  • Do you see any banners on that board with messaging about it being in read-only mode? It sounds like the Workspace may be over the free collaborator limit. Free Workspaces in Trello are limited to 10 collaborators (including both Workspace members and Workspace guests). As of May 20, any boards in free Workspaces over that…
  • This feature was recently removed—however, you can still reorder these boards from either the "Starred" menu at the top of Trello or from the sidebar menu when you have a board open, and the changes you make there will be reflected on the home page as well.
  • The collaborator limit applies to the entire Workspace, so while there may be fewer than 10 members on the board that you're a member of within that Workspace, there may still be more boards in the Workspace with more members. If that's the case, the Workspace admin will need to either remove collaborators or upgrade the…
  • The limit includes all collaborators in the Workspace, meaning that it includes guests as well as members. If you go to the Workspace members page and look in the sidebar, you will see the number of total collaborators. From that page, you can also go to the Guests page and remove any guests as needed to get under the…
  • Free Workspaces can have up to 10 open boards, so as long as you don't have more than 10, there will be no impact when the trial ends. If you do have more than 10, your least active boards will automatically closed. They're not deleted—you can reopen them if you close a different board instead to make room in the…
  • Upon further investigation, removing that member may not resolve this. If it doesn't help, starting a free trial should fix this for now, but we're still looking into solve the root issue.
  • If you open one of your boards in the impacted Workspace and click on the "Share" button at the top right, you'll see "Workspace admin" beneath the username of the person who's the admin for that Workspace.
  • Although you're the admin for that board, you're not currently an admin for the Workspace that board belongs to. If you click on the "Share" button on the board, that will show you a list of all members and will say if they're a Workspace guest or a Workspace admin. The Workspace admin will need to be the one to upgrade…
  • I took a look at your account, and I saw that there's a Workspace that you're a guest on which is over the collaborator limit. The additional collaborators are on boards that you're not a member of, so the Workspace admin will need to resolve this.
  • Thanks for sharing that information. The team has looked into this, and there's a Trello IT account on one of the boards that we believe is causing this issue. We're looking into a longterm fix for this, but, in the meantime, the admin of the Workspace will need to go to the board that has the member @Trello on it and…
  • Hi @yoel, the collaborator limit includes all Workspace members and all Workspace guests. So, while it could be that the boards you have access to have a total of less than 10 members, and the number of Workspace members may also be less than 10, there could be other boards in that Workspace that you don't have access to…

  • Hi Kristy, I took a look at your account, and it looks like this is related to your company's Trello Enterprise account. Our support team will be able to provide more information than I can here, but in the meantime, I'd recommend that you ask your company's Trello admin about this. They should be able to reactivate your…
  • Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user, so you wouldn't choose individual people to upgrade. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically calculated taking into account all users. However, that doesn't mean that all users have to be paid for as part of that bill. That depends on these…
  • Single-board guests are always free. Guests on multiple boards will be included in the bill at the same rate as regular Workspace members, regardless of whether or not they're Observers. Someone who views a public board but is not a member of it does not count as a guest. Since it looks like all of your guests are…
  • The collaborator limit applies to the entire Workspace rather than specific boards. One possibility is that there are fewer than 10 members on the boards that you're a member of within that Workspace, but there may be more boards in the Workspace with more members. If that's the case, the Workspace admin will need to…
  • This is a bit of a longshot, but try going to trello.com/my/activity. You may find a link to that board in your activity feed.
  • Hi Rosie, you can apply here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/views/community-license-request#/
  • OK! First of all, it shouldn't have been possible for you to remove yourself from those boards—that was a bug on our side, which the team is looking into. To help you resolve this, we've added 1 month of Trello Standard to your Workspace. This will allow you to regain access control on any board within the Workspace. To do…
  • In order to edit the boards in that Workspace, the Workspace admin will need to either upgrade the Workspace or remove collaborators so that it's no longer under the limit. Keep in mind that the limit applies to the entire Workspace, so even if the board you're using has 10 or fewer members, if there are other users in…

  • Hi Jamie, just wanted to share an update. I've figured out what's happened, and I'm pretty confident we'll be able to help you get back into those boards. I'll get back to you later when I have a solution for you.
  • The collaborator limit applies to the entire Workspace, so while there may be fewer than 10 members on the board that you're a member of within that Workspace, there may still be more boards in the Workspace with more members. If that's the case, the Workspace admin will need to either remove collaborators or upgrade the…
  • If the guests are on more than one board in the Workspace, they'll be billed at the same rate as Workspace members. If they're on just one board, they'll be free. If you scroll down to the very bottom of that page (the one you sent the screenshot from), it will show you the total price for upgrading your Workspace.
  • It sounds like that Workspace is still over the collaborator limit. One possibility is that there are fewer than 10 members on the boards that you're a member of within that Workspace, but there may be more boards in the Workspace with more members. If that's the case, the Workspace admin will need to either remove…
  • Just to clarify, Standard also includes many of these benefits that @Valeriia_Havrylenko_SaaSJet listed for Premium: * Unlimited boards * No collaborator limit * Advanced checklists * Custom fields * Single-board guests are free (in both Standard and Premium, multi-board guests are billed at the same rate as Workspace…
  • Are you able to use a quote generated within the product itself? If so, you can see how much the upgrade would cost by going to the Workspace billing page. To navigate there, click on the down arrow next to "Workspace settings" in the sidebar, and then click on "Upgrade workspace." You'll be able to switch between monthly…
