I was upgrading Confluence from 6.0.6 to 6.12.0 via ssh and the upgrade process was successfully done. After opening the the URL it redirected me to the setup page again http://www.domain.com/setup/selectbundle.action
Confluence is self-hosted on Linux server.
Please note that i am not a Linux administrator.
Any suggestions?
Hi @Tamer Sherif,
After upgrading Confluence, my SYS Admin (Linux) would update the proxyName row in vi server.xml on the server. This is where we tell the URL it is Confluence.
I hope this helps!
Jon
Hi @Jonathan Smith
I can't go to the general configuration page it always redirects to the above URL.
Now there is an error showed:
The SystemInformationService could not be retrieved from the container. Therefore very limited information is available in this error report. The SystemInformationService could not be retrieved due to the following error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Spring Application context has not been set

@Tamer Sherif Edited my first post. You might need someone to jump on the server and verify the correct URL is in vi server.xml.
@Jonathan Smith I check the server.xml file and the URL is correct.
