JIRA Removing \ in comments with file path?

Hi Guys,

I have a weird issue. I have a user trying to place a file path in a comment on a standard task ticket. Shes putting in:

NAMEREMOVED\ADMIN\_ERIKA\20150827_Export Request

but when she submits what comes out as:

NAMEREMOVED\ADMIN_ERIKA\20150827_Export Request

What is going on here? How do I fix this? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Yes, _ is a reserved character and \ in front of it symbolizes that the following character will be displayed as it should. Attempt to do a NAMEREMOVED\ADMIN\_ERIKA\20150827_Export Request might solve this.
