How do I filter a queue by request types AND date range?

Question

My goal: have a queue that filters 3 request types (out of 9) in a specific date range.

This is the JQL I have currently have in the filter (the queue is already filtered by Project Type so no need to add that in)

"customer request type" = "Courier Request" OR "Customer Request Type" = "Leavers (P&C ONLY!)" OR "Customer Request Type" = "Joiners (P&C ONLY!)" AND "Ship Date" >= 2022-01-21 AND "Ship Date" <= 2022-02-18

So - I want the queue to show Courier Requests, Leavers, and Joiners between Jan 21 and Feb 18, inclusive.  Right now the queue is working such that the 3 request types are correctly filtering, but the date range is not working, I am still seeing Ship Dates outside the range and tickets with empty Ship Dates.

I think the problem is that the "OR" operator separates your clause because one or another condition is true.

Can you try the following:

"Customer Request Type" in ("Courier Request", "Leavers P&C ONLY!", "Joiners (P&C ONLY!)") AND "Ship Date" >= 2022-01-21 AND "Ship Date" <= 2022-02-18
