Unlike labels in Jira, when I start to type a tag in Opsgenie, there is no autofill. I would like to get a list of all the tags that are in use in Opsgenie. Is there a way to get that list?
Hi @richard.n.pykkonen ,
Opsgenie doesn't have an autofill for tags at this time.
You could review the alerts in the Analytics tab >> Alert Analytics report. Add a filter that looks something like this, then export the list via CSV and manipulate the data there:
There's also this table in the Alert Analytics report that shows the most used tags based on the report's filter as well:
You could also run a query in the Alerts tab for something like:
tag !: null
and export these alerts via CSV as well:
Thank you for the help.
What about through the API @Nick Haller I want to get all tags in incidents and/or alerts
You can query on the alerts that have tags with something like either of these using the API:
https://api.opsgenie.com/v2/alerts?query=tag !: null
or using a wildcard: tag: "*"
https://api.opsgenie.com/v2/alerts?query=tag: "*"
The incident query isn't as robust, and does not support Null querying. You could probably get away with using a wildcard with something like this for the incident API:
https://api.opsgenie.com/v1/incidents?query=tag: "*"
I typically use a URL encoder to help determine what the query should be:
