Hi Nick, While this would be beyond the scope of the Power-Up, you could set up something like this using a third-party automation tool, such as Zapier or IFTTT. It would also be possible to write a custom script for this using the Trello and GitHub APIs. Trello's API is fully documented here: https://developers.trello.com/

As an alternative to copying, you could create a new blank board, and then move all of the lists from the old board to the new one. This will keep the comments and card activity in tact.

Hi Akash, really interesting idea to set your screensaver to be a Trello board! Currently, there isn't a way to disable the menu from appearing y default when accessing a public a board, but I'll pass your interest in that along to our team.

Hi Garaga! We do have examples of a few different ways of attaching files here, although these mostly use form data. You should be able to use the API to attach any kind of file that you would be able to attach using the Trello interface itself. If attaching a file from, say, your computer, then the value for "file=" would…

Hi Benjamin! Currently, Trello will not strip signatures or other attachments. The only information Trello tries to remove is what it can parse as replies to an original email. That's because Trello errs on the side of not stripping data (to avoid data loss) rather than over-stripping. Unfortunately, that does mean that…

Hi Mohammad! If you copy the link to the file from Slack, you can add that link as an attachment to a Trello card. However, it's not currently possible to use the Slack Power-Up to attach just a file rather than a conversation.

Hi Prasanthi, Are the cards in your production account copied from another board? Copied comments are considered actions (the action of copying the comment) rather than as a comment itself, so if these cards were copied, that could explain why the comments are showing up in the activity feed in JIRA. You can tell if a…

Hi Prasanthi, Could you tell us a little more about the trial and production instances of Trello that you're referring to? Trello doesn't have a trial version—are you referring to two different accounts, or different boards?

Hi Max, We have a drag-and-drop library that puts the element into a certain place on the page, and then the browser handles the positioning of it. Good luck with your app!

Hi Rafael, While this isn't built directly into Trello, you could probably set something up for this using a third-party automation tool such as Zapier: http://info.trello.com/power-ups/zapier

Hi Barb, Happy to answer those questions for you! 1. There isn't a way to have the date and time stamp next to the checklist item itself—however, this is listed in the card's activity feed, at the bottom of the card. If you're only seeing comments there and no activity, you can click on the "Show Details" link at the top…

Hi Rebecca, By default, searching for "@username" will only turn up cards where someone was assigned. However, if you search for comment:"@username" , checklist:"@username", or description:"@username", you'll get cards where you were mentioned in a comment, checklist, or description respectively. For more info on special…

Hi Brendan, We have some pointers on the JSON export that may be helpful for you here: http://help.trello.com/article/924-making-sense-of-trellos-json-export Let us know if you have any questions!

Hi Laura, You can transfer a board from one account to another by adding your work account as an admin for your personal boards. Then, you can leave those boards from your personal account. How to add an admin: http://help.trello.com/article/790-making-a-user-an-admin-of-a-board How to leave a…

Hi Daniel, The values you're seeing in those results are the unique IDs for those custom fields, rather than an encryption. You can match those unique IDs to the names of the custom fields by using this request: GET /1/boards/[boardID]/pluginData

Hi there! You can edit the checklist item to add more information—however, there isn't a way to add a separate comment to a checklist item.
-
Hi Mari, Right now, only due dates are visible in the Calendar Power-Up. I'll definitely pass along your interest in being able to see dates from custom fields there as well! :)
-
Hi Hugh, That's not on the short-term roadmap at the moment, but I'll pass that suggestion on to our team!
-
Hi Jody, You could include those boards within the same team to group them together, or add a link to Board B on a card on Board A, and vice versa, so that you can easily access one from the other. Beyond that, there isn't a way to establish a connection between two boards within Trello, although you can automate certain…

Hi Robyn, Currently, there isn't a tool available specifically for transfering data from Microsoft Planner to Trello. If you're comfortable with code or have access to a developer, you can use the Trello API to import the tasks that are currently in your spreadsheet into Trello. Our API is fully documented…
