Will Incident Command Center integrate with Zoom and/or Slack? We don't use Microsoft Teams, and it would be nice to share a Zoom link within the incident information.
Considering slack and zoom have always been ever present as options in various integrations - id be VERY surprised if it wasn't.
Trust me when I say this - I'm not a fan of MS Teams either - so I'm very hopeful this won't be a problem.
Hi @Brett Haffener,
Zoom and Slack already work on Jira Service Management Cloud incidents through the chat and video tools, so you don't need Microsoft Teams for this. The incident's Details section has a Zoom field with Create meeting and a Slack field with Add channel, and both need a bit of admin setup before the fields show up:
1. A site admin connects Zoom under Settings > Apps > Operations > Chat and video tools > Zoom > Connect.2. A space admin turns Zoom on under Space settings > Operations > Incident management > Communication preferences.3. For Slack, the same Chat and video tools page has Slack > Connect new workspace.
Atlassian covers all of it here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/connect-zoom-to-your-service-project/ and https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/connect-a-new-slack-workspace-to-your-service-project/ and https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/create-a-chat-channel-from-an-incident/
The new Incident Command Center is a separate piece, it's in early access and only on the Premium and Enterprise plans, and the pages I've read mention Slack only as a source for the AI summary and as a search connector. I haven't seen Zoom meetings documented inside it yet, so I wouldn't count on that part. I hope this gets your Zoom links in.
