of writing this post) is 6.8.0. Coming to the problem: You say that you have intermittent problem in accessing Bamboo UI from a remote machine. This, to me,…

Glad that you were able to figure it out. Cheers

Hi Ulrika, As you say that only one user is experiencing credentials mismatch error, could it be that the user has actually entered a wrong password? You, as an admin, may reset the credentials of that user and try logging in and see if they can login. Cheers, Jey

Hi Skotnikov, Could you please explain why you would need to download an SSH-agent? An SSH agent comes with the operating system If you are attempting to run a build in a remote computer, you may have to install a remote agent as explained in this page. If your intention is to login to a remote box as a part of the build…

Hi Oliver, These errors seem to indicate Bamboo's index has become corrupted (as explained here). The solution is to remove the contents inside this directory $BAMBOO_HOME/index and start Bamboo. Let us know if that helped you. Cheers, Jey

Hi Valeriy, I see that this is being handled internally via BSP-40224 already and thus I'll choose not to answer them. Just to answer your query on how to trigger repository scanning forcefully, I suggest you to run the below curl command to scan for changes in Specs. Replace the repositoryID with the respective Specs…

Hi Masyagturov, As you might know, revision numbers are linear in Subversion (unlike Git) and thus Bamboo wouldn't have anything new to build even if the revision number in your build result reflects the latest revision. The commits tab in the Build result summary page should tell you which branch had the changes. You may…

Ah, good catch. Thanks for sharing it here :)

Hi Gowthamprabhu, I need to execute the script which is in the bitbucket. Which path should I give ? I assume your script is in a Bitbucket repository. It is possible to execute a script that is either inline or in a location relative to the repository root of the plan, or absolute path as explained in this page. You may…

Do you still experience this issue? We can create a support ticket for you if so to investigate further. Cheers, Jey

If you are an administrator and you are using Bamboo 6.6 and above, you might want to follow this link to recover your admin credentials. You would basically need to add the <span>"</span>-Datlassian.recovery.password=yourtemporarypassword" value to the JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS property in…

It is just a matter of time, Jan. Bamboo is introducing so many new features in every major release. I'm confident the feature gets significantly better over the upcoming releases. Thanks for understanding.
-
From your comment, it looks like Bamboo Specs execution took place, which is good. However, the subsequent entries in the same log should tell us if the maven build failed after the import. Sometimes, it fails due to the permission in the system like mentioned in this thread.
-
You may use tools like Selenium to automate UI testing. This external Browserstack link gives you an idea on how to configure with Bamboo.
-
Hi, Have you tried automating the angular project build tasks with Script task? Do you face any issues there?
-
Usually when you do not see the plan triggering Specs, the respective bamboo logs should hint us what the problem is. Check your <bamboo-install>/logs/catalina.out or <bamboo-home>/logs/atlassian-bamboo.log and see if you get a hint. Cheers, Jey
-
Hi Jan, There is an open feature request for this and we encourage you to upvote and comment on it: BAM-19858 .
-
Once you finalise the commands to migrate from SVN to Git with the resources given by my colleague, you may just create a plan and have a Script task in it and add all those commands to it. You should now be able to just Run the plan and all the commands will be executed. The build will be successful upon successful…
-
Added to my colleague's inputs, I just wanted to update that as an extra precaution that is in-line with industry best practices, the next release - Bamboo 6.7 will contain the latest updated Struts jar in it (even though Bamboo is not affected by this vulnerability). This is expected to be released in the coming weeks…

Hi Stephen, I understand this is frustrating for you. I found that there is already an existing feature request for what you are looking for - BAM-19616 - Ability to transition a plan from Repository Stored Specs (RSS) managed back to a standard plan Please share your views there in a comment and don't forget to upvote.…
-
Hi Salamon, Currently, it is only possible to trigger a plan branch from the default repository. This means that you may not be able to configure Bamboo to listen to new branches from multiple repositories. There is already an open feature request for this: BAM-19854 . Please feel free to upvote and share your inputs…
-
Hi Bharat, The error you get appears to be specific to your build only. Do you get the same error when you run outside of Bamboo in a command prompt? If you do, please fix them one by one and run them again in Bamboo.
-
I understand you are looking to know the minimum access policies required for Bamboo Server to be able to work with elastic agents. Please correct me if I understood your requirement wrong. I see that one of the comments have a full list of EC2 actions used by Elastic Bamboo. These actions must be included in any minimal /…

Hi Monica, You may have to contact your system administrators for this.
-
You will have to play around with the commands in a command prompt on your Bamboo server an use the same hostname in SSH/SCP task.
-
Hi Monica, There is no option to CC someone in a notification. You may have to add this user manually to the Notifications section in the respective Plan configuration, so that they are notified on the events you have configured.
-
Hi Monica, Is there any possible way to change the predefined events which appears under Add notification option? You can only use the notification options available in your plan configuration explained here. Other one is, I have tried the inline script task method but no luck. How to configure sendmail and the smtp server…
