How to edit the user profile when external management is enabled

Question

In my case the Jira is authenticating using AD, now the user in Jira/Confluence wants to edit his profile (eg. wants to add his telephone no.)

As external user management is enabled user can't do it from the application, So I did the changes(added Telephone no.) in AD but the change made on AD is not reflected in Jira/Confluence.

Does enabling external users management will not sync the changes made on AD if that is the case then how password changed is synced?

Hi @vishal03kadam,

you can try our app STAGIL Profiles and Skills for Confluence.

You'll be able to customize your Confluence user profiles and sync profile attributes (e.g. phone number) from your AD to the user profiles aswell.

We are in an early development process for a similar Jira app, so let us know if you like our app and the idea to use it in Jira aswell.
