During the Day 3 hands-on lab with Rob Hean, I experimented with transforming traditional business documentation into visual content using Rovo Remix.
THE CHALLENGE
I started with the fictional Northstar Forge 2027 Annual Plan, a Confluence document containing strategic objectives, financial data, operational plans, and business priorities.
My goal was to make complex information easier to understand without changing its original meaning.

THE REMIX
I selected the "Strategic Themes" section and used Rovo Remix to transform four text-heavy strategic priorities into a visual infographic.
Instead of reading several paragraphs, the audience can now identify the company's four strategic priorities at a glance.
WHAT I LEARNED
The most interesting part wasn't simply generating a visual.
It was understanding that choosing the right visualization depends on both the information and the audience.
A mind map, infographic, flowchart, or chart can communicate very different things, even when they use the same source content.
I also explored Rovo Chat separately to analyze the complete document, create additional charts, and identify potential inconsistencies without modifying the original data.

MY BIGGEST TAKEAWAY
AI can make documentation easier to consume, but human judgment remains essential to ensure the result is accurate, meaningful, and useful.
I'm now incorporating these experiments into my Confluence training materials.
Thanks to Rob Hean and the Atlassian team for an inspiring hands-on lab!
Sometimes a simple Remix opens the door to a completely different way of working with knowledge.
