Can you give us more info? Scriptrunner version and JIRA version? Also include what snippet of code you are using to set the label. I might try to reproduce this sometime today. Thank you and apologies for the problems caused by this! DY

That is indeed a better way of doing it. Thanks Mark!

Btw I could be wrong about the ids being strings, if I am wrong, substitute all of the '13405' for 13405

Hi Nallu. I've done some minor modifications to your code, where you had a few dangerous statements that could lead to exceptions. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the value isn't a long, it's a String. Try this: def gatingMechanismField = getFieldById(getFieldChanged()) // Getting Gating Mechanism field object def…

Hi Martin Hohenberg As Gezim suggested: why don't you use the Scriptrunner built-in post-function "Fast-track transition"? It's built in and it does what you want it to do. Check the documentation for it here Do tell me if I can help you further. Cheers! DYelamos

Hi Denis. This question has already been answered here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Using-Post-function-script-to-Transition-Sub-Tasks/qaq-p/379790 It is very old though. Is it good enough to help you? Cheers! DY

Hi Amir! As far as I know, they cannot be disabled. You can, however, change the file that you can log to if you follow this documentation article. Would logging to another file satisfy your need? Cheers! DY
-
Hi Amir. There's a reason why those login statements are there I would say. Are they warnings? Or simple debug statements? May I see one to have a look? Cheers! DY

We all think we're going crazy sometimes! My pleasure sir.

Hi Lubomir. I think your postfunction is firing for sure. That is a static compilation error and I'm sure it's not what's making that postfunction fail. Could you add a log.debug "I'm in the postfunction" That way you can check the logs to make sure that it's actually getting executed. Cheers! DY

Hi Dorian. In all honesty, I don't think this is possible. You might be able to use fragments to alter the css, but it might misbehave. You seem to be aware that this can be done with css altering javascript. In my experience though, these changes are hard to maintain. If I may, why do you want to do this? Cheers DY

Hi Stephen. Go to Scriptrunner->Fragments. In the top part of the menu for this page, you will see something like this: This is what you are looking for. Cheers! DY

Hi Arama: I've just tested this script and it works on release FixVersions, if you want affect versions, change the JQL import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.search.SearchProvider import com.atlassian.jira.jql.parser.JqlQueryParser import…

Hi Santosh. Is there any reason why you want to do this? This sounds like standard Service Desk functionality to me. With ServiceDesk, customers can send you an email, and that opens an issue, furthermore, if they reply to that email, it will result in a comment. If this isn't what you want, could you explain further? This…

Hello Alvin. We appreciate the urgency of your issue, but as far as I know, your issue is already assigned to one of our best support staff. Please be patient, as your issue doesn't look like something trivial, and we have more than one customer to attend in the course of one day. We appreciate your patience and thank you…

Hi Cindy. Yes, Mark is correct. But it will require further configuration, as he also explained. Do tell me if I can help you further. Cheers DY
-
Edu: Have you used the modified script that I sent you? Cheers DY
-
Hi Silicon. Could I have a look at your full script? I have just tested this locally and I can assure you that on my instance, createIssueLink triggered a reindex. Could you also add your JIRA version? To further my point, there was a feature to request that createIssueLink could opt out of the reindexing event, and it was…

This then sounds like a bug. I would advise that you open a support ticket in our support portal to let our team help you.
-
Hi Helen. You are on a version that is more than 3 years old. I cannot go back to check that far since we do no longer support that version. I would recommend that you upgrade to a retail version of Scriptrunner. Cheers! DY
-
Hi Cindy! What is your Scriptrunner version? We added support for Service Desk quite recently, so if you are in an old version, it would not work. Cheers! DY

Hola Edu! ¿Como estamos? Te voy a echar una mano, pero te tengo que responder en ingles para que el resto de mi equipo pueda leer esta respuesta. ¿Va? I've modified your code according to the following: 1. In groovy instead of for looping you can use a .each closure. Your 'link[x]' has been renamed to 'it'. You can read…

I'm talking about this bug: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2738 Mind you, I do not know which version of ScriptRunner you are in, so I can't know if you were affected by this bug, but it was fixed on July the 9th this year. on version 5.2.28 Do let me know if you have a greater version and you are…

Hi Steve. This used to be a bug but it has since been fixed I believe. Is this still an issue? If so I'll investigate further. Cheers DY
-
Hi Teju. We want to help you, but your description is rather non-specific. Could you please provide further detail? Thanks! DY

As Nir said, yes, it is hard to do it with Scriptrunner. This has to do with the fact that the JIRA API doesn't offer a straightforward way of doing this. However, it might be a lot easier to clone your issue to another project and linking it, instead of "moving the issue". You can do this by: * Create a CloneIssue…

Hi Asha. I would like to extend my apologies. I didn't see the jira-cloud tag in the post, you don't mention that this is for Scriptrunner Cloud in the description of your question. That led me to believe this was for Jira Server. my previous comments were misleading and sadly, I have no experience with Jira Cloud, so I…

Hi Asha. Where it is that you are calling this script? Cheers! DY
-
I agree with Nic here. You should try to find out your custom priorities id.

Hi Cody! This is most likely related to a code exception, which means that your code is failing, not catching an exception, and hence, the execution is stopped. Have you checked the code for an exception? Cheers! DY
