I would recommend opening a support ticket with Atlassian so they can give you more information on why the import is failing, however I will say that I tend to get that error only when I'm merging user accounts instead of overwriting them. Is there a reason you want to merge the accounts rather than overwriting them?

Add the "Parent Link" field to the screen for the issue types that you want to add in between Epic and Story - for example if your Advanced Roadmap hierarchy is Epic -> Feature -> Story, then add the Parent Link field to the Feature screen. Once you do that you can add the Parent Link from the Feature to the Epic if the…

The Automations are limited per month, regardless if they are project specific or global. The count goes against how many automations are run in a month. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/how-is-my-usage-calculated/

You can do this in Advanced Roadmaps if you go to Plans -> Settings -> Advanced Roadmaps Hierarchy Configuration. https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapscloud/configuring-hierarchy-levels-998650959.html

My photo was in the original Pet Semetary movie so I met a handful of the people on set, but I don't remember any of it - I was so young!

Silly question but how do I subscribe to the roundup newsletter?

My wedding cake! It was raspberry lemon, so delicious!

Either Jira or Confluence will need to have a /jira or /confluence .. for example jira.mydomain.com/jira or confluence.mydomain.com/confluence

You will need to add context paths to the applications. Here are the instructions for Jira and Confluence: * https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-change-the-confluence-context-path-707985922.html * https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/change-the-context-path-used-to-access-jira-server-225119408.html This will…

Are Jira and Confluence on the same servers? You may have to add /confluence to the URL if they are, that will prevent you from having to log in again when switching between Jira and Confluence.
-
That worked, thanks!
-
Have you tried to import the parent issues first and then the sub-tasks?
-
I can't seem to watch this group. Any time I click on the Watch but, nothing happens. Is this something on my end? I've tried both Firefox and Safari.

@Andy Heinzer Ah I meant after Server licenses are no longer available, I still anticipate the merging of multiple Jira Cloud instances to occur.
-
What would be the best way to merge multiple Jira and Confluence instances going forward?
-
I volunteer for a nonprofit and they would be willing to move to the Cloud but only if the pricing was incredibly nominal or free. It would actually benefit the company greatly to move to the cloud as there would be less overhead for them but the pricing would have to be worth it.

This seems pretty interesting!

You could add the Jira issues macro and then do a JQL search for summary ~data. Would you want to be able to search without editing the Confluence page?
-
You may have to create a support ticket with Atlassian. Recently I was trying to do a bulk move of tickets and was getting a 500 error that turned out to be an error with one of the parent/child relationships. Another option is to reassociate the issues one issue type at a time (for example, add Task issue type and then…

I suspect you are not an admin in the environment and the request has been sent to whomever is the admin. You may want to reach out to them directly to request the app.

Did it say the install was successful when you clicked on "Get app"?

How did you go about integrating it? Did you install a plugin?

Set it up like this:

Is it possible to have a Jira admin create a new group with only you in the group and then in the System settings click on "Send email" and send it to the newly created group? This can test whether you are receiving emails at all from Jira.

If you go to your profile in Jira (click on your profile photo and then go to Personal Settings), are the following all checked off:

What browser are you using? If you are using Internet Explorer can you try switching to a different browser and trying again?
-
That is most likely the reason you are encountering this problem. On the screen for Tasks, you can add the Epic Link field and then you can link the existing Task to an existing Epic.
-
Are there any required fields for the Task issue type?
-
Are you an administrator of the space or a confluence administrator?
-
What browser are you using? Does it do the same if you try a different browser?
