Cannot sign-in Rovo Desktop (Windows)

Dear All,

I'm experiencing an issue signing in to Rovo Desktop.

I can successfully authenticate using my Atlassian account. After clicking the "Open Rovo" button in the browser prompt, the browser displays "Authorization complete."

However, Rovo Desktop remains stuck on "Signing in..." and does not complete the login process.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or resolve it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the step-by-step troubleshooting guide to resolve the handshake lock:

Switch your default browser temporarily: If you authenticated via Chrome or Edge, try setting Safari (on macOS) or Firefox / Chrome as your default browser temporarily, or copy the initial login link into another browser.
Check for hidden browser permission dialogs: When the browser says "Authorization complete", look at the top of your browser window or address bar. Ensure a browser popup saying "Open Rovo.app?" or "Open Rovo Desktop?" was not silently blocked or hidden behind other open windows.In Chrome/Edge, look at the right side of the address bar for a small blocked popup/protocol icon.
Clear local rovo desktop App state & cache
Re-install the desktop app:
1. Uninstall Rovo Desktop.
2. Reboot your machine (this flushes the OS-level URL scheme table: LaunchServices on macOS / Registry on Windows).
3. Download and install the latest build fresh from the official Atlassian portal.
4. Launch the app and attempt the sign-in flow.

Thanks! Rovo Desktop is working as expected today, although I'm not sure what changed.

The only noticeable difference compared to last week is that the browser now displays a pop-up prompting me to "Open Rovo.app."
