How to change status using post function

Question

Hi,

I am using script runner plugin and I am trying to create post function for only the first transition.

The scenario is that when a ticket is opened it get "Waiting for Support" status and I would like that just for the first response in the ticket, the status will be changed to "Pending".

Is it possible?

Thanks!

Hi Tuncay,

Thanks for the help, but if I would like to use Fast Track what should be the condition? only the first response on the ticket (when the status is waiting for support) should change it to Pending. I tried to build it by myself but without success. Any assistance will be appreciated :)

Thanks

Hello Sapir,

Why don't you change initial status to "Pending" rather than "Waiting for Support"? This way, you would not need to transition issue.

Anyway if you still need to do that you can't just set the status to change it. You need to transition issue to change the status through the workflow.

You can use Fast Track feature of Script Runner.

Hope it helps
