Hi, As far as I know, the fields that are displayed on the create issue screen in Confluence are the required fields that are set as required in the fields configuration scheme.
-
I would also recommend the Issue Matrix app. It's great! Easy configuration and gets work done.

Hi Jodie, I think in this case you should update the remaining estimate together with the original to the new value. The remaining estimate has the value if the original only at the first time you set it. If you change it afterwards both values are disconnected. Let me know if this has worked for you. Cheers, Tanya

The thing is that if you only need to display the capacity field then it's ok to use scripted field for that. But if you actually want to store this valie and to be able to use it in reports or dashboard you should use a regular number type field and set it's value from a scripted listener or escalation service. Hi, You can create a board that consolidates all issues from all those 20 projects. This way users will have a one-stop-shop to work on. Create swimlanes or quick filters to differentiate the work based on projects. Another way might be to create one project and utilize epics to differentiate the work. Cheers, Tanya

You need the manage sprint permissions in ALL projects associated with the board you're looking at and trying to complete the sprint from.
-
Maybe they don't have browse permissions?..
-
You can achieve this only using apps from the marketplace. There are 2 leading apps that allow you to create sub components: Subcomponents for Jira Configuration management toolkit But pay attention to the fact that components are objects within a project, so if you have 3 different projects the components between them are…

Hi, Maybe adding the EazyBI reports a Jira dashboard instead and assigning the relevant users to be the dashboard owner will help here... If you need to make a bunch of people the owners of the dashboard you should search for an app that extends this ability, like…

Try checking if he has the transition permissions in the project... You can try the permission helper for that if you have admin rights.

Hi, There is an answer on this page https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Making-edit-restrictions-inherited/qaq-p/889917 Hope it helps :-) Tanya

Hi Brad, By default, the reporter is filled with the logged in user. You can try writing a script listener that is triggered by the issue linked event and updates the reporter to the one from the linked issue. It will update the history record and send a notification to the new reporter. For this you will need the script…

Hi, Maybe try using REST Api for that... Take a look here https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/8.0.2/#api/2/project

Hi, In general the fields that have values are displayed on the issues' screen. Do you want to get a full list of all available fields in Jira or the values themselves on specific issues? Cheers, Tanya
-
Hi Paula, Any field of users or group type that you add to the view screen will be displayed on the people section. For this you need project/jira admin permission. Regarding the second question, the changes will affect the issues that are using the screen scheme you're changing. So if the screen scheme is shared it might…

Hi Nischal, Yes, this is possible using a post function. You should edit the workflow and add this on the relevant transition. I guess to implement this kind of calculation you would need to use script runner abilities and write a script that will implement this requirement. If you need any assistance with that you are…

You can color to cards on the board based on queries, so if you have some custom field that represents the teams (or some other way to differentiate between teams) you can try this approach with no need to use any external app.
-
Hi, What apps do you have? Do you have script runner? Also, what do you want to do with these custom fields? Do you want to create some kind of a report based on those statistics? If so - do you have a reporting solution? EazyBI? Regards, Tanya
-
Hi Igor, You need to set a screen on the transition arrow to done. This is done from the workflow editor -> select the relevant transition (stand on the arrow) -> there should be a drop down of screens for selection. Hope this answers your question. Tanya.

You could try evaluating the Tracking & Estimation fir Jira app from the marketplace. The only thing is that it's not compatible with Tempo. Other than that, it's a great app!
-
You can try the tempo timesheet app, very recommended :-)

Hi @Susant Rout, We had the same problem with oue EazyBI. We've found 2 ways to deal with to complex reports that cannot complete within the defined timeout: 1) Define separate accounts to lower the total amount of data in the cube. 2) We've made some calculations in Jira using script runner and custom calculated fielda to…

Hello All! I'll go first, hopefully more will follow so we can learn from our experience.... We use eazyBI extensively! It's super powerful but not that easy. For some basic xustoc reporting its pretty intuitive, but for anything a little more complicated you really need to know ypur way around it. EazyBI uses MDX syntax…

Sounds very interesting! Could you please elaborate on the script template? How do you create it and how the user inputs data into the template? Thanks, Tanya

So, I would be able to unwatch the issues via script but not manually or using bulk unwatch? Is there some mechanism in JIRA, that the script runner is able to override, and the UI is not? I'm not really sure I understand the difference...
-
Hi Alexey, Thanks for your fast reply! I've changed the autowatch own issues setting to 'No' but unfortunately, this is good only for new issues. The old ones, I've reported are still watched by me and I can't unwatch them. Is this a bug?
-
Hi Nic, I'll join the same problem and would like to explain more. We've fixed the notification scheme to exclude the reporter from all notifications (because in our system the majority of issues are reported by the same person, but he doesn't want to be notified on every update). BUT, the problem is that the reporter is…

Hi Jobin, Thanks for your quick answer :-) The reason I asked this question is because I couldn't find any built-in was of monitoring myself. I actually also thought that this isn't supposed to be something that's worth monitoring, but we've experienced a failure in JIRA<->Bitbucket integration after the IP of Bitbucket…
